Going into this season barely anybody was talking about them and yet here they are with an undefeated record at home in the 2nd week of February. TJ Otzelberger and his staff did a great job of assembling a roster via returners and the transfer portal. For 2 really good programs as we currently stand they are both 6-7 in this young 23-24 season. For UCLA and Mick Cronin it is not the end of the world but Jaime Jaquez and Tyger Campbell are not walking through that door. It's time to grow and develop the talent that you actually recruited. For USC and Andy Enfield those hot seat conversations must heat up. He is in Year 11 and has superb talent but they look outclassed in 80% of the games they've played in so far. As always tap in ‼️

On today's episode I talk about the two major trades that took place last week where the Milwaukee Bucks landed Damian Lillard and the Boston Celtics landed Jrue Holiday. I go in depth about both of these teams and why they'll both yet again have championship aspirations while I also tell y'all my personal concerns with each roster. Dame Lillard is now in a spot where he can realistically win a championship and all NBA fans should be happy for him while the Blazers future looks pretty good. I didn't really mention the Phoenix Suns outlook in all of this either but I love the work that James Jones has done in this past offseason. For the Celtics they finally get a TRUE point guard in Jrue that will make things so much easier for both Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. As always tap in

The SEC has plenty of question marks heading into the year but the Vols have a lot of solid pieces in areas that they usually struggle in, so I'm curious to see how it plays out for them in these next few months. A couple of game winners like FAU had in their game against Memphis and just nothing but high level basketball from Thursday to Sunday. The Big 12 has officially been the best conference in all of college basketball so I had to do a quick rundown on each of its teams. From the bottom all the way to the top of this league there is no such thing as off nights or bye games. So I deep dive into each of em while also giving you guys the pros and cons of the top 6. On this episode I talk about one of thee hottest teams in the country in the Kansas State Wildcats. In just this past week the Cats put the country on notice by going into both Texas and Baylor and coming out with wins. Jerome Tang and his staff have done a helluva job of assembling talent in their first year in Manhattan, Kansas. K-State is for real ladies and gentlemen. Tap in ‼️

On this first episode of the new year I decided to talk about both Kentucky and Michigan and some of the similar problems both of these programs are facing as both came into this season with high expectations, yet neither look anything close to what the media hyped em up to be. The season is far from over and these teams are capable of flipping the switch any day now but they also only have about 2 months left to get this train on the tracks and get it going in the right direction. There are no off nights in the SEC or the Big Ten so wins are earned not given, so we shall see how the rest of the season plays out for these 2 powerhouse programs. As always tap in 

On today's episode I had to give a ton of credit to both Danny Hurley and Nate Oats for the talent that they have assembled for their individual programs. Hurley has UCONN finally back to actually looking like a throwback UCONN squad while Oats has a plethora of talent down in Tuscaloosa led by the great Brandon Miller. Both of these teams will be major threats come March time. Tap in ‼️

College hoops is here so I had to talk about two of my favorite teams in the nation this season in Creighton and Arkansas. The Bluejays are 6-1 right now with a tough loss to Arizona in the championship game of the Maui Invitational. They have one of (if not the best) starting 5s in the country led by the bucket getting Trey Alexander. The Razorbacks on the other hand are sitting with a current record of 5-1 and also have nothing but talent on their young and upcoming squad. With Nick Smith Jr. out the Hogs are led by freshman Anthony Black who just so happens to be one of the best point guards in the entire country. On this episode I talk about one of the most intriguing teams in the NBA this year in the Cleveland Cavaliers. Koby Altman and staff have done a great job of piecing together this roster with Darius Garland and Evan Mobley not even close to their primes. I then talk about how Donovan Mitchell can help them get to the playoffs and how they are NOT YET a championship contending team but will be soon in a few years. Tap in ‼️

The 2021-22 college basketball season is officially over and we have crowned champions on both the mens and womens side. So today I talk about why even though it's far from perfect, the game is still in a great spot for the foreseeable future. As always tap in ‼️

My Spartans have completely fallen out of the top 25 and are currently on a 3-game losing streak ending out February. So on this episode I elaborate on the 5 issues that are holding this squad back from realizing their full potential. Tap in ‼️

A few weeks ago news broke that Mark Turgeon had officially quit being the Head men's basketball coach at Maryland so I talk about how this was a surprise but at the same time not that surprising. The Boilermakers have finally made it to the top of the mountain by being ranked no. 1 overall in the AP Top 25 poll for the first time in program history. So I go in depth on what makes this team special and why they can win it all come March/April. I then dive into the putrid play of the Memphis Tigers and what they need to do in order to turn their season around, make the NCAA Tournament and save Penny Hardaway's job. Tap in ‼️

The ACC is historically BAD and it's super sad to see because the Conference used to be the best of the best at the Division 1 level. So on today's episode I take a look at the conference and why it's in its current state and the few teams that are giving it a good look. Tap in ‼️

Last week was a great week for college hoops filled with upsets of top ten teams and a juggernaut of a battle between Duke and Gonzaga where the Blue Devils came out on top in a statement victory. In the 2021 Gavitt games the Big East dominated the Big Ten winning 6 games to 2 this past week. So I recap what all went down from Seton Hall beating Michigan in Ann Arbor to Shaka Smart and Marquette beating a top 10 Illinois team without Kofi Cockburn. Tap in !
