Chad's got a new truck, a new boat, and a lot on his mind. The 2026 Ford F-250 Super Duty is built out and beautiful — Avalanche Gray, Bodyguard bumpers, Mickey Thompson tires, Lear topper, the works. Thank you Corning Ford. Now that that's out of the way, Chad goes somewhere unexpected. Black Springs. Growing up poor. Brown bag lunches with cold spaghetti between two pieces of generic wheat bread. Riding bikes until dark. Breakdancing with J.J. and Marcus and Corey on a piece of graffitied cardboard. A nail through the foot. A wood-burning stove. Government cheese. A mom working graveyard shifts at the Veterans Hospital in oncology while going to nursing school and still making it to every game. He talks about what that upbringing gave him. From humility, to discipline, faith, the fear of God, and what it means to be 51 years old, in the best shape of his life, doing exactly what he was put on earth to do. He talks about his dad. Twenty years this August. He's still talking to him. TChad doesn't have it all figured out. He'll be the first to tell you. But he knows where he came from and he's not ashamed of any of it. This Life Ain't For Everybody. This one especially. Joe and Taylor kick off coverage of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 11 with Episode 1, “Breakdancing 2: Electric Rugaloo,” and before they even get to the queens, the conversation somehow spirals into Disney popcorn buckets, haunted mansion drink sippers, and the psychology of eating popcorn alone at Disneyland while holding collectible toys. It's the kind of chaos you've come to expect. Once the episode discussion begins, Joe and Taylor break down the entire Orange Bracket premiere cast including Morphine Love Dion, Dawn, Morgan McMichaels, A'Keria C. Davenport, Lucky Starzzz, and Mystique Summers Madison. They discuss which queens already feel like real contenders, which queens may be struggling to adapt to modern Drag Race, and whether some returning contestants were brought back for redemption… or nostalgia. The duo also dives deep into: Whether Morgan McMichaels is quietly producing good television in real time Why Dawn's elevated drag package still doesn't stop Joe from distrusting her The strange energy surrounding Mystique Summers Madison's return Whether Morphine deserved a Top 2 placement The awkwardness of the choreography rehearsal segment Why the episode itself feels oddly tension-free despite obvious shade La Toya Jackson as a guest judge and the lost art of 80s camp celebrity Whether the “Tournament of All Stars” format is helping or hurting the show Plus: Joe theorizes that Disney adults are funding a black market popcorn bucket economy Taylor explains why taking a season off from Drag Race may actually improve your viewing experience An unexpected sidebar about cigarette smoke aging drag queens And Joe nearly launches a conspiracy theory about production timelines before immediately disproving it himself At the end, Joe and Taylor debate whether the right queens landed in the Top 2, whether Morgan truly won the lip sync fairly, and pitch an entirely different All Stars bracket format that might solve one of the franchise's growing problems. What starts as a normal episode quickly turns into one of those conversations that goes completely off the rails—in the best way possible. In this episode of The After Show But Later, Daniel and Luis Cortez Jr. bounce between topics like only they can, somehow connecting everything from the legacy of The Crow and the tragic story of Brandon Lee, to wrestling history, street culture, and everyday life experiences. It's the kind of episode where you come for one topic… and stay for ten others you didn't expect. The conversation dives into how Sting built his iconic persona inspired by The Crow, and how pop culture moments like that shape entire generations. From there, it spirals into real-life experiences growing up around graffiti, tagging, and creative expression—sharing personal stories, sketchbooks, and memories that highlight how deeply culture influences identity. But this isn't just nostalgia. The episode also mixes in hilarious, relatable moments—from breaking down the difference between “barrio” vs “varrio,” to debating random everyday topics like washing hats (and why most people are doing it wrong). It's that blend of humor, storytelling, and unpredictability that makes this show what it is.If you've ever had a conversation with your friends that somehow jumps from serious topics to completely random debates—and still makes perfect sense—this episode is exactly that energy.⏱️ Chapters00:00 Intro – Patreon, live vs future viewers01:30 Why this episode isn't live (and how to fix that)03:00 The Crow legacy & Brandon Lee story06:30 Wrestling connection – Sting's iconic transformation10:20 Wild transition… vasectomy talk

01. How Did Timothée Get the Name “Sweet Tea” ? 他还被奥斯卡提名了(nominated for an Oscar)。 (Chinese fans are so creative with names)。02. What Did Timothée Do During His China Trip? 霉豆腐和豆腐乳(fermented tofu)不太一样,它是白色的,上面还有一层白色的霉菌(it has a layer of white mold on top)。 但是,未经允许的涂鸦是违法的(unauthorized graffiti is illegal),可能会被罚款(get fined),甚至被逮捕(even arrested)。 霹雳舞是街舞(street dance)的一种,它还作为新项目第一次在2024年巴黎奥运会上亮相(breaking was in the 2024 Paris Olympics)。 所以,甜茶这次来中国,既体验了美食文化,也感受了社区文化(he experienced both food and community culture)。

This episode of "Seeing Them Live" features Eric Vollweiler, a seasoned producer, marketing consultant, and strategist in the film, festival, and entertainment industry with nearly two decades of experience. Charles explores Eric's journey from his early concert experiences to his current work helping festivals and creators connect with audiences, sponsors, and industry partners, including major festivals like Sundance, Cannes, and Toronto. Eric's passion for live entertainment was shaped early—his mother took him to his first concert at age 14, seeing Aerosmith with Black Crows at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center. He also attended a massive Grateful Dead and Crosby, Stills & Nash show that drew 70,000 people. After high school, Eric moved to New York City in 1996, working at legendary nightclubs like the China Club and the Tunnel under mentor Michael James. During this time, he even worked alongside a young Mark Sinclair—now known as Vin Diesel—at an elite catering company. His nightclub experience ended when he broke his wrist breakdancing at the Tunnel, prompting him to move back upstate for college. Eric's festival career began in 2001 when he volunteered at Sundance, eventually co-producing seven events there. A memorable highlight was sneaking into a Beastie Boys performance at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival. He recently launched the Vollweiler Agency, which provides comprehensive services to festivals including sponsorship acquisition, advertising, and social media strategy. Currently, he's working on the 11th annual Hip Hop Film Festival in New York City, which focuses on hip-hop culture through the lens of filmmaking. At the heart of his work is a commitment to filmmakers and providing opportunities for the next generation, guided by his philosophy: "Never ask the CEO for a job, but ask him to learn" and "the humbler you are, the better you'll be in life." We imagine breakdancing at the 1936 Olympics and if it could have changed historyIn this episode, we take a silly, sarcastic look at what might have happened if breakdancing had been part of the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Could a viral sensation like Ray Gun from the 2024 Olympics have inspired world peace and even made Hitler rethink his ways before World War II?We explore the idea with tongue-in-cheek humor, imagining Olympic judges awarding medals for headspins, windmills, and popping moves while the world watched in awe. Could breakdancers have used the universal language of dance to unite nations, or at least confuse the heck out of history books?Beyond laughs, we also reflect on how sports and performance can impact culture, even in absurd “what if” scenarios. Whether you love history, the Olympics, or over-the-top hypotheticals, this episode is a fun mix of imagination, comedy, and creative storytelling.Check out my work at https://www.cleveland.com/staff/cpugh/ and support the podcast at https://cash.app/$chrispugh3Grab a 2026 Topps Baseball Series 1 Factory Sealed Mega Box here:https://www.fanatics.com/mlb/mlb-merchandise/trading-cards/2026-topps-baseball-series-1-factory-sealed-mega-box/o-2309+t-81002141+d-017450348+f-283047133+z-9-4014397671?irclickid=3jBWaF05pxyZWGi0isRWd0EjUkux5cQ3018yUo0&irgwc=1&afsrc=1&_s=afl_impact&utm_source=Impact&utm_medium=affiliates&SSAID=5163860#Breakdancing, #Olympics1936, #RayGun, #ViralBreakdancer, #HistoricalWhatIf, #ComedyPodcast, #Olympics, #Berlin1936, #DanceCulture, #ChrisPugh, #YouTubePodcast, #FunnyHistory, #DanceHypothetical, #PopCulture, #SportsPodcast, #ToppsBaseball, #CreativeStorytelling, #HistoricalComedy, #OlympicFun, #ViralMoments

King Charles III and Prince Harry met for tea after not seeing each other in over a year. Anna and Raven read a transcript of the conversation (with their best British accents)! Gen Z is quitting their jobs because going to the bathroom at work scares them! Anna and Raven ask Producer Julie if this is a real thing! Are you up to date on this week's biggest news story? Anna and Raven will get you caught up on the trending news including Nate Bargagatze to host the Emmy's, and the reason why your Amazon orders are in the water! Anna realized that she had been booking appointments for her 16-year-old daughter and 6-year-old daughter together. Like every appointment. Her older daughter, Hayden, told Anna it has to stop. Anna's daughter had severe nut reaction due to cross-contamination at a restaurant and it landed them in the ER all night. She's doing great now but what landed you in the ER? Will Thilly is running for a position on the Cranford Township Committee. He's gone viral for his unique form of breakdancing during town meetings! Anna and Raven want to know why he chose silent breakdancing! You can find him at https://willthilly.com/. Every week Anna and Raven invite a middle school student to participate in Middle Schooler News! They report the headline news and Anna and Raven comment on it! This week Lainey joins the show! Anna says for all you do, and all you put up with this week, you've earned yourself a drink. What did you do to earn your Mommy Margarita? Amanda's arm is in a cast, she broke her arm. She's finally going back to work next week, and she mentioned that she can't wait to get all her co-workers to sign her cast. Her husband, Harold, thinks it's ridiculous, she's an adult, it'll look dirty and unprofessional. She works in a corporate setting, not a preschool! Do you think it matters if she gets it autographed by coworkers? Vanessa and Ari have a chance to win $5900! All they have to do is answer more pop culture questions than Raven in Can't Beat Raven!

This week, Julianne Hough joins Nikki & Artem to talk about her world away from the dance floor, her personal transformation, breakdancing at the Olympics, and her new book “Everything We Never Knew.” To kick things off, Nikki & Artem open up with his reaction to doing Savor in Chicago, his crossroads as he contemplates life after professional dancing, and Nikki ponders how things in her life would be different if she were allowed to try out for school plays as a kid.  Then Julianne Hough joins the conversation. From dance to acting to music and writing, she defies labels as she uniquely chronicles her awakening. She tells Nikki & Artem all about some tough times that guided her to a rebirth of her energy and purpose in all aspects of her life. Now, that revival is causing a metamorphosis of gratitude and personal development in the world around her.  This conversation is so important to Julianne that she declines a call from her brother Derek in the middle of the interview so that she can lock into Nikki & Artem as they talk about helping others redefine themselves, which is a process that Artem himself is going through and realizing that Dancing with the Stars isn't just about scores on the dance floor, but emotional and spiritual evolution.  To close out the conversation, Julianne also has a very strong reaction to dance finally being in the Olympics, the response to Australian breakdancer RayGun going viral for all the wrong reasons, and her hope for ballroom dancing to get a shot in the 2028 games in Los Angeles.  Follow Julianne on Instagram Order Julianne's new book Everything We Never Knew     Call Nikki & Brie at 833-GARCIA2 and leave a voicemail! Paris Olympics are done, Denard Robinson's cop cam, Justin Bieber heckled, Eli Zaret stops in, Corey Feldman visits a medium, Drew Crime, bands with no original members, and Frankie Valli is morphing into an animatronic puppet. Paris 2024: Breakdancing captivated the Olympics for its pure stupidity. The butts were on full display in the Artistic Swimming event. Olympics are done… back to twerking on OnlyFans. Johnny Weir looked perfectly ridiculous. Tom Cruise made the closing ceremonies all about him. The USA dominates Basketball. Eli Zaret drops by to praise LeBron James, name-drop Mike Tirico, the NBA's massive new sports streaming deal, comment on Donald Trump's crowd obsession, cover the latest Jim Harbaugh nonsense, Michigan's middle finger back to the NCAA, the Wolverines low standing in the first AP college football rankings, MSU's rough schedule, boring Detroit Lions preseason games, quarterback contracts to come, the terrible Detroit Tigers and more. We watch the cop cam footage of former University of Michigan QB Denard Robinson's OWI. Jake Paul looks like he's on steroids. A new movie about Saturday Night Live is on the way and will be released October 11th. Nelly is 50 years old and still taking ecstasy. We only know this because he hit a slot machine jackpot. Frankie Valli is 90 and still singing… depending on how you define singing. There are many bands performing today with no original members. Molly Hatchet sucks live. Iron Butterfly is not much better. Kevin Bacon really wants you to look at his hair. Is Kevin Bacon hot? He certainly thinks he's a smoke show. Corey Feldman saw medium Tyler Henry and his mind was blown. Fred Durst confirmed the Corey solos are legit, but they are still atrocious. Amanda Bynes looks terrible these days. Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are making a movie about Hulk Hogan suing Gawker. Murderer Gypsy Rose Blanchard is going to have a baby and it's a girl! Justin Bieber is an old man being heckled by kids now. Britney Spears played with 1/3 of Paul Soliz's children. She's currently beefing with Blake Lively. Elijah Wood was in town and probably thinks he's hot too. Drew Crime: The crimes of Linda Cooney. The Samantha Woll alleged murderer will not be tried again. Murder charges were finally filed against a man that had a relationship with a Detroit neurosurgeon that was found dead in his house rolled up in a carpet. David Copperfield sued for trashing penthouse. There a few things funnier that a leaky pool in a city high-rise. Politics: Kamala Harris is on the rise! Joe Biden did an interview and nobody noticed. Debates are on the way. Even Time Magazine couldn't land an interview with Kamala. Will the Olympics break breakdancing?

For some sports, picking the winner is simple: It's the athlete who crosses the finish line first, or the side that scores the most goals. But for the new Olympic sport of breaking (if you want to be cool, don't call it breakdancing), the criteria aren't quite that straightforward. How do you judge an event whose core values are dopeness, freshness, and breaking the rules? That was the challenge for Storm and Renegade, two legendary b-boys who set out to create a fair and objective scoring system for a dance they say is more of an art than a sport. Over the years, their journey to define the soul of breaking led them to meetings with Olympics bigwigs, debates over the science of dopeness, and a battle with a question many sports — from figure skating to gymnastics — have tried to answer: Can art and sport coexist? This episode was hosted by Jeff Guo and Alexi Horowitz-Ghazi. It was produced by Emma Peaslee and edited by Jenny Lawton. It was fact checked by Sierra Juarez and engineered by Valentina Rodríguez Sánchez with help from James Willets and Cena Loffredo. Alex Goldmark is Planet Money's executive producer.
