Puis est arrivé eToro.En 2012, il publie l'un des premiers papiers sur la tokenisation d'actifs réels via Bitcoin.Il le poste sur BitcoinTalk, où un jeune adolescent du nom de Vitalik Buterin lui répond. Yoni le paie pour co-rédiger le papier, l'accueille dans les bureaux d'eToro, et le regarde partir construire Ethereum.Aujourd'hui, eToro gère 20 milliards de dollars d'actifs pour 50 millions d'utilisateurs, génère 870 millions de dollars de chiffre d'affaires et 320 millions de bénéfice.Puis est arrivé le 28 janvier.Yoni lance son premier agent OpenClaw. Première formule : des duos, formés pour six mois, où une personne migrante et une personne locale se voient régulièrement, explorent la ville, apprennent l'une de l'autre et tissent un réseau. Une petite action, mais un immense impact : briser l'isolement, casser les idées reçues, humaniser les histoires de chacun.Deuxième formule, plus collective : les ateliers, près de 400 par an ! Théâtre, danse, yoga… Mais l'un des vecteurs les plus puissants reste la cuisine. Car cuisiner ensemble, c'est beaucoup plus que préparer un repas : c'est raconter une enfance, transmettre un geste, offrir une madeleine de Proust. Les ateliers peuvent être animés par une personne locale ou une personne migrante, peu importe : la magie opère toujours, à partir du moment où les mains s'activent et où les odeurs s'élèvent. Maïssa Bey est née et vit en Algérie. Lauréate du prix des Libraires algériens en 2005 pour l'ensemble de son œuvre, elle est publiée aux éd. de L'Aube en France et aux éd. Barzakh en Algérie. Co-fondatrice des éditions Chèvre-feuille étoilée, elle y publie des textes courts, du théâtre et des nouvelles dans la revue Étoiles d'encre. À l'occasion du 31ème Maghreb des livres dont elle est la marraine, elle évoque une autre voix de la littérature algérienne, Assia Djebar. «… écrire à la première personne du singulier et de la singularité, corps nu et voix à peine déviée par le timbre étranger, rameute face à nous tous les dangers symboliques. Toute femme écrivant qui s'avance ainsi hardiment, prend le risque de voir combien son chemin est miné. » Assia Djebar se présente comme une femme écrivant dans cet extrait de Ces voix qui m'assiègent. Elle a fait très tôt irruption dans la vie de lectrice de Maïssa Bey qui lui a adressé son premier roman avec cette dédicace : À vous, Assia, qui m'avez ouvert les chemins de l'écriture.  Maïssa Bey nous livre dans ce recueil, son rapport intime à cette figure majeure de la littérature de langue française et montre combien son œuvre est liée à l'histoire et à l'évolution de la société en Algérie. Sous prétexte de fiction romanesque, Assia Djebar forçait les portes et les fenêtres aux volets clos des maisons en apparence silencieuses et repliées sur elles-mêmes, entrait et nous faisait entrer dans l'intime des femmes, de ces femmes reléguées, recluses, assignées à résidence depuis leur naissance ou presque. Elle disait leurs rêves bâillonnés, leurs désirs, leurs espoirs et leurs renoncements, mais elle disait aussi la volonté de certaines d'entre elles de franchir les seuils, de s'ouvrir au monde. (Présentation des éditions Chèvre-feuille étoilée) Elles sont 22 femmes écrivaines de langue française. Et en cette langue commune, langue maternelle pour certaines, langue marâtre pour d'autres – si l'on reprend l'expression d'Assia Djebar – c'est-à-dire autre que celle de la mère, langue choisie ou imposée par l'histoire, pas seulement leur histoire, mais celle de leur pays, elles nous livrent un bref fragment de leur vie, elles reviennent sur les lieux de leur enfance. Créé en 2017 et regroupant plus de 170 femmes, le Parlement des écrivaines francophones (PEF) a pour objectif de faire entendre la voix des autrices d'expression française sur le monde. Le PEF travaille également à faire reconnaître la place de l'écrivaine dans son pays, à réaffirmer son rôle dans le dialogue civilisationnel et à défendre les droits des femmes et des hommes partout où ils se trouvent attaqués. Après 10 ans de recherche académique en immuno-oncologie, elle occupe aujourd'hui le poste de Directrice Life Sciences au sein d'Opscidia, une startup spécialisée dans l'intelligence artificielle appliquée au traitement de l'information scientifique. En parallèle, elle met son expertise au service de la transformation des carrières scientifiques : d'abord à travers son association Résalience PhD, fondée en 2021, puis en lançant son propre cabinet de coaching, où elle accompagne les PhD dans leur transition vers le secteur privé. Son approche ultra-personnalisée permet aux chercheurs de valoriser leurs compétences et de réussir au-delà du monde académique. Convaincue que l'innovation naît de la rencontre entre science, communication et technologie, elle s'attache à créer des passerelles entre ces mondes pour ouvrir de nouvelles perspectives. Points à retenir : Il faut savoir mieux se vendre : L'humilité, très présente chez les docteurs, peut devenir un frein lors de la négociation salariale et des entretiens. Connaître sa valeur et savoir la défendre face aux recruteurs fait toute la différence — et impacte directement la perception (et la rémunération !) des futures cohortes. Préparation et réseautage : Les employeurs ont encore des doutes sur la capacité des docteurs à s'adapter au secteur privé ! Il est indispensable de se renseigner sur les métiers, de développer un réseau et de comprendre la culture d'entreprise pour gagner leur confiance. S'investir dans sa transition, c'est investir dans son futur : C'est normal d'hésiter à investir du temps et de l'argent dans un accompagnement, mais c'est un catalyseur pour décrocher l'emploi qui correspond à tes ambitions, ton expertise et tes valeurs. Today, Hunter concludes the three-part series on criminalized domestic violence survivors by speaking with two women who survived, endured years of incarceration, and utilized the DVSJA to get a second chance at life. Trinity Copeland was sentenced to 25 years to life for 2nd degree murder and resentenced to time served and released in March 2023 under the Domestic Violence Survivors Justice Act (DVSJA), after serving approximately 11 years. She is currently a full-time college student majoring in Chinese Studies with a double minor in Spanish and French. Assia Serrano was sentenced to 18 years to life for felony murder and was resentenced and released in April 2021 under the DVSJA, after serving 17 years. Shortly after, she was deported to Panama where she currently resides.  Assia is a member of the Survivors Justice Project Advisory Group and an Osborne Speakers Bureau member who uses her personal experiences to advocate for criminal justice reform. She is a proud mother of two teenagers and a fierce advocate for her own and other children who have experienced parental incarceration.
