Ian welcomes the spooky season with a selection of his favourite holiday classics! We kick it off with a ghoulish punk rock anthem from the Misfits, and then blast through some vicious local luminaries including the newest from Hedonist's debut full length, followed by an exhumation of an entire graveyard's worth of iconic doom from Pentagram, Electric Wizard, Candlemass and Black Sabbath. We'll also throw in eerie true metal ghost stories of NWOBHM vintage with Iron Maiden, Witchfinder General and Venom. After a visit from the Rock n Roll Doctor Jim turns Red and Blue talking about the upcoming Baroness show at the Rickshaw Theatre on September 12th, where the band will be playing both albums in their entirety. Jim also got the new Hedonist record in the mail and gives the record it's maiden spin on the air in all of it's glory (keep an eye on this one, it's sure to be on a BUNCH of year end lists). After that we take a trip to Brazil to highlight some new releases out of that country and then we come back for a set of all local acts. Closing out the show Jim plays a track from Megadeth's debut record, earlier this week Dave Mustaine announced Megadeth will record and release one more album followed by one final tour before hanging up the axe.
