Lessons at the Well by Susan H. Porter and Christ Heals That Which is Broken by Amy A. Wright. Two very important stories of healing in the Bible are about broken women. Sister Porter shares three lessons she is learning and invites the women of the Church to follow the Savior's teachings to be as salt, light, and leaven.
Nosotras podemos acudir al Salvador para recibir la fortaleza y sanación que nos permitirán hacer todo lo que se nos envió a hacer aquí.
Sister Porter's talk “Lessons at the Well” is a beautiful testimony of the power of the atonement of Jesus Christ. Here are some questions to ponder as you study: How does your knowledge of the enabling power of the atonement change your perspective of yourself? What power does this give you? How have you felt the priesthood power (the power of God) through your covenants? Sister Porter talks about salt, leaven, and light. How can you be “a pinch of salt, a spoonful of leaven, and a ray of light” in the lives of people around you? What is the Lord telling you? What questions do you want to study further? Questions?
