This is message 13 in Understanding the Love of God Hebrews 12:4-13 God's correction is not a sign of rejection but one of the clearest evidences of His love and our place in His family. A loving Father refuses to leave His children is sin, rebellion, or spiritual immaturity, and HIs discipline is always designed to restore, strengthen, and guide us back into close fellowship with Him. Though correction is rarely pleasant in the moment, it produces holiness, wisdom, and the peaceable fruit of righteousness in those who receive it with humility. Rather than resisting His hand, believers can find comfort in knowing that every act of chastening flows from the heart of a Father who delights in His children and is committed to their growth. Success in your calling requires spiritual maturity. This means we are no longer allowing our sinful nature to control us. If you are unsure whether you are spiritually mature, signs of immaturity include being jealous of one another and quarreling with each other. For example, this may show up as continuously arguing with your spouse. If you are an employee, it may appear as jealousy toward coworkers and anger toward your boss. If you are an entrepreneur, you may compare your success to that of others. If these signs are present in your life, then you are spiritually immature, which is hindering the success of your calling. __________ 1 Corinthians 3:1-5 NLT __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

Judas holds a dark place in the Bible story, with the gospel writers consistently referring to him as the one who betrayed the Lord. Though deeply villainous, the outcome of this wayward apostle's life teaches important principles about how one can forfeit a great gift with tragic consequences. This sermon will explore how the actions of this apostle serve as warning signs for any child of God who is not growing spiritually as he or she should. A sermon given by Greg Chandler on November 23, 2025.
Hebrews 5:11-6:12 Many believers spiritually stagnate, unable to grow beyond the basic, foundational aspects of their faith. How does a believer break through and grow?

In today's devotional study, we focus on the importance of Christ as the only foundation of our faith. Paul warns against spiritual immaturity and urges believers to build their lives on Jesus, not on human leaders, traditions, or temporary things that will not last. Everything we do will be tested by fire, revealing whether our works are built on gold, silver, and costly stones (Spirit-led works) or wood, hay, and straw (temporary, fleshly efforts).Spiritual Immaturity & Growth – Moving beyond divisions and learning to build on Christ.Christ as the Only True Foundation – Recognizing Jesus as the cornerstone of our faith (Psalm 118:22, Matthew 21:42).The Testing of Our Works – Everything we do will be tested by fire to reveal its eternal value (1 Corinthians 3:12-15, Malachi 3:2-3).Biblical Examples – Job's endurance (Job 23:10), the Rich Young Ruler's misplaced priorities (Matthew 19:16-22), and Abraham's faith test (Genesis 22:1-14).
