Yovana es hermana de Jhon Henrry Mendoza Huarancca, que murió el 15 de diciembre de 2022 en Ayacucho, tras recibir un balazo en las inmediaciones del Aeropuerto local. Mario Ilaquita es padre de Reynaldo Ilaquita Cruz de 19 años, que recibió un disparo en las inmediaciones del Aeropuerto de Juliaca, Puno, el 09 de enero de 2023. El día que Reynaldo murió volvía de jugar fútbol con sus amigos. Fueron ellos quienes le contaron a Mario que vieron que un grupo de policías empezó a perseguir a manifestantes.
