After a bit of a hiatus due to Rogue spending every waking hour trading dog coins, GoodWill Yunting is back with an incredible, can't miss AI episode. He is joined by Adam B. Levine and Coin Artist from the AI project Blockade Labs. Blockade is known for their signature skybox product in which a matter of seconds users can input a prompt and generate a fully immersive, interactable AI world. Adam and Coin Artist start by introducing themselves, their background being super early to bitcoin, and what got them interested in AI and art. They then dive right into Blockade and how we are soon approaching a future where everyone will be able to build their own immersive worlds and video games in 10 minutes without needing any skill. They explain how this leads to a new level of content creation and experience sharing from everything to VR to games to movies. Anyone will be able to utilize AI will be an expert in the field they are wishing to create things in, leading to an explosion of new content in the world. We then discuss the possibilities of integrating blockchain into AI and gaming tech in beneficial ways. They leak some alpha on AI agents, which they think will be the future of gaming. These AI agents will fill these many worlds we built, and we will be able to play games passively or actively with them. In this new and absolutely incredible episode of GWY, we sit down with one of the founders of Parallel as well as a member of the Echelon Foundation. We start by discussing what Parallel is and how Kalos feels about its overwhelming success so far. We then move onto the question of how Parallel will overcome any NFT/crypto related resistance from traditional gamers as well as  what scaling looks like for Parallel as the game expands. This leads into a talk about how they plan to incentivize and reward new players to the ecosystem. Next we discuss how Parallel can utilize both traditional revenue models such as a Game Pass, and new Web3 only revenue models such as unique sinks. We end the Parallel discussion by talking about how it's the first actual digitally verifiably rare trading card game. But Parallel TCG isn't the only game the studio is building. We dive deep into Colony, the AI game being built by the studio that they call the first ever 1.5 player video game. We discuss how the AI here isn't a gimmick as with other companies, but it is a technology that creates a purely unique experience that touches our humanity, so much so that players who have played it hate any new updates because it means the "death," as they call it, of their old AI companion. Colony is able to utilize AI that refines your gaming experience through memory and lived experience. Kalos gives us many crazy stories of AI creating/coding items that did not exist in the game before, AI becoming musicians and being able to ask the for the sheet music, and AI thinking they've gone crazy. We end the Colony discussion by talking about avatars role in Colony and what future scaling could look like. Finally, Kalos gives us some release dates on the next biggest things coming for Parallel. If you enjoyed the episode, please subscribe, rate, and share so we can continue to get amazing, alpha dropping guests. In our new GoodWill Yunting episode, we invite back on our old friends Anon Intern and Bruce from Apollo DAO. Apollo was originally built on Terra but since the crash they have regrouped and built out an exciting new protocol on the Cosmos chain. We begin by talking about why they originally chose to build out in the Luna chain. They discuss the opportunity they saw of bringing and capturing value to a new, budding ecosystem despite knowing the risks of the algorithmic stable coin. After the downfall of Luna, they didn't give up but instead decided to build out a new and upgraded protocol on Cosmos using all they had learned. They discuss why they chose to build out on Cosmos SDK, what opportunities they see there, and all the exciting projects being created and utilized in the ecosystem. We get into the first product launched on Apollo, leveraged LP vaults. Discussing the leveraged LP vaults, it becomes clear why it's a great foundational building block for the platform and the Cosmos ecosystem in whole, such as how leveraged LP positions create a new level of customization and management for Liquidity Providing users. The conversation begins with talk of how degens can use the protocol's under-collateralized vaults for leveraged longs, shorts, yield farming, and more. Snarks and Ruvaag mention the protocol's goal to be a composability and infrastructure layer for users, devs and protocols across DeFi. We discuss how Sentiment allows for very simple to very complex degen strategies for every part of the bell curve, strats that can include yield bearing tokens, LP tokens, and option strats. Snarks speaks to their vision of allowing for devs to build strategies on top of Sentiment and use the margin accounts to source liquidity and use Sentiment as a distribution channel. This episode is truly a treat as we have on two crypto giga-brains to talk about the value, functions, and future (or lack thereof) of VCs in crypto. The episode begins by us getting into both guest's backgrounds. Dan mentions that in the early days in crypto weren't a constant bombardment and at times he worried that crypto might be a flash in the pan. To set the background to the episode we discuss what the function of a VC is, and Jason drops some interesting history and goals of past and current VCs. We dive into the idea that if capital is abundant in crypto, why should projects raise from VCs and not retail in one way or another? Jason talks about how in the early days Spartan had trouble raising capital for now billion dollar, blue-chip protocols. Jason and Dan discuss how the current narrative of VCs always playing  on easy mode isn't going to last as looking at the past many VCs died in 2017-2018 and many will die if we hit another bear. Next we get into the SEC vs. crypto theories of keeping all markets open vs. some level of gatekeeping, and which is actually better for retail. Of course we discuss the current markets and what in god's name is happening there. I bring up the Pantera report of which me and Dan are a bit skeptical of some of their deductions. Finally, we get to the shill yo bag section where Jason drops his must-buy crypto and Dan's audio recording unfortunately drops out at the very end. Overall all this episode will give you a completely different perspective on the future of VCs in crypto, surviving in the markets, the history of crypto, and how to make it in this crazy game. If you enjoyed the episode, please subscribe, rate, and share so we can continue to get amazing, alpha dropping guests.
