We can hardly contain our excitement as we get to return to the old stomping ground, The Royal Adelaide Show! This year we return to the RAS for the first time in 4 years! We were LIVE on the Goyder Stage across Tuesday and Wednesday (September 5 & 6) looking at some of the years gone by at the Royal Adelaide Show! Joined by Shane Wilson for a chat on Tuesday, we talked about some of the main arena acts and events that used to be highlights of the show from the early days. On Wednesday we were joined by Isla-Cate who has attended the Royal Show every year since she was born. Now at 13, she shared some of her favourite show experiences with us from a millennial perspective. Children in Murray Bridge have won the Royal Adelaide Show Scarecrow Making Competition for a second year in a row. Fraser Park Preschoollers have won 2022 Best Scarecrow in Show for their Costa Georgiadis scarecrow and the year 2/3/4 class won a prize for their spectacular Mr Shark scarecrow. Teacher Bec Phillips joins Jennie Lenman in this podcast to talk about it. The scarecrows are at the Goyder Pavillion at the Royal Adelaide Show until the show closes on Sunday night. Then they will be transported to the Murray Bridge Show on September 23 and 24.
