Why does God allow His people to suffer when they are doing what is right? In episode ten of "Unshakeable Faith," Duane Sheriff explores the crucial difference between Christian suffering and other forms of suffering. There are things Jesus suffered as our substitute (like God's wrath for sin), and there are other trials Christians are called to endure.Romans 5 encourages us to "glory in tribulations." The scripture in 1 Peter reveals why suffering for righteousness sake is commendable in God's sight. These sufferings, when faced with faith and patience, develop perseverance, character, and ultimately, an unshakeable faith that can withstand any opposition.https://pastorduane.com/unshakeable-faith/
Have you considered that the trials you are facing might be building your faith instead of breaking you? In episode nine of "Unshakeable Faith," Duane Sheriff teaches how faith works in conjunction with hope, love, and patience. The challenges of opposition, tribulation, and persecution help develop our character and the endurance necessary to live a victorious Christian life. James 1 reminds us to "count it all joy" when our faith is tested. This process leads to completeness in our spiritual walk. Tribulation is a part of the Christian journey, not something our faith exempts us from. Jesus' words in John 16:33 encourage us to "be of good cheer" in the face of opposition, knowing that our perseverance through trials develops an unshakeable faith that can withstand any storm.https://pastorduane.com/unshakeable-faith/
In a world where everything moves at lightning speed—from instant coffee to social media—patience often feels like a lost virtue. In episode eight of "Unshakeable Faith," Duane Sheriff explores the importance of patience within the ecosystem of faith and teaches how patience interconnects with hope and love. Biblical passages from the book of Hebrews and the letter of James emphasize how patience works hand in hand with faith, hope, and love to strengthen our spiritual foundation. Patience isn't just about waiting—it's about enduring with a purpose. Through trials and hardships, our patience is refined, not as a sign of weak faith, but a path that is unshakeable!https://pastorduane.com/unshakeable-faith/
God has the same love for us as He does for Jesus? God is love, and His love is based on His character, not your actions. God does not just love you - God is love! In episode seven of "Unshakeable Faith," Duane Sheriff teaches the importance of being born again to understand God's divine, unconditional love. Understanding the depth of God's love will transform your faith, making it truly unshakeable.https://pastorduane.com/unshakeable-faith/
God's love isn't just any love - it's unmerited. God's love for us is based on His character, not our actions. This unconditional love removes fear and doubt, which are the main obstacles to our faith. In episode six of "Unshakeable Faith," Duane Sheriff teaches that God's unconditional love is not just intellectual or like any other type of love. It is a transformative revelation that reaches deep into our hearts and dispels all fear. When we genuinely understand the depth of God's love, our faith becomes unshakeable.https://pastorduane.com/unshakeable-faith/
Youtube: God's Promises Breathe Life In the biblical story, Abraham and Sarah placed their faith and hope in God's promise and were able to conceive a child despite their old age. In episode five of "Unshakeable Faith," Duane Sheriff distinguishes between worldly hope and biblical hope, explaining that the latter is rooted in God's promises.Bible hope is a crucial component of faith that's unshakable. Drawing from scriptures such as Hebrews 11:1 and Romans 4, Duane defines Biblical hope as a belief that looks to the future, complementing the present-tense aspect of faith. Hope in God's promises can breathe life into seemingly dead situations, just as it did for Abraham and Sarah.https://pastorduane.com/unshakeable-faith/
Youtube: Hope Anchors Our Soul /Hope plays a crucial role in our faith journey. In episode four of "Unshakeable Faith," Duane Sheriff teaches that God instilled a capacity for hope within us from birth with Scripture serving as the source. Romans 15:4 and Hebrews 6:18-19 affirm that hope comes from the Scriptures and acts as an anchor for our souls. This hope isn't based on our circumstances or feelings but is rooted in God's unwavering promises. By anchoring our hope in God's Word, we can face life's challenges with unshakeable faith and confidence in His faithfulness, even in hopeless situations.https://pastorduane.com/unshakeable-faith/
In today's message, Pastor Jack encourages us to become fully persuaded by God's Word, teaching that our faith is anchored in the unbreakable covenant God made with Himself on our behalf through Jesus. He explains that when we decree God's promises in faith—speaking them from our hearts, not just our heads—we activate His power to bring breakthrough, healing, and victory in every area of our lives. He reminds us that it's not our own goodness but Christ's finished work on the cross that empowers us to overcome doubt, receive God's unconditional love, and walk in the assurance that nothing can separate us from His love. Let us stand firm, decree His Word with confidence, and watch as He establishes His promises among us.Tune in now!Join us for service every Sunday at 9 and 11am (PST) and Wednesday at 7pm (PST)If you received Christ through this message, text JESUS to (253) 859-0832We would love to hear how God is touching your life through this ministry! How can you strengthen your spiritual foundation and become unmovable in God's promises? In "Unshakeable Faith," Duane Sheriff teaches that faith does not work alone. Instead, it depends on a divine ecosystem of hope, love, and patience. These interconnected powers work in harmony to establish a lasting, unshakeable faith. Episode three explores the prerequisite and essential role of hope. Hope ignites the flame of faith and guides it toward a confident expectation of God's promises. Hebrews 11:1 declares that "faith is the substance of things hoped for," emphasizing that without hope, faith has nothing to bring into existence. When our hope is rooted in God's goodness, we create fertile ground for faith to manifest His promises. https://pastorduane.com/unshakeable-faith/
What if you could see the law of faith with the same clarity as you see the law of gravity? In episode 2 of "Unshakeable Faith," Duane Sheriff teaches that just as natural laws govern our physical world, there are spiritual laws that govern faith. The law of faith is equally consistent, reliable, and non-discriminatory as the natural laws we observe in our physical world. There are key principles that make faith effective: faith comes from hearing God's Word, faith without works is dead, it is impossible to please God without faith, and we must speak to our mountains instead of allowing our problems to speak to us.https://pastorduane.com/unshakeable-faith/
Why does our faith crumble under pressure? In the new series "Unshakeable Faith," Duane Sheriff teaches the importance of being rooted and grounded in Christ, rather than in worldly deceptions, ideologies, or traditions. Understanding the basics of faith is fundamental to salvation, justification, and living a victorious Christian life. To withstand any storm, it's crucial to be rooted and grounded in Jesus through proper teaching and an understanding of God's Word. Your faith, not works, is the key to accessing God's promises and blessings. Discover the cooperative powers that work alongside your faith to ensure your faith is truly unshakable when life's challenges come.https://pastorduane.com/unshakeable-faith/
Dr. Bobby Allen's sermon, "God Is," emphasizes the ever-present, active nature of God as described in Psalm 46:1, highlighting Him as a refuge, source of strength, and immediate help in times of trouble. The message uses biblical examples to illustrate God's power and constant availability for comfort and victory. Additionally, a second text, also attributed to Dr. Bobby Allen, reinforces the importance of believing that God is alive, actively working, and a rewarder for those who diligently seek Him, drawing from Hebrews 11:6. This sermon focuses on God's faithfulness and unchanging nature, urging believers to declare these truths to combat fear and doubt. Both texts collectively assert that acknowledging "God is" profoundly transforms perspective and reinforces faith.
This week, Taylor and Jose sit down with Dr. Carl Follingstad of Wycliffe. Together they share how, even in chaos, God's presence anchors us in peace, joy, and unshakeable faith.

Sunday | They're Singing Our Song - Unshakeable Faith in a Shaky World
MSOP | July 3, 2025 | Melchizedek School of Priesthood You must understand that your heart's condition determines how God's word takes root in your life. When divine truth encounters your spirit, it will find one of four types of ground: wayside hearts that have been hardened by constant traffic of worldly thoughts, stony hearts that lack depth beneath the surface, thorny hearts choked by life's distractions, or good ground prepared to receive and nurture spiritual seed. Your immediate emotional response to God's word—excitement, joy, or even tears—means nothing if you lack the depth of earth necessary for lasting transformation. The critical mistake you must avoid is confusing surface enthusiasm with genuine spiritual growth. True maturity requires you to allow God's word to journey downward into the depths of your being before expecting any upward manifestation. Like a wise builder who digs deep until finding bedrock, you must excavate through layers of personal history, cultural conditioning, and inherited mindsets until you reach the unshakeable foundation of Christ's nature. This downward journey involves intentional study, meditation, and practical application of divine principles rather than casual consumption of spiritual content. You need to radically reframe your understanding of tribulation and trials. These are not obstacles to your spiritual progress but essential testing mechanisms that reveal the true state of your foundation. When persecution arises because of the word you've received, when relationships strain because of your commitment to divine principles, when financial or physical pressures mount—these are not signs that something has gone wrong. They are the necessary heat that either strengthens deep-rooted faith or exposes shallow ground that will wither under pressure. Recognize that being born again serves a far greater purpose than securing your eternal destination. This spiritual rebirth enables you to perceive and participate in God's kingdom reality here and now. Stop approaching salvation as merely fire insurance for the afterlife and start understanding it as the fundamental transformation that opens your spiritual eyes to see divine truth operating in your present circumstances. When building your spiritual house, you must be ruthlessly selective about your materials. The philosophies absorbed from social media, the wisdom gleaned from popular culture, the advice collected from secular sources—these are sand and debris that will compromise your structure's integrity. Only the tested, proven principles found in divine revelation provide the solid materials necessary for constructing a life that can withstand the storms of existence. Learn to distinguish between having God's word written in your mind versus having it engraved in your heart. Written words can be erased by circumstances, forgotten under pressure, or overwritten by contradictory experiences. Engraved truth becomes part of your spiritual DNA, influencing your instinctive responses and shaping your character at the deepest level. This engraving process requires you to receive divine instruction with meekness—a humble, teachable spirit that allows truth to penetrate past your intellectual defenses into your core identity. Accept that spiritual growth follows an agricultural pattern rather than a microwave timeline. The most crucial development happens invisibly as your roots extend deeper into divine truth. Others may not see immediate changes in your external circumstances, but something profound occurs as you draw strength from sources they cannot perceive. Your ability to remain unmoved during storms, unoffended by betrayals, and unwavering in purpose reveals the quality of your hidden foundation work. Finally, embrace the reality that everything in your spiritual journey serves the purpose of salvation—not just initial conversion, but the ongoing process of being conformed to divine character. Every trial, every test, every season of pressure works together to expose areas needing transformation while strengthening the areas where you've taken deep root. Your goal is not comfortable Christianity but the development of unshakeable faith that can withstand any opposition while drawing others toward the same solid foundation you've discovered. Welcome back to The Life Unveiled Podcast! In this episode, J. White leans into the idea of building faith that doesn't flinch—faith that stays rooted when things feel slow, uncertain, or completely unclear. We often hear about “walking by faith,” but what happens when the walk feels like a standstill? When doors don't open, answers don't come, and momentum slows, it's easy to let fear or frustration shake what you believe. But unshakeable faith isn't built in comfort—it's built in the waiting, the tension, the moments when God is quiet but still present. In this powerful and honest conversation, we'll explore: • What it really means to have unshakeable faith—not just in words, but in practice • Why we confuse inactivity with trust and how to tell the difference • How to keep building when you can't see the full vision • The tension between surrender and bold action • How perfectionism and fear often hide under the mask of “waiting on God” • Spiritual maturity in silent or slow seasonsThis episode is for anyone who feels like they're doing everything “right” but not seeing movement. It's for the one who's afraid to admit they're discouraged. It's for the believer who wants to trust deeper but struggles when timelines don't match expectations.J. White shares encouragement, real-life reflections, and practical takeaways to help you reframe what it means to have faith that holds firm. This isn't surface-level inspiration—it's truth for your soul.Key Scripture:Hebrews 12:28 (NLT) – “Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe.”Listener Challenge:What area of your life feels unsteady right now? Identify it. Then ask God to reveal where He's calling you to trust, move, or release control. Reflect on how you're responding to delays—are you still building, still praying, still believing?Want more?
