#LaGaleríaNocturna #Decortication #DeathMetalMexicano GothProds Links Apple Podcast — https://podcasts.apple.com/mx/podcast/goth-prods/id1606324255?l=en Amazon Music — https://music.amazon.com.mx/podcasts/d10f63b6-f4f3-4a91-b21d-d98c2b08ca01/goth-prods?ref=dm_sh_xBGgYoDaqnREmWm0IoJu5r4kd Audible — https://www.audible.com/pd?asin=B09Q9YY6PF&source_code=ASSORAP0511160006&share_location=podcast_show_detail Facebook — https://www.facebook.com/Goth-Prods-104237088306624/ Instagram — https://www.instagram.com/goth_prods/ TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@goth_prods

Welcome back metalheads to a brand new episode of The Great Metal Debate podcast. Its Xander back with a new album review. Today I will be talking about the Nashville based thrash metal band called Dead Alive and this is their sophomore record titled The Madness of Dr. Ludvig Von Brainmatter. The intro track sets the black and white monster movie vibe. That sort of retro feel is most likely what they were going for. That mad scientist and Frankenstein type of classic horror. This of course leads us into our first track "Exhumed" I love how the vocals for this song are a screeching whisper style. Halfway through the song we get a chug guitar riff that will definitely cause involuntary head banging. The next track "Re-Agent", its accompanied by a very well made music video so you should go give it a watch if you haven't already. The pacing of the music in this one has a slower tune but that does not subtract quality at all. If you want a fast thrash metal track, look no further than "Flip The Switch". The bass line played by Dedmen Walken is groovy and it perfectly eases you into this rager of a song. While I was listening to this album in my car the other day I was shouting along to the course. The words "Flip The Switch" will not only get stuck in your head but the non-course parts of the song will remind you a lot of old school Overkill. After that memorable track we have my personal favorite song on this album "Volt". I like this one a lot because it leans heavily into the death trash subgenre. It is without a doubt the fastest song on the record. Deadbeat did a fantastic job pounding away on drums for not just this song but nearly every song on this album. In fact, his abilities really shine on "No Signs of Life" as well. Once again I'm impressed by his drumming skills. "Hollow Man" ... Oh you know what? I actually almost bought that movie the other day from a used DVD store. I'm kicking myself for not but maybe I'll swing by later and dammit, I'm getting off the subject again. Yes, this next song has the same title of that old 2000 flick but I'm unsure if the lyrics have anything to do with the film. The lyrics aren't provided on metal-archives at this time. One song that I think would be awesome played live is "Fear ... Conditioned". The rhythm of it will get people's heads nodding for sure! The song "Gone Mad" surely doesn't disappoint either but after that one, we get the longest song on The Madness of Dr. Ludvig Von Brainmatter titled "From Beyond". The runtime clocks in at just over six and a half minutes. Definitely lengthy for a thrash metal track but as a Kreator fan, it doesn't bother me. Lastly we have "Live Wire" which serves as the perfect closer to this album. Remember how I said this album had a Frankenstein feel to it? Well this one begins with a mad scientist shouting "it's alive". As it should. Electrical shock is essential for reanimating corpses in a castle laboratory. The music itself has a mid-80s thrash metal that is reminiscent of Nuclear Assault. My final thoughts on this album is that it's very solid. Anyone who knows me personally knows that I'm usually quite picky when it comes to thrash metal. But when it comes to this independent release, I feel like their gimmick is useful in the way that it helps them stand out. Of course they are all very talented musicians too. I'll give my buddy and the rest of his band a 7.5 out of 10. The drawback for me is the studio production. Having listened to this album four times in a row, I can tell you that the sound doesn't seem to be as crystal clear as it should. I'm not sure if that was a creative choice to make the recording sound old and less polished. If they were going for the analog/listening to this through a cassette tape on an old boom box then cool. I personally like the sharper and cleaner sound of modernized digital. But I'm sure there are many thrash heads out there who will dig this great album even more than I did.

Gary and Tyler dive deep into the latest releases from the heavy music scene. The episode kicks off with a discussion about Lakeview's latest album, which features a guitarist with Christian hardcore roots. The hosts are split over its autotuned sound but highlight the involvement of Cody from Wage War, who helped write and produce the album, adding an interesting twist to the country rock vibes. The main attraction is August Burns Red's new single "Exhumed." The hosts are thrilled that the band returned to their roots, delivering a heavy, classic metalcore sound with chunky guitar riffs and powerful breakdowns. This new track evokes nostalgia for August Burns Red's earlier work, and the hosts can't help but wonder if the band will play it as an encore at Furnace Fest. Another highlight comes from the band Underoath, who dropped a new track, "Teeth." While it strays from their traditional metalcore style and flirts with electronic influences, Tyler appreciates the genre-bending, while Gary struggles with the shift. The episode also features music from up-and-coming Christian metal acts like Floodgate, Forthteller, and Take, showcasing their intense spirit-filled hardcore anthems. The hosts encourage listeners to check out these fresh releases, predicting that these bands will become household names in the Christian metal community. The hosts end on a note of gratitude, celebrating the tight-knit community of Christian metal enthusiasts who engage with their content and provide invaluable feedback. The Tularosa basin in New Mexico has a rather unusual history. The stories and legends are prolific in the histories of the peoples who have passed through it over the centuries. There are colorful tales of rich deposits of minerals, cowboy's, Indian's, and outlaws. And, more legends of UFO's and aliens from other worlds than you shake a stick at. And it is possible that some of these stories might even be true. Some claimed this never happened, but the rumors were out there. Somebody told somebody, and a few years later somebody told somebody else, and then the treasure hunt began - for the worst ever video game ever. This particular urban legend, which is supposed to have happened in the early 1980s, was finally proven true. In 2014, the exhumation began in that landfill in Alamogordo, and a portion of those lost E.T. game cartridges were found. Finally – at the bottom of the hole, they hit pay dirt. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 1300 games were recovered. A team from the University of South Florida and Pennsylvania State Police has exhumed the body of Dauphin County's last John Doe in hopes to identify him through DNA samples. Dr. Erin Kimmerle is an Associate Professor at the Department of Anthropology College of Arts and Sciences at the University of South Florida. Dr. Kimmerle began working with Pennsylvania State Police to exhume John Doe and John Cases in the state. Just last week, Dr. Kimmerle was in Dauphin County at Potter's field where the last John Doe was buried. “We use heavy equipment to get it started, to take off the top layer of soil and grass, and then the rest is done by hand and excavation, just to make sure, everything is complete, and you just see a big range of in terms of, you know, preservation what's there based on each case, “said Dr. Kimmerle. Dr. Kimmerle said the exhumation process was very smooth, and state officials had marked the location prior to getting to the field, and that saved a lot of time. She says DNA has come a long way since the 1980's. “We have so many success stories now with DNA testing and specifically genetic genealogy, that I'm just very, very hopeful that we will all be able to figure out who he is and what happened to him, “said Dr. Kimmerle. Dr. Kimmerle and her team from the University of South Florida is also traveling around the state to help other agencies with solving cases similar to this one.Support WITF: https://www.witf.org/support/give-now/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Original Airdate 9/28/16Tonight's show has the guys discussing Every Time I Die's latest! From http://epitaph.com“The whole winter, the temperature was in the low teens. Bitterly cold,” says Every Time I Die's front man Keith Buckley regarding the months that yielded their eighth full-length album. But Keith and the rest of the band Jordan Buckley (guitar), Andy Williams (guitar), Daniel Davison (drums), and Steve Micciche (bass) aren't so hard up for pathos at this point that they're grumbling about the temperature outside. If anything, Low Teens is their most poignant and impassioned album in a career full of sardonic illuminations and pit-inciting fervor. The band was on tour in Toronto in December when Keith received a phone call that his wife was in the hospital with a life-threatening pregnancy complication. It was a harrowing night as Buckley left the tour and raced home to overwhelming uncertainty. Both wife and daughter survived the ordeal, but the moment of crisis had a lasting impact on Buckley and an inevitable role in shaping the lyrical scope of Low Teens.Low Teens' razor-sharp sound and auditory barbarism was abetted by engineer and producer Will Putney (Acacia Strain, Body Count, Exhumed). Low Teens' guest vocalists further demonstrate these polarized extremes, with formidable bellower Tim Singer (Deadguy, Kiss It Goodbye, No Escape) roaring alongside Buckley on opening track “Fear and Trembling” and longtime friend Brendan Urie (Panic! at the Disco) providing a melodic counterpoint on “It Remembers”. Yes, Every Time I Die has always juggled hardcore urgency, metal brutalism, and rock melodies, but never has it felt this instinctive or this vicious. The pressure drop that yielded Low Teens could have crippled a lesser band, but Every Time I Die weathered the winter to deliver their strongest offering to date because of, not in spite of, these hardships and roadblocks.Disclaimer: The following may contain offensive language, adult humor, and/or content that some viewers may find offensive – The views and opinions expressed by any one speaker does not explicitly or necessarily reflect or represent those of Mark Radulich or W2M Network.Mark Radulich and his wacky podcast on all the things:https://linktr.ee/markkind76alsoFB Messenger: Mark Radulich LCSWTiktok: @markradulichtwitter: @MarkRadulichInstagram: markkind76RIBN Album Playlist: https://suno.com/playlist/91d704c9-d1ea-45a0-9ffe-5069497bad59

This week we continue our chronicle of Night Demon's historic 2014 North American run with the mighty Raven. We pick up the story 10 shows deep, as the tour rolls into California. You will hear about the humbling challenges and karmic rewards the touring bands faced in playing modest venues in San Marcos and Isla Vista. We unearth raw, powerful audio clips of these performances, including a crushing version of "Road Racin'" into "Ancient Evil." Jarvis explains why Night Demon drove hours out of their way to spend as many nights as possible at home in Ventura. And he recounts the pitfalls of a door deal show on a Sunday night in Vegas with no hotel rooms to be found. Listen at nightdemon.net/podcast or anywhere you listen to podcasts! The body of Stephen Smith has been exhumed. Smith's death was initially investigated as a hit-and-run but investigators say the evidence did not support that as a cause of death. Smith's body was discovered on a rural road in Hampton county back in 2015. Now that a new autopsy has been done, the investigation is just beginning. Nancy Grace speaks with Criminal Defense Attorney and former FBI agent Dale Carson about what will happen next and how police will uncover what happened over eight years ago on a desolate stretch of road. Information on the new autopsy has not be released yet. Meanwhile, news of two possible persons of interest has come to light. Investigation into those leads are continuing. Stephen Smith's body was discovered on a rural road in Hampton county back in 2015. Just 2-weeks ago the South Carolina law enforcement division announced they are now investigating Smith's death as a homicide.
