The book written by Eddy Canfor-Dumas and Peter Osborne is invaluable and I hope you are getting a lot out of it! In order to expedite the delivery a little faster I have decided to forego adding the conversation, although super valuable the effort required to improve the Skype recordings has proven a little arduous to ensure a regular update for you. I hope you don’t mind and don’t feel you are missing anything. We play a song, Somebody Like You but the inimitable and irrespressible James Golding, from his album, Supernatural Glam. The music is available online and on CD and we thank James for giving us permission to play it. I send you my best for an amazing week.

Hi Everyone! Thank you so much for your patience! Tonights show is based around the next section of the book, The Talking Revolution written by Eddy Canfor-Dumas and Peter Osborne. Published on Amazon and getting read by more people everyday! The subject is Openness! Tonight we play a track called, Love Never Wasted, written and performed by the extraordinarily talented Howard Jones. This track is from the album Ordinary Heroes. Howard is often touring and appears in the most surprising places, so keep an eye out! His new album, Transform is available for preorder from ITunes and elsewhere and will be available from May this year. Eddy, Peter and I have a conversation about the Openness chapter from a Buddhist perspective, something for everyone! Thank you for downloading the show, have a great week and treasure everyone in your life!
A Buddhist Podcast - The Talking Revolution - Responsibility Hello Everyone! Our show tonight continues with The Talking Revolution and the subject is Responsibility. A great way to share Buddhist concepts with friends and family as there is no jargon or language to get in the way! Published on Amazon, this book is making more headway in organisations and companies than you would believe. The music tonight comes from another SGI-UK member, Howard Jones, who wrote and performed Building our own Future. Even this track is packed full of value. Suitably inspired, the authors Eddy Canfor-Dumas and Peter Osborne, talk with me about responsibility from a Buddhist perspective. A lot for everyone to relate to. Thank you so much for taking time to listen. Have the best week of your life.
Happy New Year everyone! On this show we have Peter Osborn and Eddy Canfor-Dumas , back with the second installment of The Talking Revolution. This is a great show to share with those who don’t practice as its completely free of jargon and really helpful! Its called, We are relationships. The book, The Talking Revolution has just been published on Amazon and Eddy and Peter are busy responding to queries about it from across the world. In tribute to all the great men out there in the world, who may or may not use Gillette products, I play a great record called Big Hearted Man by my long time friend, Jimmy Golding! Following the theme we have some more conversation on the We are relationships chapter of the book. In an age when sometimes there is so little to rejoice about, its great to hear such positive conversation. I’m excited as I’ve heard the next chapters and I can’t wait to share them all with you this year. Thank you for all your feedback! Keep an eye out, this website should be upgraded very soon! Sending you my best for a wonderful week.
Peace and goodwill to everyone! Tonight we have the introduction to a new book called the Talking Revolution written by two members of the SGI from the UK, Peter Osborn and Eddy Canfor-Dumas. Its an exciting book that has just been published on Amazon. It is a practical approach to communication. I think one of the biggest challenges in explaining Buddhism to the modern world is the need to explain how to apply it in the way we interact with ourselves and others. This book, although brief, will start a talking revolution. We are going to serialize the book in audio on this podcast over the next few weeks. As an indulgence to how I felt when I was putting the show together, Jody Gnant was kind enough to give us permission to play Great Day again on the show. In the second half of the show we have a recording of a Skype conversation between Jason and the two authors of The Talking Revolution. Let us know what you think about the sound quality as we are working on developing the content for a regular segment! Happy New Year!
Welcome back to another new podcast! Sadly I was not able to finish part 2 of The Drum at the Gate of Thunder, but we do have the amazing William Woollard reading Chapter 11 from his wonderful book, The Case For Buddhism. Its all about Buddhism and money! Tonight we play a jaunty little jazz number by the amazing Robin Lukas, its called Le Fin and it from her album, Chianti and Olives! We will back soon, have a great week!
Tonights episode is the first of a few lectures on a letter Nichiren Daishonin wrote to Sennichi-Ama known as The Drum at the Gate of Thunder. As the first lecture in some time, Jason talks about Buddhist study and goes into some depth on the background to this letter. He starts to explain some of the first passages and then, realizing he has run out of time, rather abruptly ends. Seriously, he has already started writing the next part! The podcast finishes with a wonderful song by the incredibly talented Jody Gnant, from the album Pivot, Great Day is one of Jasons all time favourite tracks! Check out her Jody's website! Thank you so much for listening, have a wonderful week!
Well, this one might come as a surprise! After reading the news last week and thinking about the news of this week and next, I thought I would try and get a lead on it with two brilliant talks from William Woollard on Negativity and Anger. William reads from his book The Case For Buddhism I felt both of these chapters would be a compliment to one another and something to hold in mind as we go through these turbulent times. To keep our spirits up, Robin Lukas sings "Smile" from her album Beyond Paradise Edge. More coming soon! Have an amazing week.
Welcome to a fresh new podcast! William Woollard reads Chapter 8 from his very readable book, The Case For Buddhism. Its a slightly longer chapter about Buddhism in Daily Life. We play one of my favourite tracks called Pettigoe by Cat Malojian. More coming soon! Have a wonderful week.

Welcome to another episode of A Buddhist Podcast! Tonight William Woollard reads Chapter 5, Buddhism and Ethics from his book, The Case for Buddhism. Its a great chapter that I’ve learned a lot from. Williams use of accessible language makes this a great book to give people who know nothing about Buddhism. We play a fun track by Robin Lukas called How are you? I love it! As soon as there is an official final version, we will post links here! After getting some emails from listeners with huge challenges I decided to talk about my experience of taking on challenges and lose grief to help me become a better person. So lots of voices tonight and a couple of experiences too. The artwork for the episode is the last picture I had taken with my uncle, Barry Brooks who recently passed away. Barry introduced me to this practice. Thank you to everyone for your support. The show continues to evolve!
Welcome to another episode of A Buddhist Podcast! Tonight William Woollard reads Chapter 5, Buddhism and the Problem Paradox from his book, The Case for Buddhism. I chat for a while about my life and share a recent understanding I've developed about a writing from Nichiren to a disciple going through challenging times! We play a wonderful track that matches my summer, Chianti and Olives by the amazing Robin Lukas. You can buy the track on Amazon, iTunes and CD Baby. Feels great to post this, have a fantastic week and take care of the people around you. Thank you
Welcome to the first show of 2018. We start tonights show with a chapter from William Woollard's book that sits alongside chapter 3, its a simple chapter about Nichiren Daishonin, the Buddha who’s teachings we follow. The editing took some time and I was able to get the file ready to the digital work on the plane to Brisbane, where when we land I hope to post online! Thank you very much everyone for the many birthday wishes you were kind enough to send and for all your good wishes about our forthcoming move to Vancouver. We are continuing to study hard and have started writing the lecture for the next show, so bear with us as we embark on the next crazy adventure. I think its about time we shared an experience of how we have done this, what do you think?
