It's Friday afternoon, which means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio is ready to massage your eardrums with an hour of off-season Oilers talk. On today's podcast, the fellas discussed Darnell Nurse trade rumours, where he might end up, the incoming Mike Babcock press conference, line combinations, and more.We kicked off the Friday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about Mike Babcock becoming the Oilers' next head coach, and whether there's anything he can do to win over the Oilers fans who are not at all happy about the decision. Given the Oilers are making this decision not caring about the fanbase's opinion, there's little doubt that the noise surrounding this decision will be incredibly loud. That led the boys to wonder what kinds of questions the media will be asking about the situation and what to expect going forward. Shifting gears, the guys continued on with another round of Darnell Nurse trade talk. The boys had David Pagnotta on Oilersnation Everyday on Friday afternoon, and he pitched a couple of ideas on what a Nurse deal might look like. The options seem to be that the Oilers either hold some salary for a better return, or accept a lesser trade to clear out every dollar. Is there a scenario where Edmonton can actually make a hockey trade? Finally, we wrapped up the Friday episode of ONR with another round of betting talk, Ask the Idiots questions, and Hot and Cold Performers to wrap up the week. The guys also discussed the Stanley Cup Final, the Hurricanes winning it all, and how the entire office is bought in on the World Cup. While the Nation HQ staff may not know what's going on very often, that hasn't stopped the squad from getting excited anyway.
In Hour 3 we were joined by Liam Horrobin from Oilersnation and heard today's edition of Cam & Eggs. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

It's Tuesday afternoon, and there's a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio set, which means the boys were back in the studio to recap the week that was. On today's episode, the guys discussed the Oilers' potential playoff matchups, injury updates, the final regular-season game against Vancouver, and much more.We kicked off the Tuesday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about which of the five potential playoff opponents the boys would rather face in Round 1. Given the list of potential opponents, features Colorado, Anaheim, Utah, Vegas, and Los Angeles, there is a case to be made for any of those teams being the best starting point. But as you'll hear, the boys really didn't have a consensus on where they would want Edmonton to start. Changing gears, the guys discussed what the schedule might look like for Round 1 and took a few guesses on whether the Oilers will start on Saturday, Sunday, or even Monday. Given that the NHL likes to split up the Canadian teams as best they can, the question is whether the Oilers kick off their run on the weekend or have to wait until Monday. Finally, we wrapped up the episode of ONR with another round of Baggedmilk's Trivia and Tenable. With Liam's game uniting the fellas for one common goal, the guys put their brains together to try to check off all of the items on the list. Think you know all the answers to Liam's Tenable game?
