Además, ha puesto el foco en el protocolo, que debería activarse "al mínimo indicio o sospecha" y no cuando ya hay una víctima rota. También ha señalado la inacción de algunos centros, asegurando que "tienden a ocultar, a negar y también a minimizar" estos casos o, incluso, "aplican el protocolo para negar el acoso". La abogada ha insistido en la necesidad de profesionalizar la figura del coordinador de bienestar y crear un delito específico de acoso escolar. “Lo que no puede ser es que el propio colegio sea juez y parte. Falta formación, recursos y, sobre todo, voluntad de actuar”, ha concluido.Según datos de la Fiscalía, en el último año se registraron 1.196 denuncias por acoso escolar. Rebón ha matizado que es una cifra que no refleja la realidad, ya que que muchos casos quedan fuera de las estadísticas.
