Social Media Secrets with Rachel Pedersen - The Queen of Social Media
Want to grow your business without the overwhelm? I've got tons of free business and marketing resources packed with strategies you can start using right now: https://beacons.ai/themrspedersen Ready for a deeper dive? My book (yep, it's a USA Today Best Seller!) breaks down exactly how to get there: https://hayhs.com/u_pp_hc_az From Welfare to 8 Figures | Hay House Author | Marketing Strategist | Mom of 3 ❤️ Hi, I'm Rachel Pedersen. Some people call me the Queen of Social Media... but I didn't start there. My story isn't a straight line. It's a rollercoaster filled with mistakes, lessons, wins, and growth. Here's a little bit of the backstory: 2010: Became a mom at 21. Unplanned, unprepared, but determined. 2011: Became an alcoholic single mom on welfare. Rock bottom? Pretty much. 2012: Enrolled in hair school to turn my life around. Graduated with 5 job offers from the top salons in my city. 2013: Landed a job at a top salon. It felt like the start of something new. 2014: Met my husband. Married him 13 days later (yep, 13 days). 2015: We had another baby and both changed careers. Life kept evolving. 2016: Got my first real social media management client, got sober, and went viral—all in the same year. 2017: Replaced my 9-5 income, resigned, and retired my husband too. Freedom tasted good. 2018: Crossed $1,000,000 in my business and welcomed baby #3. Growth in business and family. 2019: Built a second business to $1,000,000. Turns out lightning can strike twice. 2020: Hired my dream team and scaled both businesses to 7 figures. Leadership became my new obsession. 2021: Landed a dream book deal with Hay House and gave a TEDx Talk. A surreal “pinch me” year. 2022: Hit a wall. Complete mental breakdown. Diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Faced my trauma, did the hard healing work, and came out stronger. 2023: Began writing fiction books with my husband - and testing out more creative marketing campaigns. Went mega-viral multiple times, too! 2024: Started our consulting company, Pelanora, and scaled some pretty cool businesses. 2025: About to be the most exciting year yet! Today, I run multiple 7-figure businesses, help entrepreneurs scale without losing their sanity, and teach marketing strategies that actually work. No gimmicks, no sleazy tactics, just authentic growth. Because success isn't about having a perfect story - it's about writing your own, one messy, beautiful chapter at a time. Here are my marketing resources packed with strategies you can start using right now: https://beacons.ai/themrspedersen
We're back on the albums again! Part TWENTY, 110-101. - WE HAVE LISTENED TO AND TALKED THROUGH OVER 200 ALBUMS since June!! OH MY WORD. - This week features Sleater-Kinney, J Dilla, Paul & Linda McCartney, and seven other artists to continue this massive undertaking. Hmm, who else could there be? ;) - When do we EVER have time for Poetry Time on Albums eps anymore? Here's the written version for you: - Today's Poetry Time ____________________________________________________ Softest of Mornings Softest of mornings, hello. And what will you do today, I wonder, to my heart? And how much honey can the heart stand, I wonder, before it must break? This is trivial, or nothing: a snail climbing a trellis of leaves and the blue trumpets of its flowers. No doubt clocks are ticking loudly all over the world. I don't hear them. The snail's pale horns extend and waive this way and that as her finger-body shuffles forward, leaving behind the silvery path of her slime. Oh, softest of mornings, how shall I break this? How shall I move away from the snail, and the flowers? How shall I go on, with my introspective and ambitious life? -by Mary Oliver ____________________________________________________ I chose this poem for multiple reasons: This is a very special episode, so I wanted to grace it with my favorite poet. Also, this episode marks a milestone and I am thrilled to get to continue my “introspective and ambitious life,” both musically and in general. Also it's just plain beautiful and with this being a Friday, perhaps you have the opportunity for some quiet mornings in the days ahead - ONLY 100 ALBUMS TO GO!!! Aw. (It occurred to me last week that I'm really going to miss this project once we're through.) Onward and upward we go. - Oh it's a major endeavor, alright. I'm going to try to listen to at least 10 albums a week for the rest of the year! Yeah, I'm not joking. Media, art, and entertainment publication Paste Magazine came out with a list of the 300 best albums and we're going to go through them all! Well, I'm going to. And then we're going to talk about it! Great tracks, themes, history, info, related artists, cultural context, personal experiences- they're all going to play a part in these reviews. Totally stoked because I love music. (And a little intimidated! Because this is a lot to process) - If we keep up with an episode per week featuring 10 albums each, we'll just about finish by the end of 2024. - What an episode! I'm so grateful to be here with you. Hope you have an amazing weekend! Stay safe and warm- I'll see you Monday, C :) - Audio clip credit to the Grammy Museum via Sleater-Kinney IG.

When we look more deeply into these ideas of the mundane, sacred, and profane we find that there is truly no difference or separation in them. They are words we use for linguistic convenience. In a watercolor painting, water is added to the different colors, so they mix and blend, becoming something new altogether. Similarly, when the “waters” of our consciousness is mixed with all of these various aspects of life, we realize that everything is the Divine expression of an Individualizing Spirit. And we are given the means for directing certain aspects of it in non-Life-Affirming ways or Life-Affirming ways…
A Hamster With a Blunt Penknife - a Doctor Who Commentary podcast
Joe, Si & Frazer; ‘OH MY WORD!' This epic, rousing, laughter filled commentary comes to close with a huge moral debate. Is the Doctor morally dubious? Can you draw a line under the morality of the show? The trio investigates.
BONUS! Episode of Oh My Word! Podcast, also a farewell-wrap up episode. Who know what will be, but the podcast is going on long-term hiatus. All episodes will still be...
Hello my survivor friends, What follows is an interview I did for a podcast called “Oh My Word!”, it's a literary podcast where they talk about writing. I am interviewed by Esther who is a lot of fun. Again – if you don't want to listen to these, you can leave now before the plane takes off. Season 3 should be back at the end of August with the main Narrative. I'm clearly labeling these interviews and extras for your convenience. To prepare for these interviews I subscribed to the podcasts and listened to a few of them. It helps me meet the interviewers where they are and makes me a better guest. I guess I'm a bit of a chameleon in that way – I try to be the guest they want, while still being myself. I've been having a good summer and getting a lot of work done. One of my fun projects is I'm training to ride my bicycle across Massachusetts the long way at the end of August. The means I have a lot of time out on long rides. And, of course I fill this time listening to podcasts. And I know many of you are serial listeners as well so I'm going to give you some, not reviews, but the shows I'm listening to that you might be interested in and some color around them. These are just the Audio narratives, or Story Podcasts, that I listen to, I also listen to a bunch of other stuff. I will build a list with the names and links for you and insert it here in the show notes and also post on the Book of Faces page. See the show notes or the Facebook PageFacebook group -> https://www.facebook.com/groups/oldmanapocalypsePatreon to support the show -> https://www.patreon.com/AftertheApocalypseKindle Vella Story -> https://www.amazon.com/kindle-vella/story/B09LTRC8RHMerch Store -> http://tee.pub/lic/8MubRv7yeAwSo that's how I've been wiling away the time on my bicycle this summer. I figured I'd share because I know many of you are serial listeners. As for the show, we're on track to start Season 3 in a few weeks. I've started working on the episode flow and hope to get a head start on writing in August. I'm also working my way through the season one manuscript and will be working on fleshing that out for a book if I can swing it. And, I have finished writing the second episode of the Alien Noir series that I hope to have Mike read for us for next week – with any luck. I have a bit of a “too many projects” problem going right now. But, the fastest way out it through so I'll keep pushing. And you, my survivor friends, enjoy your summers, keep your heads down and Keep Surviving. /MD Get bonus content on Patreon See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
OH MY WORD. Y'all. This episode had me thinking, laughing and praising God for how He's made us to communicate. On this episode, Terah and Leah interview Joe Julian on the topic of communication. We talk about healthy ways to communicate and how different generations have strengths and weaknesses we need to work on. Don't sleep on this episode!
With their 2-1 home loss to Burnley, Watford continued to break records for run of home defeats and Jon, Mike, Jas and Tom Wickes (Editor of Golden Pages Fanzine) gathered outside the Hornet Shop to basically console each other. As well as talking about the good (at times) but ultimately poor performance, they also discuss the future and purpose of fan representation. You'll hear a clip from Oh My Word, a podcast all about supporting Watford in the 90s. Their most recent episode had Pete Fincham on and he discussed the start of and current state of fans involvement with Watford FC. Plus they really depress themselves when pondering the possibility of Marco Silva, Bourenmouth and Luton swapping places with the Goldens. Only 4 games to go.... COME ON YOU ORNS
Two wonder strikes pull the Mariners back to winning ways. Hunt leaves for Oldham and we welcome our new arrivals in to the fold. Alex rants about Bromley and Scott is embarrassed by his commentary for those wonder strikes.

In this podcast episode, I am joined by the Founder of Oh My Word, Kate O'Mealley. She is a Copywriter, Word Nerd and Small Business Mentor. In the beginning, she juggled her small business with working full-time in big business – but had a sneaky feeling corporate life wasn't for her. After 15 years working in corporate communications, she's written about many things from superannuation to recycling pizza boxes. She's also been a ghostwriter for CEOs and AFL footballers, editor and feature writer for lifestyle magazines. These days, she puts her wordy skills and business experience to good use working with a range of small and medium businesses, startups, not for profits and sole traders. She helps clients to communicate better and plan for success – to get the results they really want and see their business flourish and grow. Steve Finan is journalist who writes regularly about language and the misunderstandings that result every time we open our mouths. His column “Oh My Word” appears in The Courier of Dundee, Scotland, and other DC Thomson publications, where he is the heritage unit editor. He's the author of several books about football—that's proper football not the American kind—including Lifted over the Turnstiles, described as "the best book about old Scottish football grounds ever published."Steve began as a printing apprentice in just under the last four years of hot-metal typesetting and relief letterpress printing at a newspaper in Scotland. He loved the sound, the smell, the pranks, the robust work of it all. He reminisces about his work in those days, and tells stories best known to printer's devils and those who labored on the stone.
There is something so beautiful that happens when a thought pops into your head and introduces you to something that you've never thought of before. I was just talking through life with the Lord this morning and suddenly I had a thought that didn't have anything to do with our conversation. But, it was full of life and hope, so I knew it was from Him.He whispered, “Today is so full of possibilities”I sat bolt upright with me eyes wide with wonder.“Wow Lord, I agree. Please tell me more”I remembered that Heb 4:16 had been looping in my head for the past few days, so I went and looked it up.Oh My Word! If you read from verse 14-16 you can see all the possibility we’re being offered (it’s pretty cool in the Message version)Then He brought a story to mind of a friend of mine who said, “yes” to this invitation to adventure, and the wisdom God gave him that NO ONE had ever thought of before!Come and listen to the 13 minute podcast and discover how you can unpack the gift of today too!www.ProsperinmyPurpose.com

Hey y'all! It's been a hot minute since I've recorded a solo episode for y'all. A year ago I was entering the stressful season of NAVLE prep, and OH MY WORD! That was a long arduous exam. But I came out the other side rather un-scathed thanks to the amount of prep work that I put during the months leading up to the exam. In today's episode I wanted to share some of what that work entailed by comparing it to one of my favorite things, running! Now being a year removed from when I first started studying I can say with 100% certainty that training for a long-distance race is very similar to prepping for the NAVLE and in this episode I go through the tips and tricks that I learned from my own long distance training and how to implement them in your own NAVLE prep. This is NOT a "how-to" podcast, but rather a list of "things to consider" as you enter this season of NAVLE prep. I hope this is helpful and provides some encouragement. Have a comment or a question? You can message me on Instagram and Facebook @thatvetlifepodcast . You can also send me a voice recording through the anchor.fm app. Listening on itunes? I often feel that we accept the written word as something that's a given and don't pay much attention to it. We feel that writing isn't hugely important and that it's fine to just jot anything down, without much care or attention. That's often fine and it's great that people give writing a go. In fact, I encourage people to try and express themselves in written form. Keep tweeting, posting, texting and emailing. However, I think that there are times when it's vitally important that the writing is done well and with care - and writing is actually hard if you want to do it well. Yet, in the board game hobby, writing is too often done by the wrong people, which can spoil the game experience.

Wherein it’s Christmas Eve, 130 has no significance, our small friend Jackson, Oh My Word(s), we “peek in our abilities”, to whom do we say Merry Christmas? (another disagreement). We discuss Argo f*ck yourself, MB “trims the tree” (and nearly dies), we make some fat jokes about ourselves, make the mistake you’d prefer to make, we have a big disagreement about “making people feel bad”. Also; DI runs to his car - what parts of DI are arse-clowny - then we exchange Christmas gifts, curmudgeonly. And: we play Top5: things to do in Melbourne, things to do in life, albums, songs, film directors, concerts, comedies, horror, chocolate with nuts in, places we’ve been, hot chips. Plus: this was supposed to be a short one, musicians vs artists, separation of powers, DI is culturally bankrupt, Wog Boy Wog Boy, MERRY CHRISTMAS! www.trcduo.com www.domitaliano.com www.mattbradshaw.com email: podcast@trcduo.com FB: Two Ring Circus FB: Matt Bradshaw FB: Dom Italiano Instagram: instagram.com/trcduo Twitter: twitter.com/trcduo

OH MY WORD! I am so pumped for today! Yesterday, it was so heart-warming to see you being truly vulnerable, admitting your weaknesses and embracing your strengths. I hope you guys are feeling as fired up as I am to create an unforgettable year ahead. Our focus of the day: 90 Day Plan: Creating a rock solid game plan and mapping out your first quarter so you can effortlessly ace your goals. You are going to map out 12 weeks starting January 1st, 2018. That gives you approximately 12 goals to keep you on track. If you’re overwhelmed, that’s okay! Being passionate and creative entrepreneurs, there are always one million and one ideas bombarding our minds, BUT when it comes to implementing them… nothing makes sense. That’s why I urge you to take 30 minutes or an hour out and give it your best, ask your partner to jump in or a friend to help you brainstorm. Post your answers (or if you have any questions) with the hashtag #Plan2Profit #Day4 and let’s crush your goals the right way- one step at a time. Excited to see what your first quarter goals are! I would love you joining me live in my facebook business page www.facebook.com/stacytuschl @12 p.m. Central and let us digest these goals more.

We could give this PODCAST a variety of titles. The Ballad of the Broken and Battered Woman. The Indignation of the Idolatrous “Holy” Man. I prefer the title, Oh.My.Word, for reasons that you will soon hear. We have come to a tipping point in the life and ministry of Jesus. After this encounter with a broken woman and a “holy” man, things will never again be the same for Jesus. The full fury of the religious leaders will come to full flower as a result of this one meal that Jesus shared with this one man and one woman. Please remember that depending upon your web browser and connection speed it may take up to 60 seconds for this podcast to begin to play. God bless you as you listen.
