Dr. Ben Schilaty, a social work professor and therapist, explains the Six Stages of Coming Out (first observed by Dr. Vivienne Cass in the 1970's). We explore both the experiences of LGBT+ spouses progressing through these stages, along with the corresponding experiences of straight spouses at each stage. Ransom'79 is a film about a ransom demand on the Irish Government that has been kept secret for more than 40 years. It is the late Charlie Bird's last story as a journalist. Starring alongside Charlie is journalist and playwright Colin Murphy.

The death was announced yesterday of broadcaster and journalist Charlie Bird. The former RTÉ chief news correspondent, who was 74 when he died, was diagnosed with motor neuron disease in 2021.One of Ireland's best-known journalists, he reported on of the biggest stories in Ireland and around the world through the 1980s, 1990s and into the 2000s.However, in many ways, it was Charlie Bird's final years, following his MND diagnosis, that perhaps will leave the greatest mark on this country.Today, on In the News, Irish Times Ireland and Britain editor Mark Hennessy reflects on Charlie Bird's four-decade long journalistic career and the advocacy work and campaigning which defined his final years. Hailing from Lake Placid, NY, Grant Reynolds realized it was easier to pursue a career in wine than ski-jumping. After college in Boulder, he wound up in the greatest wine incubator at Bobby Stuckey' Frasca. He went on to work in Burgundy, Piedmont, and Noma, before settling in NYC to open Charlie Bird as wine director and partner, later opening Parcelle Wine. Grant, is a true entrepreneur and believer of wine and e-commerce. He recently opened a new restaurant near Parcelle called Tolo. Every Pride Month, the ideology of identitarianism encroaches further into Latter-day Saint culture. Charlie Bird's decision to marry his boyfriend brings many of the problems and confusion on this topic into focus. Pride Month lifts lesser identities above being a Child of God. The Brethren have given some clear guidance on the conflict between the gospel and these pernicious ideologies, such as identitarianism and intersectionality, but you must look for it. For this reason, there is a lot of confusion among the members of the church. Latter-day Saint influencers, including some very popular ones, are not willing to talk about the First Great Commandment and instead go directly to the Second Great Commandment.
