Ever wonder why you hear God clearly in some areas of your life, but feel like you're getting radio silence in others?
Have you ever been in a season where it feels like you're stuck in waiting mode? You've been hoping, praying, and believing for something, but it just… hasn't… happened. It's like, “God, why is this taking so long? Have I done something wrong? Is my faith not enough?” If you've ever felt like this (and who hasn't, right?), you're not alone. We've all been there—when the things we deeply desire seem out of reach. Maybe it's that dream job, the perfect partner, or a long-awaited breakthrough. And when these hopes are delayed, it can feel like your heart is heavy and your faith is on the rocks. Proverbs 13:12 says, “Hope deferred makes the heart sick,” and boy, isn't that the truth? It's a recipe for discouragement, doubt, and fear. Here's the beautiful truth: God's idea of fulfilling your desires is often way better than what we imagine. He's orchestrating things behind the scenes that we can't see. And sometimes, He's using the waiting period to grow us, mature us, and prepare us for the fulfillment of those desires in ways that are far beyond our understanding. When I shifted my own hope from circumstances to God, I found joy—not in the outcome, but in His presence. And guess what? Even when the things I hoped for finally happened, it wasn't perfect, but I had peace because my hope was anchored where it needed to be. I know waiting is hard. But you're not alone in this journey. God is inviting you to anchor your hope in Him and find joy even in the “not yet.” Will you accept? Let me tell you what typically happens…I catch myself thinking about something that's going on in my life and I realize that I'm feeling… ➔ Scared ➔ Worried ➔ Upset ➔ Confused ➔ Anxious ➔ Frustrated And then it's like I suddenly ‘come to my senses' and realize that thinking this way doesn't feel very good at all. It doesn't line up with the abundant life that Jesus said I get to live (in John 10:10), but feels more like the ‘kill, steal destroy' thoughts of the enemy instead You experience this too, right? You know what, it's a common thing that happens to us all. But here's the shot of hope that God wants to give us all today – we don't have to agree with the enemy because we can agree with Him instead! As you watch this video, you'll see ✨how you can ask God to help you ‘come to your senses' ✨what it looks like to fertilize your mind with His help ✨how encouraging it is to be able to agree with His way better thoughts SO GOOD!
I remember being taught how to build a fire as a young girl. We were on a leadership camp with school, and each group was given a box of matches and a raw chicken, and told to make our own dinner! It was up to us to make the fire, suspend the chicken over it, and cook it until it was completely done (so we didn't make ourselves sick). We listened to what we were supposed to do and all sat there a little shell-shocked for a few minutes, until our grumbling bellies helped us to start making a plan to feed them
When my husband was about 6 years old, he had a dream (about 1974). In the dream he was looking at a little screen on a band on his wrist. As he looked at it more closely, he realized that he could press the screen and images would appear. He was so intrigued that he tucked that memory away even after he'd woken up.. Fast forward 40 years or so, and one day we were in the Apple store and he saw an Apple Watch! I remember him blurting out in the middle of the store, “hey, I dreamed about this when I was young, and now here it is!” As we sat talking it through we realized that God had showed him something that wasn't yet invented, and was sharing a secret from the treasuries of Heaven. Isn't that wild?!Well, do you know that we have a promise in 1 Corinthians 2:16 that we ‘have the Mind of Christ'? In the Amplified Classic version it says, “ we have the mind of Christ (the Messiah) and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart.” In today's episode, you'll discover: ✨ How to ask Jesus what He is thinking and feeling ✨ Discover how He feels about the way the two of you communicate now ✨ How excited he is to share with you what His purposes look like WOW!
”Ooohhh, I think I found a chink in her armor! A place where her guard is down and we can get in and have access to her” OK, OK, I didn't actually hear this, but I can imagine that's what a conversation might sound like between 2 demons who are ‘roaring around like lions, seeking whom they may devour' (1 Peter 5:8) When we don't listen to God's call for healing the places in our souls where we are wounded, then we leave an opening for the enemy to come in. Now why would we do that? Let's look at a practical scenario. If you live in a place where you know there are known thieves, you wouldn't leave the front door to your house unlocked and standing wide open would you? No, of course not! You would make sure that your house is locked up tight so they couldn't get any access. Well, it's just the same with us. As you watch or listen to today's episode let's investigate how you can be aware of the schemes of the enemy and then take the action God prescribes in 1 Peter 5:8-11. As always,
I recently had an incredible conversation with a coaching client, where we received a profound revelation from the Lord. We realized that many of us are striving to do what we believe is God's work—helping, serving, and balancing our busy lives. However, the challenge lies in figuring out what to let go of. Should we reduce volunteering, cut our kids' activities, or stop checking emails constantly? During our discussion, God revealed a new perspective that changes everything. Instead of struggling to balance, we discovered a more harmonious approach to living our lives. It was a true game changer for both of us! As always,
God is interested in Your past, Your present and Your future. So interested in fact that Jesus came to deal with everything in your past - so that He could set you up for a great present, and future. So we typically know how He has saved us from our past. And we live in the present, so we're familiar with that. But what about our future? How much do we really know about what that looks like, and how we can agree with His plans for us? So do you want to know how to invest into your future? As you watch or listen to today's episode I share a great example with you of what that can look like! Come have a look. So, as always,
Prayer is powerful – we all know this. But sometimes it can be difficult to do… Sometimes we don't know what to pray, Or we get distracted and find that we've stopped praying without even knowing it, Or we don't think we're seeing answers to our prayers, so we get discouraged. But you know what, prayer is SUPER important to God too. So as a way to help us, He gives us really practical ways to know how to pray, straight from the Bible. As you watch or listen to today's episode let Him show you how to engage with Him and let Him lead you in the specific ways to pray into specific situations (this is GOLD). So, as always,
“Jesus, help!” I found myself saying this a few weeks ago as my husband and I sat praying together before bed. I had a hip replacement operation in April, and it was a hard road to recovery for me. On this particular day, everything seemed to be so, so heavy. I was in a lot of pain, I was tired, I was feeling weak and there was a heavy cloud of despair over me that I couldn't seem to move. My normally positive and strong personality felt like she had gone away - and I had literally nothing left to give. As we sat and looked at each other, all I could do was say, “Jesus, help”. With tears streaming down my face, I curled up and went to sleep. Then something happened during the night. All I know is that I woke up and the cloud of despair that had felt so heavy the night before – was GONE. I don't know how He did it, I just know that He heard me and He took the cloud away! As you watch or listen to today's episode let Him show you (in Psalm 91) what it looks like to be ‘under the shadow of the Almighty' and how He will fight your battles with you (and cause you to win!) So, as always,
Imagine having a conversation with someone and they turn their back to you, mid-sentence. Ummmm…. "Hello, we were just talking and you turned your back to me. What's going on?" It wouldn't feel good right? We all want to be wanted. We all want to know that someone else is interested in spending time with us, hearing us, listening to what we want to share. It's just human nature. So when we read a stunning verse like Psalm 27:8, everything in us pays attention, BECAUSE we KNOW that God WANTS to spend time with us. Stop and think about that for a moment. GOD, wants to spend time with you!!! As you watch or listen to today's episode let you heart be wooed into a deeper relationship with God. So, as always,
Imagine being invited to partner with the Creator of the Universe? Oh My Goodness! Doesn't that just blow your mind? Well, it's true. God Almighty is inviting you to ‘be about your Father's business' like Jesus was. It's an invitation to ‘do what you see the Father doing' and ‘say what you hear the Father saying'. It's mind-blowing. And…it's a little scary too, because you don't quite know what He's going to ask you to do, right? As you watch or listen to today's episode I share a real life example from my own life of what it can look like to follow His invitation and how you can get to the place where you say “Yes Father” (and see the amazing things He will do through it). So, as always,
Do you remember the lyrics of the song ‘On Christ The Solid Rock I Stand'? The chorus goes like this: “On Christ the solid rock I stand All other ground is sinking sand” It's based on the Truth in Matthew 7:24-27 where Jesus says that if we will listen to His teaching and obey it, then we will be like people who build their house on solid rock (instead of sinking sand). Now that just sounds like good sense to me! But let's face it - there are places that feel wobbly in all of our lives. Places where we still have fear, anxiety and worry. Places where we're struggling to find hope. Places where breakthrough seems like a far off dream. This is the nature of everyday life. But as you watch or listen to today's episode you will find new hope and courage as you ask Jesus for help you stand on the stability that ONLY He can offer in your life. It's a game changer for sure. So, as always,
“I am really disappointed that what I was believing God for, hasn't happened.” We've all said this somewhere along our walk with Jesus, right? It's how we've coined the popular phrases, “God came through at 11hr 59 minutes” or “God's never late, but He's not early either” But so many times we are expecting God to do something the way we think it should be done, or according to the solutions we have in mind. What a way to box in the Creator of the Universe! As you watch or listen to today's episode you will experience a mindset shift that will help you to see how much better it is to follow along with what God is doing. So, as always,
“Lord, I hear that You want me to give this $100, but that will leave my bank account balance really low” I remember times when I'd say this to the Lord, and my throat would be constricted with fear because I was so scared of not having enough. I mean, it's a good thing to WANT to be a generous giver, but what about what you need to survive right?
