This week we're hanging by a thread as we take a look at one of the strangest, sleaziest movies we've done yet, Mad Foxes. A few movies in our past have driven us to the brink of madness but none so powerfully as this Swiss/German/Spanish co-production that was intended to be a sequel-in-name-only of the American action movie, Stingray. Music video director Paul Grau approached his producer friend Erwin Dietrich with an idea to produce a comedy and ended up with the assignment to instead produce a violent action movie and since the producer was also a big name in the world of European sexploitation the movie had a mandate to also be full of sex and nudity and man alive, did Paul Grau miss the mark. Starring Jose Gras, credited as Robert O'Neil, it tells the story of a man, his car, and the high cost of being so cool when Nazi bikers assault his lady and kill his parents. Again, because his car is just too cool.Somehow having four writer credits, this movie comes off like it was written by one twelve year old boy. Very little of it makes sense. A lot of it is maddening to behold and if you're not ready for it you're going to be surprised by precisely how many penises are in this movie.Join the Bring Me The Axe Discord: https://discord.gg/snkxuxzJSupport Bring Me The Axe! on Patreon: https://patreon.com/bringmetheaxepodBuy Bring Me The Axe merch here:https://www.bonfire.com/store/bring-me-the-axe-podcast/
In this episode, I explore the difference between the military mindset and the more stealth approach of minimization in cybersecurity. I share the results from the Ghost in the Source Capture the Flag (CTF) challenge, revealing how the winners cracked the AES encryption using dictionary attacks, keyword harvesting and the cipher tool hidden in robots.txt. I discuss why the “assume breach” mentality just leaves the doors wide open, using examples from Kevin Mitnick's 1981 Pacific Bell infiltration to modern ransomware groups like Scattered Spider who breached MGM and Marks & Spencer through social engineering.I also cover practical tactics for using public Wi-Fi, data curation techniques, the invisible surveillance net including Stingray devices, and provide a deep dive into GrapheneOS covering user profiles, app sandboxing, network controls, sensor permissions, and the proper use of sandboxed Google Play services. In this week's episode:Ghost in the Source Capture the Flag challenge resultsThe military mindset problem in cybersecurityStrategic use of public Wi-Fi for account creation and privacy techniquesData curation tactics, and “Minimizing What Can Be Known”Invisible surveillance net and Stingray devicesGrapheneOS discussion on user profiles, app sandboxing, network controls, sensors permissions, sandboxed Google Play services, and security architectureMatrix Community RoomsMatrix Community Space - https://matrix.to/#/#psysecure:matrix.orgIndividual Room Links:https://matrix.to/#/#lockdown-general:matrix.orghttps://matrix.to/#/#lockdown-podcast:matrix.orghttps://matrix.to/#/#lockdown-intro:matrix.orgShow Links:Noam Chomsky on Internet Privacyhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIWsTMcBrjQNoam Chomsky on Advertising - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PfIwUlY44CMTryHackMe Platform - https://tryhackme.comHack the Box - https://hackthebox.comWired Article on DNC Stingray Surveillance - https://www.wired.com/story/2024-dnc-cell-site-simulator-phone-surveillance/IntelTechniques Data Removal Guide - https://inteltechniques.com/workbook.htmlOptery Data Broker Removal - https://optery.comGraphene OS - https://grapheneos.org“We're dragons. WARREN CUMMINGS talks about those 1960s puppet series.First broadcast on FAB RADIO INTERNATIONAL at 19:00 on July 6th 2025.This week I welcome back WARREN CUMMINGS once again, and this week he wanted to talk all about the Gerry Anderson puppet series of the 1960s, and, although his take on them might be somewhat different to the version you might normally expect when we talk about archive television, I do think we had an entertaining, if highly animated discussion, all about FOUR FEATHER FALLS, FIREBALL XL5, STINGRAY, THUNDERBIRDS and CAPTAIN SCARLET.And whilst we did also manage to take in THE ADVENTURES OF TWIZZLE and TORCHY THE BATTERY BOY in passing, we somehow managed to almost completely forget about SUPERCAR, which is the kind of thing that happens when you get carried away with the things that you are actually talking about.PLEASE NOTE - For Copyright reasons, musical content sometimes has to be removed for the podcast edition. All the spoken word content remains (mostly) as it was in the broadcast version. Hopefully this won't spoil your enjoyment of the show.

Astrophiz 215: Dr Ian Musgrave's June SkyGuide Summary: Mars close to thin crescent moon. Occultation of Antares behind the moon in the early evening sky. The moon comes close to some of the bright planets. … and Mars is close to the moon again at the end of the month. Moon Phases: June 3 ~ 1st Quarter Moon, and another time to catch the ‘Lunar X' late in the night, about 11pm for Australian Eastern states. 10:30 for central states and 9pm in the West. Lunar X Tip: take an image each 1/2 hour from moonrise. June 7 ~ Apogee, furthest from earth June 11 ~ Full Moon June 19 ~ Last Quarter Moon ~ ideal for stargazing June 23 ~ Perigee, closest to earth June 25 ~ New Moon ~ ideal for stargazing June 21 ~ Solstice: shortest day in Southern Hemisphere. longest day in Northern Hemisphere Evening Skies: Jupiter is lost into the twilight Mercury returns to evening skies mid-month, on the 27th it's 3°from the moon an hour after sunset, and will continue to be excellent until mid-July. Mars is low in the NW evening skies, and is still readily visible T Coronae Borealis is visible in late evening skies and still has not ‘Gone Nova' so the challenge is still … to capture a Nova before and after it blows! This Nova iswell ‘overdue' so all eyes are on it! Tuesday 10 June ~ The Occultation of Antares by the Moon is easily seen in binoculars and telescopes (for times, check Ian's Astroblogger website) Also June is a great opportunity to see The Dark Emu in the south, the Southern Cross and the magnificent globular cluster Omega Centauri is also at it's highest in the south. Morning Skies: Venus is furthest from the sun on 1 June, and is a half-moon shape in telescopes, and beside the crescent moon on 22 June Saturn is climbing higher in the morning sky, Scorpius is a feature in the dark morning sky in the east Saggitarius and the Heart of the Milky Way are also rising, a good opportunity to catch the Triffid and Lagoon nebulas in Saggitarius. Ian's 'Tangent' Ian discusses long-lived aspects of Indigenous astronomy like The Eagle, Stingray and Dark Emu, and how Western constellation names have changed over time. eg Argo was declared obsolete in 1930. Ian's Astrophotography Challenges: 1. Capture The Occultation of Antares on June 10th (almost full moon) 2. Then on a dark night with no moon, have a go at The Dark Emu, with your mobile phone/DSLR/camera, conveniently at 8pm in the south near Scorpius, the Pointers and the Southern Cross. Tips: Use your device's highest ISO (ASA) Under urban skies, take 10 x1second exposures, and stack them using a free stacking program or app. Under dark skies, you can take longer exposures If stacking in RAW, do a ‘dark frame' subtraction If stacking in JPEG, don't use dark frame subtraction.

ANDREW-MARK THOMPSON on the voices behind the puppets.First broadcast on FAB RADIO INTERNATIONAL at 19:00 on March 16th 2025.This week we welcome back our old friend ANDREW-MARK THOMPSON who's making a much-postponed return to VISION ON SOUND. ANDY is the one of our regular contributors to the show who I feel is our expert on all things to do with the GERRY ANDERSON productions of which he is an enormous fan, so, when DAVID GRAHAM, the much loved actor responsible for giving us the voices of PARKER and BRAINS in THUNDERBIRDS - as well as a whole host of other brilliant performances - died in September last year at the grand old age of ninety-nine, we had planned to get together and record a show in his honour, but various gremlins got into the works, so it never happened.Instead we attempted to regroup in January and broaden our scope into a discussion about the many actors who performed in series such as FOUR FEATHER FALLS, FIREBALL XL5, THUNDERBIRDS, CAPTAIN SCARLET and, most particularly STINGRAY, so that's what we attempted to do during the next hour, as we discuss, amongst others, the work of names such as RAY BARRETT, SHANE RIMMER, LOIS MAXWELL, and, of course the wonderful DAVID GRAHAM. You may not have known some of their faces, but their voices shaped a generation. Now, obviously, those gremlins really don't appreciate a tryer, and, despite our persistence, there were still some sound issues during this recording, for which I can only apologise, and which all seems somewhat ironic, given that we were simply trying to talk about voice performers, and the great joy they brought to people over the years.Anyway, because we had such an enjoyable hour, I've done my best to salvage what I could, and I hope that you'll find this fun conversation worth sticking with despite any of the slight sound issues that there may still be.PLEASE NOTE - For Copyright reasons, musical content sometimes has to be removed for the podcast edition. All the spoken word content remains (mostly) as it was in the broadcast version. Hopefully this won't spoil your enjoyment of the show.
Located in State College, Pennsylvania is Discovery Space of Central Pennsylvania. Discovery Space is a non-profit science center designed to provide engaging experiences with the experience of technology that sparks curiosity and creativity. Michele Crowl Executive Director of Discovery Space and The Rivet, says the center opened back in 2011 and has grown ever since. “We've since moved to a larger facility. We've been able to expand the programs that we offer. So, we started out with a lot of pre-K programs and things for early elementary. And now we're able to, in our larger space, do things for up into middle school, high school. And when we get there to talk about the rivet or the other part of our organization, we have 87 -year -olds coming weekly to do things in our space.” The program offers hands-on learning accessible to people of all ages outside of the traditional classrooms. “In a lot of our programs, we're not only doing science experiments or engineering design challenges, but there's literacy woven in there into the whole experience. And so, we really level the playing field because things are hands on.” The center has just received a baby California Round Ray. The exhibit is having a welcome party on 3March 14 from 5:30-7:30 pm. They are also asking the public’s help on a name for the stingray. “You can vote right now if you go to our website. The four names are Sandy, Bubbles, Pearl, and Strawberry. So, one of those names will be the winning name for our baby stingray. It's aa California round ray. Right now, she's only maybe five inches wide. We'll have her for about a year and a half, depending on how quickly she grows. She just arrived with us. So, she's going through a period where she's acclimating to us and our environment and she's already been, um, really playful. Listen to the podcast to hear the full interview. We're looking at a Stingray tale this time, and were surprised at how much we enjoyed watching Titan Go Pop.
It's an exciting day for Conor Daly and Speed Street as the Juncos Hollinger IndyCar team unveils their base liveries for the 2025 season. Conor joins co-host Chase Holden to chat about striking paint schemes and what will be on the horizon for his number-78 Dallara this year. Conor also recaps a very exciting IndyCar Content Day and what he observed from the Fox Sports production crew. A recent dinner was held with members of the IndyCar paddock and Fox Sports and Conor reports that there are many exciting developments behind the scenes for 2025. It wouldn't be a true team livery reveal without hearing from the other half of the Juncos Hollinger garage, and Conor's teammate Sting Ray Robb joins the show to give his take on what the team is bringing to the table. Sting Ray discusses his tumultuous beginning to his IndyCar career and what he hopes to accomplish with JHR this year. He also fills listeners in on the origin of his name, which is arguably one of the most unique in all of motorsports. He and Conor chat about what they're excited for in 2025 and what to expect at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway come May.

*This episode mentions suicide and depression and may not be suitable for all listeners.* Our first guest is Sabrina Greenlee—the mother of NFL star DeAndre Hopkins, a grandmother, and a survivor—whose faith was the lifeline that broke the cycle of violence that followed her throughout her life. Later in the episode, we'll hear from professional IndyCar driver Sting Ray Robb, who shares how his childhood passion evolved into a lifelong career, and how his faith has guided him through life's most uncertain times, both on and off the track. What that looked like, I had no idea. I just knew that I couldn't allow my children to be captivated by the streets or people. I made up my mind that what happened to me, I didn't want them to use as an excuse for them not succeeding in life.” - Sabrina Greenlee “There were so many different things that happened to me, and each time I got up. No matter what happened, I stood for myself. I stood in my truth.” - Sabrina Greenlee “Once I found the presence of God and He met me where I was, everything turned around. But you first have to surrender and give God your life. In the end, He'll give you the glory for your story.” - Sabrina Greenlee “It kind of seems that how I was challenged in the racing world, I was also challenged in my faith. I said a long time ago that I would not be a racer if it wasn't for my faith. It's my foundation that I lean on, and it's the thing that I call to and find purpose in.” - Sting Ray Robb “I had the realization and clarity and peace that came from knowing that [the race] wasn't in my control. I could trust God's sovereignty.” - Sting Ray Robb “I'm doing my best with racing to glorify Him and use this as a platform to reach others and provide some form of excellence that people can see a reflection of God through.” - Sting Ray Robb “God has called us in a direction, and it's our job to hitch ourselves to that direction and go with what He's telling us to do.” - Sting Ray Robb ________________________ Enjoy watching these additional videos from Jesus Calling YouTube channel!
