• Jakie choroby psychiczne i fizyczne współistnieją z otyłością? Kasia Bromley's career started at Alexander McQueen in haute couture after she came over from Poland to study fashion in Edinburgh. Soon after her graduation, she started designing clothing, but it wasn't until 2016 that the brand we know today as ACAI officially launched. Kasia and her husband, Joe, co-founded the brand when they were expecting their first child. Kasia had previously identified a gap in the market for outdoor clothes for women that allowed them to confidently explore the outdoors- something she'd really wanted as she always had an affinity with spending time in nature and knew of the positive impact this could have. Utilising her fashion background and her extensive knowledge of technical fabrics, ACAI was born, but it took a long time to build it to the brand that's so well known and loved today. At one point, financial issues led to the couple having to move out of the family home and live apart in different countries to make ends meet, but this only served as fuel for Kasia and ACAI. A change in strategy saw ACAI launch online in 2017 and the business has grown at an incredible rate since then. I was delighted to speak to Kasia for my latest book, You've Got This, and it's a joy to share this interview with you here today. Don't forget, you can grab your copy of You've Got This through Amazon, Bloomsbury direct and all good bookshops.

Peter Singer may be, as The New Yorker calls him, the planet's “most influential living philosopher." He has written the classic text Practical Ethics, The Expanding Circle, The Life You Can Save (which gave rise to the organization of the same name) and Pushing Time Away (an account of the life and fate of his grandfather, a victim of the Holocaust). Carl and Peter discuss  the carefulness around spending instilled by his parents at an early age and reflects on the ethics of giving and altruism. Peter also emphasizes the importance of finding a balance between personal enjoyment and addressing global suffering, advocating for a focus on sufficiency rather than excess. He highlights the significance of having a purpose in life and the evolving nature of needs versus wants in contemporary society. Peter advocates for effective altruism, culminating in his reflection on how future generations might view their relationship with money and its role in doing good in the world.  —----------------------------- Livest Well Lived Podcast  Listen to the Lives Well Lived podcast, hosted by Peter and Kasia de Lazari Radek, wherever you get your podcasts.  Episodes consist of interviews with remarkable guests who have lived well, both in the sense of living an ethical life, but also in that they are fulfilled and happy with what they have achieved in their lives. —----------------------------- Follow 50 Fires on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/50firespod/ Please direct business inquires to: blindnilaudio@magnolia.com Cover Art: Josh Passler - TheFinArtist.com Music Credits:  Alexandra Woodward / Rabbit Reggae / courtesy of www.epidemicsound.com Cody Francis / Wherever You're Going / courtesy of www.epidemicsound.com Learn more about your ad choices. In this episode of the Third Eye Awakening podcast, I'm excited to have my beautiful friend Kasia on the show! Kasia is a dedicated Womb Health and Wellness Guide, committed to helping women reclaim autonomy over their wombs and embrace their holistic, sexual, and feminine essence. She provides compassionate, woman-centered care from her home-based clinic on a biodynamic farm in the heart of the Canadian Maritimes. In addition to being a devoted mother to three earth-side children and one angel baby, Kasia is an author, speaker, iridologist, detox counselor, and a trusted resource for womb wellness. She channels her passion for the Sacred Feminine through her work, including hosting "The Temple Podcast," where she explores divinity, alchemy, and the connection between body, mind, and soul. When she's not guiding women on their wellness journey, you can find her in the kitchen, crafting nourishing ancestral meals, or wandering her herb farm with her children, animals, and her "magical" husband, all under the shelter of the trees. In this episode, Kasia and I chat about: -the re-emergence of Old World religions -spiritual re-awakening -spirituality and grounding in the modern world -personal spiritual journeys & spiritual transformations during pregnancy -ancestral connections to religion & spirituality … and so much more!
