I'm answering some of the most common questions I get from expecting/new parents: 1. Is it safe for Baby to sleep in their car seat? If so, for how long? 2. If you're expecting another baby (or babies), you might be wondering how you can help your soon to be older kiddo through the transition to having a sibling. It's absolutely common for some kiddos to struggle with how they may be feeling about having a new baby at home, and while it can sometimes seem obvious, it isn't always. Nevertheless, this episode shares what we've experienced bringing 3 kiddos into our home over the years and what we were actually fortunate to learn through that process.Spoiler alert: I do get into a bit about what it was like for my oldest kiddo when we brought Baby home and while I am simplifying the way that it was for the purpose of this particular episode, it really was challenging for us but we by no means blame our daughter! She was experiencing some behaviours that we found challenging to say the least, so we learned ways to help her work through these strong , valid feelings. Strategies we continue to use today in all kinds of parenting situations, so for that we are grateful!
