Are you living for God part-time? In today's message from 1 Kings 18, Jaime challenges us to take an honest look at where our devotion truly lies. Elijah asked the people of Israel, “How long will you falter between two opinions?” They knew who God was, yet their hearts and lives were divided. This episode explores: • Why we struggle to trust and follow God with our whole heart • How modern believers can unknowingly fall into idolatry • The difference between striving for empty sources of fulfillment and resting in the One true God • What it means to rebuild the altar of the Lord in your own life • How God responds when we call on Him with sincerity and faith The false gods of this world demand everything and give nothing in return. But the living God responds in power when we turn fully toward Him. Today is an invitation to move out of lukewarm living and into a deeper, mature walk of obedience and relationship. Mark 14:1-9 Scott Julian teaching. Mark chapter 14 highlights the theme of extravagant love through the story of Mary, who anoints Jesus with costly perfume. While religious leaders plot against Jesus during Passover, Mary's act of devotion draws criticism. Jesus defends her, emphasizing the beauty of her worship. This narrative serves as a legacy that inspires others to dedicate their lives to Christ, culminating in a call to come to Him in faith.

As we give ourselves to God, our life and work flows out as sacrificial labor as we strain to produce good things for others. This brings us back to the idea that we, the ones creating value for customers, are in a position of givers. We give of our time, strength, ideas, resources, and skills. And our work to produce value for our customer through a Disciplined Offering has eternal ramifications. There is a transcendent moral good in our physical labor. Kaizen is more than Continuous Improvement.Kaizen is Disciplined Offering.

How does Messiah Yeshua — Christ Jesus — relate to the biblical sacrificial system? Did He replace it or reveal its deeper spiritual meaning? If God established temple sacrifices, why would they no longer be necessary? So what eternal purpose did they serve? These are the questions we'll be tackling in this short study.
As we delve into Matthew 26, we witness the profound contrast between human scheming and divine love. While religious leaders plot Jesus' demise, we see a beautiful act of devotion unfold in Bethany. Mary's sacrificial anointing of Jesus with expensive perfume teaches us the true nature of worship - giving our best to God without reservation. This story challenges us to examine our hearts: Are we fully devoted to Christ, or do we hold back? Just as the perfume's aroma likely lingered with Jesus through His suffering, our acts of worship can sustain us in difficult times. Let's consider how we can pour out our lives as a fragrant offering to God, trusting that He values our devotion even when others may not understand.#SundaySermon #Worship #JesusFirst#Jesus#Crucifixion#Passover#Worship#Devotion#Forgiveness#Anointing#Sacrifice#Mary#Disciples#Betrayal#Judas#HolySpirit#Communion#Repentance#GospelOfMatthew#Alabaster#Perfume#Spikenard#Love

Does how we worship actually matter? The PEAs discuss the importance of worship with vulnerability to how we tend to worship. They discuss ways on how to invite God into your everyday activities and going into worship with your eyes set on Jesus.
We are in week two in our worship series out of Romans 12:1-2. This week we will tackle the concept of sacrificial worship. We will see the truth behind worship that is “living” “holy” and “sacrificial.” We will be encouraging one another to be willing and active in our participation in worship…and maybe in a way that stretches us beyond our comfort zone. As King David once said, “I'm not going to offer God, my God, sacrifices that are no sacrifice.” Senior Pastor - Chuck Angel
Pastor David releases a teaching about Fragrant Worship!"If you want to live a life of love, you will always offer a sacrifice that is pleasing to Him.""The preparation of your fragrance will show how much you love Him.""Sacrificial Worship will release a fragrance that will get his attention."
In this sermon, we will see that Jesus deserves sacrificial worship.

Our love and worship of Jesus will be sacrificial and costly, but worth it.
God wants us to spend quality time with Him. Have you found that you’re missing His presence? Try making time for God and show Him what you’re willing to sacrifice to be with Him.
Elizabeth has had the gift to sing from a very young age, and even received a word about being a worship leader. What happens when you have to lay your time-line of being a worship leader on the alter, and wait for God's timing? A whole lot of growth! Come take a journey as Elizabeth unpacks all the goodness the Lord is teaching her in her appointed season.

•Jesus CLAIMS to be the Messiah and God. •The people ACCEPT him—superficially. •Jesus TESTS them—sacrificially. •The people REJECT him.
Love God and Love Neighbor this is everything. This love is manifest thru worship. Worship is the offering of sacrifice which we associate with the direct worship of God but may not realize that the sacrificial deeds we do on the behalf of our neighbor are accounted as sacrifices offered to God and they are pleasing and acceptable to Him. Our good deeds, our love of neighbor are part of our worship of God.

"Sacrificial Worship" (John 12:1-11)
Sacrificial worship is an act of spiritual warfare, as we declare Jesus is King and no one or nothing else is. Romans 12:1; 2 Chronicles 20:1-25; Ephesians 6:11-12; 1 Corinthians 10:3-4; 2 Timothy 2:22; 1 Peter 1:13-16; Colossians 3:23-24; Ephesians 5:15-17; Colossians 4:5; Hebrews 10:25; Luke 12:15; Matthew 6:19-21; Matthew 6:24
The Big Idea Sacrificial Grace leads to Sacrificial Worship.
We were made to worship so God desires active participants, not passive consumers. Romans 12:1; Genesis 4:1-5; Romans 1:21-25; 1 Corinthians 14:26; Hebrews 10:19-25; 1 Corinthians 14:26-33; 1 Peter 4:10-11; Ephesians 5:18-19; Psalm 95:1-7

Worship-The Missing Jewel of the Church
An Apple For Today is a daily word of encouragement by Pastor and Author LaVoy Newton.
Pastor John shares insight in the anointment of Jesus' feet at the home of Mary and Martha.
"The Offering of Sacrificial Worship" is the second message in a series of sermons about our worship to God. Pastor Jerry discusses why we must sacrifice everything when we are worshiping The Lord. It begins with a change in attitude and results in a change of altitude. Sacrificial worship brings freedom! Yokes are broken and heaviness is lifted! Wouldn't you like to experience those things? You can by offering all of yourself in giving Him prasie!
If you had to describe what real, genuine, worship looked like; what words would you use? kneeling? standing? hands raised? crying? reverent? shouting? singing? It is a trick question. Worship is not about the expressions we use but rather a matter of the heart. Those words describe the ways we express our worship and really don't indicate the heart of the worshiper. Too often, we get caught up in the "how's" of worship and argue and debate which way or expressions are "more genuine" or "spiritual" and neglect the "why's of worship". Join us this morning as we examine the lives of two very different people who had an opportunity to worship and how they responded, but more importantly, why they responed the way they did. That is where our Faith comes in. Based on Luke 7:36-50.
