I can't recall if I got to shake his hand when he came to Columbia's Graduate School of Journalism in 1993 to lecture but I was there soaking in the wisdom. This party was actually for the launch of footwear produced by Run from Run-DMC. Mr. Ashe's wife Jean was in attendance and this set pretty much was for her.
