In this episode of Tech Talks Daily, Neil is joined by Jose Soto, VP of Engineering at Converge Marketing, to discuss how data democratization transforms performance marketing. Jose highlights a common bottleneck in marketing where engineering teams act as the data gatekeepers, often slowing down marketing efforts. He explains how empowering marketers with self-service access to data through intuitive platforms speeds up decision-making and drives measurable growth for brands. Jose talks about how Converge has broken down data silos by creating clean data pipelines and user-friendly tools that allow non-technical users to interact with data confidently. Instead of relying on engineers, marketing teams now have the freedom to access data, build reports, and analyze trends in real-time. This shift has led to improved agility, better collaboration, and faster campaign optimizations. The conversation also explores the impact of AI and machine learning on marketing. Jose discusses how these technologies are helping marketers make more precise, data-driven decisions by enabling predictive analytics, optimizing creative messaging, and even automating campaign management. As AI continues to evolve, marketing teams can make more informed decisions with greater accuracy. For businesses aiming to stay ahead in the ever-changing marketing landscape, this episode offers valuable insights on empowering teams, streamlining operations, and leveraging data to foster growth. Listen in to discover how Converge is breaking down data barriers and preparing for the future of AI-powered marketing.

This week on Unchained: two big stories, one episode. First, Jesse Pollak, head of Coinbase's L2 Base, joins to unpack the chaos behind the viral “Coined It” memecoin moment, a tweet-turned-token that hit $17M in an hour, crashed, then rebounded, igniting a firestorm on Crypto Twitter. Was it a media experiment or a botched launch? Was there insider trading? And why does Jesse think coins are the future of creator monetization? Then, we dive into Converge, the recently announced chain backed by Ethena and Securitize, aiming to bridge TradFi and DeFi. Carlos Domingo and Guy Young explain what makes Converge technically novel, why they're building on Arbitrum and Celestia, and how it could reshape the onchain landscape for institutions. Also in this episode: Whether Jesse regrets greenlighting the Base post The future of creator coins and tokenized assets How Converge plans to prevent hacks and improve UX And why Converge isn't just about migrating existing assets, but “expanding the pie” Thank you to our sponsors! Bitkey: Use code UNCHAINED for 20% off FalconX Mantle Part 1 Jesse Pollak, Head of Base and Coinbase Wallet On Wednesday, Coinbase's layer 2 network Base posted a tweet that read: “Base is for everyone,” followed by a tweet: “Coined it.” That second tweet linked to a page where the post had already been turned into a coin. Within an hour, the coin hit a $17 million market cap, then dropped to under $2 million, then went back up to over $13 million. Crypto Twitter exploded. Some called it a rug. Others accused insiders of sniping the launch. Coinbase later issued a statement saying that Zora auto-tokenizes content, but Jesse Pollak, head of Base, tweeted that he personally greenlit the post. So what really happened? In this episode, Jesse sits down with Laura to discuss: Whether this was a memecoin launch or a media experiment Why he thinks the crypto community overreacted Whether insider trading occurred And why he believes coins, not NFTs, are the future of creator monetization Plus, he explains why he's okay being the “punching bag.” Part 2 A month ago, Converge was announced as the new chain backed by Ethena and Securitize, aiming to become a home for tokenized assets and institutional capital. On Thursday, the teams behind it released the full technical specs. From validator-triggered circuit breakers to 100ms block times and support for yield-generating private credit, Converge is pitching itself as the chain for both TradFi and DeFi. In this episode, Securitize's Carlos Domingo and Ethena's Guy Young join Unchained to explain what's actually novel in this architecture, why they chose Arbitrum and Celestia, and what it will take for institutions to get comfortable onchain. Plus: What Converge means for Ethereum and other L2s Whether gas tokens like USDe and USDtb solve real UX problems How they plan to prevent bridge-based hacks And why this isn't just about migrating existing assets, but “expanding the pie” Guest Carlos Domingo, co-founder and CEO of Securitize Guy Young, founder of Ethena Labs Links Previous coverage of Unchained on Ethena: After an Incredible 2024 for USDe, Ethena Plans to Supercharge Growth Ethena's USDe Grew to $2 Billion in 7 Weeks. Live from FIBO, the largest fitness show in the world, we're sharing excerpts from the Spa & Wellness International Day, where expert speakers shared innovative business models integrating longevity and wellness with hospitality and membership. Finally. An episode that is less than 2 hours long. It helps that this week we're covering Seizures in Barren Praise by grind/crust band Trap Them. The album is only 10 tracks and 25 minutes total. Compared to the last few episodes this one just BREEZES by! It also helps that Seizures in Barren Praise by Trap Them happens to be one of my favorite albums of all time. Illegally downloading this album from some guy's blogspot page when I was 16 started a snowball effect that would alter how I listened to heavy music going forward which made this a bit of a nostalgia trip for me. We also do our best to parse through the loose plot that makes up the concept of not only this album but all of Trap Them's music up to this point. The vinyl I have here I believe is a second pressing, standard weight on ultra clear vinyl. It comes in a nice enough trifold jacket which shows off the album's full artwork done by Converge vocalist Jacob Bannon. The album sounds perfectly fine. Minimal surface noise but if we're being honest, any surface noise would get lost in the chaos of the album anyway. I picked this up a few years ago used from Pharmacy Records in Greenville which is, for my money, the best place in the upstate to find metal/punk/hardcore records. We're lucky enough to have a few decent record stores here in the upstate but if you're into heavy music at all, Pharmacy is the one you wanna go to. In the news corner this week we check in with our old pal Tim Lambesis and see what his old band members are saying about him. Hint: it's not good. We also check in with what's going on with Death Grips and Andy Morin to see what a new band member is saying about him. In this fascinating episode, Pesach and Doug sit down with entrepreneur, philanthropist, and best-selling author Mark Gerson. Mark is the co-founder and chairman of United Hatzalah of Israel, a revolutionary volunteer emergency medical service saving lives every day. He also co-founded African Mission Healthcare, a groundbreaking organization that supports Christian medical missionaries serving the poorest communities in Africa. We discuss Mark's best-selling book The Telling: How Judaism's Essential Book Reveals the Meaning of Life — an insightful guide to the Pesach Haggadah that has inspired readers of all backgrounds. Then, Mark gives us a preview of his soon-to-be-released book God Was Right: How Modern Social Science Proves the Torah is True. We explore powerful examples from the book — from the biblical wisdom about marriage and clothing to modern scientific studies that now confirm the Torah's ancient truth. In the vast, snow-swept expanses of northern Canada, where the stark beauty of subarctic tundra meets the frigid waters of Hudson Bay, lies a small yet remarkably significant town that has captured the imagination of travelers, scientists, and nature enthusiasts worldwide. Churchill, Manitoba, with fewer than 1,000 year-round residents, might appear an unlikely candidate for international fame, yet this remote outpost has earned its reputation as the undisputed "Polar Bear Capital of the World." This isn't merely a tourism slogan but a testament to a truly extraordinary phenomenon that occurs here annually, drawing people from across the globe to witness one of nature's most spectacular gatherings. Each autumn, as the temperature drops and winter begins its inexorable approach, hundreds of magnificent polar bears – the world's largest land carnivores – converge on Churchill's shores, creating a wildlife spectacle unmatched anywhere on earth. The bears' migration patterns have made this small Canadian town the premier destination for those seeking to observe these majestic creatures in their natural habitat, all while experiencing the raw, unfiltered beauty of one of North America's last great wilderness frontiers.Support the showTripCast360 --- It's all about travel, lifestyle and entertainment.Web: TripCast360.com.Twit: https://twitter.com/TripCast360FB: https://www.facebook.com/TripCast360Insta: https://www.instagram.com/tripcast360/

Meanwhile, Securitize unveiled Converge, a cutting-edge EVM-compatible Layer-1 blockchain that seamlessly integrates traditional finance with decentralized finance for tokenized assets and digital dollars.~This Episode is Sponsored By Coinbase~ Get up to $200 for getting started on Coinbase➜ https://bit.ly/CBARRON00:00 Intro00:15 Sponsor: Coinbase00:33 BlackRock BUIDL Explodes01:26 Growth Rate02:07 Securitize Unveils New blockchain on Ethereum 02:45 TradFi to Defi Opportunity03:09 BlackRock head of digital assets03:40 BlackRock Team Prefers Ethereum04:11 Avalanche will onboard banks & neobanks06:00 Vlad: Robinhood roadmap06:36 Uniswap growth06:51 ETH Validators climbing again07:15 Robinhood Wealth Transfer07:51 Etherealize08:15 NYSE: ETH winning over boomers10:24 Ethereum = Amazon growth?11:08 Outro#Ethereum #Crypto #cryptocurrency ~BlackRock Goes All-In on Ethereum!
In this episode we have the opportunity to interview our new friend, Shaun Brooker, who serves as Head of School at Hamilton Christian School in Hamilton, New Zealand. It was a pleasure to meet Shaun in person at the recent Converge conference in Orlando, and we were delighted that Shaun was able to join us for the show, despite the time difference between the Waikato region in New Zealand and Northwest Iowa–he is 18 hours ahead of us! Shaun is a thoughtful, passionate leader, as you will find as you listen. In this wide-ranging conversation about Christian education, Shaun shares his vision for the Kingdom work we get to engage in as Christian educators. We hope you'll be blessed by this conversation, and we suspect this is not the last time we'll have Shaun on the show. At the end of the episode Dave asks Shaun about an important piece he has written entitled “The Letter,” which we hope everyone will read. You can find this piece here: The Letter. Hallway Conversations is sponsored by the Center for the Advancement of Christian Education. You can learn more about the good work CACE is doing at https://cace.org/
