Defiants have gotten quite a bit of press in the last year and CanardCast is continuing that trend as Terry interviews Vernon Asper, builder and owner of the Lycoming equipped Defiant N22VL based at KDKX in Knoxville. I met with Vernon last October at the Hangar Hotel in Fredericksburg, Texas as part of a gathering of Defiants. He had flown N22VL in to meet with five other Defiants we cobbled together in an attempt to break the known record of seven Defiants in one location set back in the early 1990's. At that event Vernon and I also joined a small party on a short ground excursion to the location of the Mooney Aircraft Factory location in nearby Kerville, Texas. Born and raised in PA, Vernon later moved to both Hawaii and to Massachusetts to attend school then on to Mississippi to serve in his career an oceanographer. He has spent more than 1300 days at sea all over the world, including 20 trips to Antarctica and dives in 3 different submersibles.Vernon is well versed in academics holding the trifecta of a Bachelors from Messiah College of PA, a Masters from the University of Hawaii and Ph.D from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution.Vernon's first introduction to flight was in Hawaii in 1979 and he began taking flight lessons in MA in 1980 where he earned is private pilot license. He pretty much only flies his Defiant except when a flight review instructor demands that he uses a school plane since his Defiant doesn't have rudder pedals on the starboard side. Vernon married in 1977 to Lindell who earned her license in 1984. He has two Daughters and four granddaughters. Alicia with granddaughters Daphne and Penelope live in Belgium and Jennifer with granddaughters Maddie and Grayson who live in Knoxville, TN. Enjoy the interview!

Now in year three of my Pride Month Feature coverage on the show, I'm more excited than I've ever been about shining a light onto the diversity of projects representing queer focused characters and getting to chat with the creators who make them. For myself, Pride this year feels like a more somber affair as the current administration seeks to not only suppress the struggle of the queer community but also to attempt to eliminate their history and in the most extreme cases, invalidating that certain people even have the right to exist but instead of getting down about it, let's flip the script so it is my pleasure to host comic creators Alex L. Combs and Andrew Eakett to talk about their engaging new graphic novel out now Trans History: From Ancient Times to the Present Day from Candlewick Press. I encourage everyone to pick up Trans History: From Ancient Times to the Present Day and to approach it with an open and curious mind. I went into it not knowing exactly what to expect and came out with a much more rounded historical perspective and love the use of a comics formatting to make what many consider a drier subject matter with history in general, far more engaging. Buy it direct from Candlewood Press. Deeply researched, highly readable, and featuring a broad range of voices. What does “trans” mean, and what does it mean to be trans? Diversity in human sex and gender is not a modern phenomenon, as readers will discover through illustrated stories and records that introduce historical figures ranging from the controversial Roman emperor Elagabalus to the swashbuckling seventeenth-century conquistador Antonio de Erauso to veterans of the Stonewall uprising Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera. In addition to these individual profiles, the book explores some of the societal roles played by trans people beginning in ancient times and shows how European ideas about gender were spread across the globe. It explains how the science of sexology and the growing acceptance of (and backlash to) gender nonconformity have helped to shape what it means to be trans today. Illustrated conversations with modern activists, scholars, and creatives highlight the breadth of current trans experiences and give readers a deeper sense of the diversity of trans people, a group numbering in the millions. Extensive source notes provide further resources. Moving, funny, heartbreaking, and empowering, this remarkable compendium from trans creators Alex L. In Episode 108 of Culture of Change, Ashe in America and Abbey Blue Eyes are joined by special guest Mike Lindell for a wide-ranging conversation about the spiritual battle behind today's headlines. The episode opens with a powerful reflection on divine timing and the endurance required to walk in obedience through long seasons of preparation. The trio dives into the biblical concept of the Group of Seven, God-ordained agents of restoration, and how Lindell's mission to expose election corruption fits into a broader spiritual awakening. They explore what it means to build a Golden Age, the necessity of rest as a spiritual discipline, and how personal conviction becomes a public calling. With humor, testimony, and prophetic clarity, this episode invites listeners to stay rooted in faith, even as the world shakes, and to embrace their own role in the divine plan unfolding.
In this jam-packed episode of The Daily Herold, Jon Herold sits down with Congressman Kevin Kiley for a wide-ranging interview covering California's defiance of federal immigration policy, the legal battles surrounding sanctuary status, and the path forward for Trump's SAVE Act. Kiley offers sharp insight into election integrity challenges in California, the risks of dual citizenship in Congress, and how Trump is methodically deconstructing the DC swamp from within. After the interview, Herold pivots to major global and domestic headlines: Israel's escalating conflict with Iran and its potential ripple effects, Trump's peace-through-strength strategy, and regime narratives collapsing under the weight of coordinated lawfare and media failures. He also revisits the latest developments from the Lindell v. Coomer trial, featuring key updates reported by Ashe in America, and exposes potential deep-state false flag setups designed to manipulate public opinion. With sharp analysis, insider perspective, and no-nonsense breakdowns, this episode captures the battle for power and truth unfolding across every front.
In Episode 363 of Devolution Power Hour, Jon Herold and Chris Paul are joined by Ashe in America for a wide-ranging breakdown of the collapsing regime narrative across legal, media, and political fronts. Ashe opens with a critical update from inside the Lindell v. Coomer trial, revealing how bombshell evidence and legal gamesmanship are being ignored by corporate media. From there, the trio explores Trump's calculated moves in Los Angeles, framing ICE raids and National Guard deployment as part of a broader psychological and informational operation meant to bait and expose the opposition. They connect the dots between crumbling confidence in Kamala Harris, Gavin Newsom's legal quagmire, Elon Musk's disruptive positioning, and the public's growing refusal to swallow manufactured outrage. With sharp commentary on lawfare, drops, public perception, and the spiritual undercurrent of the moment, this episode paints a clear picture: the regime's playbook is wearing thin, and the counteroffensive is well underway.
In Episode 125 of The Liberty Den, a raucous crew of Badlands Media hosts dive into the chaos of the week with their signature unfiltered flair. Kicking things off, Ashe in America calls in with an on-the-ground update from the Lindell v. Coomer trial, detailing dramatic courtroom moments, shifting narratives, and what the media won't report about the case's implications for election integrity. From there, the conversation erupts into the fallout over Trump's ICE raids in Los Angeles, Kamala Harris's Juneteenth optics disaster, and Simone Biles' unexpected cameo in the culture war. The hosts debate whether the unrest in L.A. is a spontaneous crisis or a carefully set trap, while also unpacking RFK Jr.'s latest moves, viral psyops, and the slow implosion of institutional credibility. It's a full-spectrum freedom brawl, served up with fire, humor, and zero filter, classic Liberty Den.
What happens when you move from knowing about God to knowing His ways? In this message, Pastor John Lindell explores how Moses developed a deep friendship with God by spending time in His presence. When you know God's ways, it leads to friendship, favor, and the faith to boldly ask for big things.
What happens when you open the door to spiritual darkness? Our prayer is that you'll be stirred to seek God and discover the grace and freedom that is found in Jesus Christ.
How do you train yourself for godliness in a world full of distractions? In this message from 1 Timothy 4:7–8, we're reminded that spiritual growth doesn't happen by accident—it requires personal responsibility, consistent discipline, and a deep desire to walk closely with the Lord. Our prayer is that this message stirs a greater hunger in your heart to pursue the presence of God and live a life growing in godliness.
In the ongoing defamation trial of Mike Lindell, who accused Dominion Voting Systems employee Eric Coomer of personally conspiring to steal the 2020 election from Donald Trump, Lindell isn't bothering to argue that his claims were true. Instead he's saying he believed them at the time he said them. Is that a good defense?Plus: a federal appellate decision upholding an injunction against Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton's efforts to harass the pressure group Media Matters for America over its campaign against Elon Musk, an unsuccessful lawsuit against the University of Pennsylvania claiming the school fostered an anti-semitic environment, the Trump administration's odd dealings with the Harvard Law Review, and a look at a couple of articles about the ongoing fallout from the decisions by major law firms to settle with the Trump administration over its transparently illegal executive orders against them. We also have updates on ongoing litigation over Trump's tariffs, and a look at the seven-year sentence for 87-year-old disgraced lawyer Tom Girardi.Visit serioustrouble.show to find a transcript and sign up for our newsletter. We expose the evils hiding in darkness not to persecute, but to heal. Our silence can suppress fraud detection forever. You are not alone, plus, you're awake. Many people are not who they say they are. Here's how everyone got hoodwinked. Strategies are distractions. The ballot wasn't the fraud. They manage perception while avoiding the truth. Belief is nothing if you won't kneel to the algo's. The CIA funneled Lindell's money. While the theater burns, popcorn still gets sold. They sponsored the revolution, packaged it, and sold it back to us. They let you chase ballots to avoid looking at machine algos. The real warriors were never in the room. Mike Lindell is being tested. The machine grows stronger when it's unchallenged. Instinct is catching up to evidence. Under educated people are the worst. Orchestrated bad events are incoming. Controlled opposition is a pressure valve. Every new psyop is a death rattle of the system. They fear the quiet thinkers who are disobedient. This final act shows a lack of money, secrets and time. We're being pulled in all directions, by design. Being re-routed to irrelevance. Asking the right questions is huge. Don't be fooled. People are often trapped using emotional distractions dressed as deliverance.
Have you ever felt stuck in a cycle of spiritual déjà vu — repeating the same mistakes you promised you'd never make again? In this message, we see a powerful contrast in 1 Samuel 26: Saul in a cycle of sin and David choosing to grow in godliness. Our prayer for you is that you experience the freedom and victory that come from living a life fully surrendered to the Lord.
