Wow, what can I say. My 3rd Burning Man was simply amazing and nothing short of magical! Connected with so many incredible souls from every corner of the globe, marveled at breathtaking art installations, witnessed a jaw-dropping fireworks show that left me in awe, and played one of the most unforgettable sets of my life on Friday night. Huge thanks to everyone who's been writing me positive feedback and to The Fluffy Cloud for inviting me back to their incredible stage.

My live recording from the Perspectives Digital showcase at Klunkerkranich during Berlin Dance Music Event 2024. BDME is a two-day electronic music festival that takes place in Berlin, often referred to as the electronic music capital of the world. The conference takes place during the day and features many of the key players, movers and shakers in the industry, while the night program features several top DJ's and producers from around the globe. BDME is a must-attend event for any fan of electronic music.

UK-based artist and DJ Four Candles, whose real name is Kris Brown, is recognized for his innovative approach to dance music that avoids fleeting trends. After working with industry legend Nick Muir, his artistic break came on Bedrock Records. Follow up productions found their way onto some of the most respected imprints, from Selador to Afterglow and Tenampa. His recent Balance release, ‘On the Fence' (featured below in Q+A), is one of the standout moments on the recent Balance presents Dave Seaman and Quivver compilation. It's a unique production rooted in the prog of yesteryear but with a contemporary twist: it's a sound borne from staying artistically true to oneself. On this excellent mix, Four Candles builds the energy with artisanal ease. Alongside tracks from Donato Dozzy, Spence Brown and Kamilo Sanclemente, you'll also find exceptional takes by Four Candles on tracks from Leftfield and Sasha. @fourcandlesmusic

This year's Burning Man received a record amount of rainfall (2-3 months worth of rain in 1 night) which led to historic flooding at Black Rock City. The muddy conditions made it nearly impossible for vehicles to enter or exit and festival-goers became trapped in the Nevada desert. Over 70,000 attendees were ordered to shelter-in-place at their camps and conserve food, water, and supplies. Due to the heavy rain, my performance on Friday was cancelled but thankfully The Fluffy Cloud was able to add me to their Saturday lineup alongside Vintage Culture, Sharam, Gioli & Assia, and more. Luckily a group of the most dedicated and hardcore Burners came down to lift our spirits and rave with us in the mud. A big THANK YOU to the Fluffer crew & family for making all of this possible and for helping me feel comfortable during this unprecedented disaster.

The Japanese Popstars are a Northern Irish electronic group consisting of Gary Curran and Gareth Donoghue.  One of the finest duo's to come from Derry, Northern ireland. They have played across the world with productions on John Digweed's Bedrock Records & support from some of the biggest names in techno.  They took a much needed break from music but they are back now, bigger better and stronger than ever. Coming back into the music scene after a 5 year break is difficult at that, but how do you do it in the middle of a world wide pandemic?
