Las Lobas de Wall Street vuelven a cruzarse en mi camino gracias a una curiosa conversación relacionada con el Galicia Podcast Summit, y eso me sirve como excusa perfecta para dedicarles por fin un lunes podcastero en exclusiva.Lo curioso de la historia es que tanto Leo Menéndez como yo estábamos convencidos de que ya había recomendado este podcast anteriormente. Después de revisar mi Notion, mi web y todos los archivos del podcast, descubrí que en realidad estaba confundiendo aquel episodio dedicado a mi experiencia en el Galicia Podcast Summit de 2024 con una recomendación específica del proyecto de Lucía Ortega y Kasia. Así que hoy he decidido corregir esa pequeña deuda pendiente. Para entender mejor el origen de esta recomendación tengo que remontarme precisamente a aquella edición del Galicia Podcast Summit en la que participé junto a varias profesionales del sector en una mesa redonda dedicada a cómo vivir del podcasting. Allí tuve la oportunidad de compartir tiempo y conversación con Lucía Ortega, una de las creadoras de Las Lobas de Wall Street, y conocer de primera mano su forma de entender la divulgación financiera. Aunque el nombre pueda hacer pensar que se trata de un podcast exclusivamente dirigido a mujeres, la realidad es que los temas que aborda interesan a cualquier persona que quiera mejorar su relación con el dinero. De hecho, yo mismo soy oyente habitual del programa. En sus episodios hablan sobre ahorro, inversión, emprendimiento, finanzas personales y gestión económica de una forma cercana y accesible, alejándose de ese lenguaje excesivamente técnico que suele espantar a muchos oyentes. Una de las cosas que más me gusta es que consiguen transformar conceptos complejos en conversaciones fáciles de seguir. Además de los episodios centrados en inversión o educación financiera, también publican entregas bajo el formato “Entre Lobas”, donde conversan con emprendedoras y profesionales que comparten sus experiencias y aprendizajes. A eso se suman sus conocidos resúmenes trimestrales, las llamadas “sendas”, en las que hacen balance de la evolución de sus negocios, inversiones y objetivos. También me parece interesante la filosofía que hay detrás del proyecto. Lucía y Kasia defienden que las finanzas no son territorio exclusivo de los hombres y trabajan para construir una comunidad en la que cada vez más mujeres se sientan cómodas hablando de dinero, inversión y emprendimiento. Con episodios quincenales que rondan la hora de duración, Las Lobas de Wall Street se ha convertido en una propuesta muy recomendable para cualquiera que quiera aprender sobre finanzas sin sentirse fuera de lugar.
