Oi! So you wanna join our crew eh? This is Kaizoku Uncharted, where a couple of siblings sail the vast sea of anime. If you think this is the crew for you, set sail with us, every Monday! Website: https://kaizokuunchartedpodcast.wordpress.com IG: @team_kaizoku_uncharted
This week on Kaizoku Uncharted, we're narrowing it down to see which shows we're committing to for the Spring season. Tune in to hear which shows they're dropping, which ones they're keeping, and if we're adding any new ones to the roster. These past 3 weeks of shows were strong! It was a slow start from the news to the first show discussed, but we get more animated starting at 5:40. Jakia doesn't think the parents looked long enough for her in The Beginning After The End. Justin is furious that we haven't learned more about Frank in WindBreaker. And the crew is bringing on a new show, Sword of the Demon Hunter. We need some explanation for these time gaps. In My Hero Vigilantes, we are getting the backstory of the making of Stain. Still confused how Knuckleduster isn't a real hero, but Jakia still thinks he's a menace to society. And we're not gonna hate on someone's commitment, we're looking at you Stain. In I Left My A Rank Party, we're impressed by the world-building and how The One Gold came to be, and as always, thank goodness that Lucent is here. Soooo much happened in Apothecary Diaries! It's up there for anime of the year! All this and more in this week's episode of Kaizoku Uncharted.Shows DiscussedOnce Upon a Witch's Death Old Country Bumpkin The Beginning After The End Wind Breaker Sword of the Demon Hunter My Hero Vigilantes Aharen-san Season 2 The Brilliant Healer's New Life In The Shadows Teogonia I Left My A Rank Party Apothecary Diaries Season 2 One Piece
We're staying off course in this week's episode of Kaizoku Uncharted with The Notorious Talker! Tune in as the crew discusses Noel on his journey of becoming the world's strongest Seeker, a rare class, Talker. Jakia's confused as to how being a Talker is a weak class. We don't know about you, but we're rooting for Noel and all his notoriety, schemes, and the like.
Tune in to this week's episode of Kaizoku Uncharted! We're going off the course to discuss Demon Lord 2099. Jakia and Justin wonder, was Marcus always trash? Will Vel ever increase his powers through streaming? Will Machina stop leaving? And will Takahashi earn the title of vassal? So many questions.
The new anime season is here! We're talking cabbages in Aharen-san Season 2, the differences between a hi-jinks show and a shenanigans show. Jakia catches Justin off guard with The Beginning After The End, and he's in utter disbelief. A thousand tears in a year is just too much in Once Upon a Witch's Death, especially for Meg Raspberry. In Apothecary Diaries, Jakia needs the Diamond Pavilion to step it up in letting some people go. One Piece is back, and we're always down to discuss One Piece. It's an action-packed episode, and we don't want to spoil it here. So tune in to hear our initial thoughts on the new anime season. Let us know what shows you're watching and what you thought of this episode.Shows DiscussedWitch Watch Aharen-san wa Hakarenai Season 2 The Beginning After the End My Hero Academia: Vigilantes From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman Once Upon a Witch's Death Teogonia The Brilliant Healer's New Life in the Shadows Wind Breaker Season 2 I Left my A-Rank Party Apothecary Diaries One Piece
In this week's episode of Kaizoku Uncharted, we're going off course, discussing A Journey Through Another World: Raising Kids While Adventuring. This show was Jakia's recommendation. Tune in to hear Justin and Jakia's thoughts on this show. Why did Jakia suggest this anime? Are there too many shenanigans? Does Justin think these are just some biscuit-headed kids constantly getting in the way, or will they actually pull their weight?
And we're back with another episode of Kaizoku Uncharted! This week we're closing out the Winter 2025 anime season! Tune in to hear Jakia and Justin's thoughts on the remaining episodes and what they rank each show. Lastly, the crew shares their most anticipated shows for the Spring 2025 anime season. All this and more in this week's episode of Kaizoku Uncharted.Shows Discussed I May Be a Guild Receptionist, but I'll solo any boss to clock out on time Ameku MD Doctor Detective Flower and Asura Possibly the greatest alchemist of all time I left my A Rank Party Sakamoto Days Shangri-La Frontier Apothecary Diaries Solo Leveling
This week we're discussing one our favorite reincarnated shows...drumroll...As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I'll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World Season 2. We love this show! We love Pham! We love the Maitro Company! We're excited to see some new combos, Frietz and Joe. Justin thinks that Ars may be coming for the throne and he will if the King doesn't get some better left and right handed people. Jakia doesn't think Ars is going after the throne, but that's a conversation for another day. Renge has not redeemed himself in Jakia's eyes. She's not championing a stole away. You want redemption?! Let's see some initiative outside of the support of Licia. But what we do know is that Jean is a bad man! And he's always been that man from a young age. All this and more in this week's episode of Kaizoku Uncharted.
Trigger warning: in this episode, we do discuss death by suicide; viewer discretion is advised. We're finally discussing No Longer Allowed in Another World. As mentioned earlier in this episode, themes of death by suicide are discussed frequently. Jakia loves this show, from the intro, outro, the characters, and more. She needs to see a season 2, so hopefully, there is one in the making. Justin doesn't think that anything was accomplished. The siblings discuss how the world is rampant with other worlders and how alot of them are useless. Jakia questions what the true purpose of a lototherworlders are and if there are more of them coming to defeat the Demon King. Justin is a fan of the antics throughout the show and questions if Sacchan is the true reason she and Sensei were summoned to the world. All we do know is that Sacchan believes he's changed. Who are the remaining individuals from the seven fallen angels? Is the bar tender the leader? All this and more in this week's episode of Kaizoku Uncharted.
Tune in as the crew discusses Dandadan. Jakia shares an unpopular opinion that she can't stand this show and believes that she is not the targeted audience. But admits that there are some cool concepts that they are bringing together, the occult and the supernatural. A big question for Jakia is where are the parents? What's going on? Justin defends as to why the grandma doesn't help us out more and Jakia needs to pull out a map. Jakia just wants these kids to have an adult to help them out, they just need a little help. Justin needs some answers after the intense backstories we're getting? Where's the daughter? We stan for Turbo Granny, she's a menace to society and she knows it. The crew both thought that the way the show ended wasn't great. But hey, we know that these are unpopular opinions. How did ya'll find Dandadan? Did you like it? Do you stan for it? Let us know.
This week we're covering episodes 7 through 9 of the Winter 2025 season. We are starting off with I May Just Be a Guild Receptionist, but I'll Solo any Boss to Clock out on time, Jakia shares her theory about who the man in black is that is involved in the summoning of Dark Gods. Justin still can't stand Alina and her big-head character energy. And both are up to here with Lululee. Why are we getting so much backstory? In Ameku MD Detective, Jakia claims that it has one of the saddest episodes of the season, possibly the year. Justin is excited that she's finally getting what is coming to her. And Jakia immediately doesn't trust the mom, and she was right! And she wants to see some parents getting phone calls! We are getting tired of the merchant in Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time. Like, can we have some stuff for ourselves? And Justin never trusted him! Jakia wonders when Takumi and the summoned heroes will finally meet. In Sakamoto Days, the crew thinks that they just need to give Heisuke a job, put him on the schedule, and get that man an apron and nametag. Jakia is confused as to why all the assassins are taking public transportation. Justin is confused as to why people did not like the mom episode in Solo Leveling, especially considering that Jinwoo did it all for her. Jakia brings up another theory about whether or not Jinwoo is being used by the system. All this and more in this week's episode of Kaizoku Uncharted!Shows DiscussedI may be a Guild Receptionist, but I'll solo any boss to clock out on timeAmeku M.D Doctor Detective Possibly The Greatest Alchemist Of All TimeI Left My A-Rank Party to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths!Flower and Asura Shangri-La Frontier Sakamoto DaysApothecary Diaries Season 2Solo Leveling Season 2
In this week's episode we've set a course for Tower of God Season 2! Tune in to hear the crew's thoughts about the season, the introduction of new characters, how the world, or rather the tower continues to grow, and how they still can't stand Rachel. Justin and Jakia get into it briefly about Rachel's relevance. And still confused why Bam still chooses Rachel. We stan for Khun and him playing the long game for revenge. We love to see it! And Justin brings up a great question: Was last season's group the Golden Age of the Tower? All this and more in this week's episode!
We're talking Shangri-La this week in Kaizoku Uncharted! Tune in to hear Justin and Jakia's recap of season 2 in preparation for the current season. Justin loves the show! Jakia isn't a fan of the alliance because of Pencilgon and Justin doesn't stan with the SLF Zoo guild. Getting into Rabituza continues to be a hot topic for many players. The crew is shocked as we learn so much more about Lycagon and the other Colossi! So much information! We also hope that Pencilgon and Sunraku help out Katsu. We're learning more about the world and how long it truly is, which is perfect right before the new SLF update drops.
This week, we've narrowed it down to which shows we're committing to this anime season! Starting with Ameku MD Detective, it's nothing but curses and spontaneous combustion! Justin is up to here with Dr. Takao Ameku and her big-headed tendencies. Jakia was blindsided and shocked to find out who was responsible and who Professor Murato really was and how Kagaya was indeed a liar. In Guild Receptionist, Justin is a stan for Cybil and we're getting ready for the Centennial Festival. Both Justin and Jakia are wondering when the guild will finally hire more help because we don't see any additional desks, people, or nothing. In Sakamoto Days, Jakia and Justin applaud Sakamoto for his honesty to his wife. And they are shocked by how many one-sided friendships Sakamoto has. It seems that everyone besides Nagumo is in some lala land. As per usual Solo leveling does not disappoint. It continues to hit episode after episode! No wonder it crashed so many anime sites. We're no longer faking it here and we finally get re-re-assessed and all we can say is just watch the news tomorrow. Justin hopes that Jin Woo will reconsider the Hunter Association's offer. All this and more in this week's episode of Kaizoku Uncharted! Shows Discussed:Ameku MD Detective I may be a guild receptionist, but I'll solo any boss to clock out on timeI Left My A-Rank Party To Help My Former Students Reach The Dungeon DepthsPossibly the Greatest Alchemist of All TimeFlower and Asura Apothecary DiariesSakamoto Days Solo Leveling Season 2: Arise from the Shadows
Tune in this week as we discuss Summer 2024's anime Dungeon People on Kaizoku Uncharted! What we found interesting is how this show gives us the inner workings of what goes into daily dungeon management and maintenance. Jakia thinks that this dungeon needs more floors and Justin begs to differ. Clay is great! No complaints here! Jakia appreciates that both Clay and Belle are OP. She needs more info about Belle, but will she ever get it? Clay's father's training requirements were questionable at first, but came to appreciate later. The turnaround kings, The Ice Wolves, prove Justin's point about whether or not there needs to be more floors. Have you watched Dungeon People? What were your thoughts?
This week on Kaizoku Uncharted we're going off course discussing Bleach: Thousand Year War – The Conflict Season 2. Justin is relieved that we finally hear the words we've been wanting to hear from Uryuu Ishida, but he's not ready to put Ywach into the book. Jakia is over this narrative where Ichigo is the savior of all three worlds when he doesn't have that many moves and not taking the time to think things through. Disappointment is here with the Squad Zero and Jakia can't take this war seriously if the Quincies are constantly getting healed and power boosted every 5 minutes. Like are you truly that strong if you are constantly being healed and receiving power boosts from others' powers? And the question on everyone's mind is, why is Chad here? Why are we constantly bringing low-quality people to the fight? And why are we doing Aizen like this? All this and more in this week's episode of Kaizoku Uncharted.
And we're back! Literally picking up where we left off. In part two of our intro to Winter 2025 anime season, we're talking Grasia Phantom Trigger, Flower and Asura, Sakomoto Days, Apothecary Diaries, Solo Leveling. As always, let us know which shows your watching this season. What are you dropping and what's going on the backburner?
Its Winter 2025 and we're ready to discuss the season! Historically the winter anime season is strong, will it be this time around? Tune in as Justin and Jakia discuss their most anticipated shows and determine which shows they will continue to discuss for the season. We're talking the first three episodes, because we love to binge. Let us know which shows you're enjoying, dropping or putting on the back burner. Stay tuned for part two! Shows Discussed Ubel Blatt I May Be a Guild Receptionist, but I'll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time Headhunted to Another World: From Salaryman to Big Four! The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer in Another World
We're talking Quality Assurance In Another World in this week's episode of Kaizoku Uncharted! Quality Assurance dropped in Summer 2024. Jakia feels betrayed by Quality Assurance. She thought it would be a cute and chill show where they checked the quality of various materials, weapons, etc. But boy was she wrong, it was nothing of the short. Justin admits that there needs to be a line drawn on what is considered a dragon and Jakia thinks maybe the creature was called that due to its size and having a tail. Tune in to hear the crew discuss the show and see which people they add to the Can't Stand book.
Welcome back to another week of Kaizoku Uncharted! We're going off-course with Summer 2024's Elusive Samurai. If there is anything that Jakia has taken away from this show is that hide and go seek and tag may one day save your life, so play it more and often. Tune in to hear Jakia and Justin discuss the show, characters they can't stand, what they like, and more.
This week the Kaizoku Uncharted crew is back and we're hitting the ground running! We're picking up where we left off, by going over My Hero Academia Season 7, Blue Lock Season 2 and One Piece! Do our eyes deceive us, is that Stain? And Spinner needs to understand that he is no Stain and he never will be. Shoji and Koji were handling business at the hospital and the doctors and nurses were ready to take on that mob. And Jakia keeps that same energy for Endeavor and Justin thinks All for One is a loser. And chef's kiss to the Sad Man Parade. In the world of Blue Lock, Jakia and Justin are still shocked and bewildered that the 'Useful Monk' is around, because he hasn't shown us anything. We love to see a ranking and appreciate the top 7, and Jakia isn't surprised that Bachira made the cut, because he's about it. We love to see some new people and Shidou Ryuusei can do no wrong in her eyes. Justin continues his stan for Kid and Jakia isn't impressed by him challenging Shanks and she's confused as to who these people are in Kid's crew. We learn more about SWORD! They are people who don't have anything to lose and we love it! Justin and Jakia also share what shows they are looking forward to in the Winter 2025 season. It's a jam-packed episode with a lot to cover, so tune in to hear more. Shows Discussed: My Hero Academia Season 7 Blue Lock Season 2 One Piece Winter 2025 Most Anticipated

And we're back with a new episode of Kaizoku Uncharted! This week in Re:Monster, Jakia, and Justin are appreciating the time update of how many days it has been, the growth of the new generation of goblins, and how they are expanding their mercenary operations. We're starting to see some standouts, and the world is expanding with the introduction of the Braves. It's getting real in As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I'll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World, with the introduction of the forgery of signatures of neighboring provinces, and the use of mercenaries. Is this the start of new allies? Justin and Jakia are getting annoyed with Kafka in Kaijuu No.8. How long will this Kaijuu gag bit go on for? The crew needs to see something from these Hashira! They discuss how strong can you be if you haven't encountered a upper level demon. Jakia goes in as to why Rengoku's death was disrespectful. All this and more in this week's episode of Kaizoku Uncharted. Shows Discussed: Re:Monster Train to the End of the World As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I'll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World Wind Breaker Kaijuu No. 8 My Hero Academia Demon Slayer - Hashira Training Arc One Piece

Just as the title of the show suggests, this anime series takes a different spin on some of the classic Grimm Fairy Tales: Cinderella, Hansel and Gretel, Little Red Riding Hood, The Pied Piper, The Elves and the Shoemaker, and The Town of Musicians. Tune in to hear their takes on these iterations of the classic fairy tales.

Jakia and Jenae are uncertain, but Justin gives his take on it. It gets heated in the world of My Hero Academia, as per usual. Jakia still doesn't think that Endeavor should be considered the No.1 and asks the question, 'Where was he? In One Piece, Jenae is confused to how Kaku is still among us. All this and more in this week's episode of Kaizoku Uncharted Shows Discussed Train to the end of the world Oblivion Battery Kaijuu No.8 Re:Monster As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I'll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World Wind Breaker My Hero Academia Demon Slayer - Hashira Training Arc One Piece

This week, join the crew as we dive into the spring anime season. We're talking new shows and One Piece! In Oblivion Battery, Jenae brings up her ongoing question, who is the main character? Justin and Jakia are fine with multiple main characters, and Jenae doesn't think its Yamada. The crew doesn't necessarily trust Juiz and are looking forward to seeing this ark. Jakia thinks that Unknown is that guy and the real mvp. Will Fuko continue to develop her Unluck? Will we ever get Andy's origin story? All this and more in this week's episode of Kaizoku Uncharted!

We made it! It's the final week of the fall season! Tune in as Justin and Jakia share their final thoughts of the season and which shows their hype for their continuation. Zom 100 has been quite bold since the summer, but the crew is happy with how it ended. It would have ranked higher for Jakia if there weren't so many delays with Zom. In Jujutsu Kaisen, Justin finally gets onboard with the important questions, like, where is the principal? As always Dark Gathering can do no wrong, just a great show from start to finish. All this and more in this week's episode of Kaizoku Uncharted! Let us know how what you thought of this season. What were your favorites?
We're back with another episode of Kaizoku Uncharted! As the fall season winds down, Jakia and Justin are still hyped and excited about Dark Gathering. They can't stand Dorothy, so she may get into the book this week. In Jujutsu Kaisen, Todou's imagination never disappoints, come through with the locket and Jakia is satisfied with how Yuji is giving Mahito the business, but the siblings aren't happy with how it ended. All this and more in this week's episode! You can follow us on our website at or on the gram @team_kaizoku_uncharted We'd love to hear from you, so give us a review and follow us where you listen to your podcasts.
This week on Kaizoku Uncharted, Jakia and Justin pick up where they left off with the fall season of shows. Jakia shares that she's still into Spy Family Season 2, whereas Justin thinks it's been more of a softer and calmer season and doesn't have as much impact as other shows this season. It escalated quickly in Migi & Dali and Jakia was right about the connection between the twins and Eiji. In Jujutsu Kaisen, Jakia isn't ready to put Mahito into the book, because everything he's doing is in alignment with his character. But Justin and Jakia both got hyped when they saw Todo start to clap! Jakia is smug in One Piece, highlighting that Luffy did have intentions of Yamato joining the Strawhats. There's a mini discussion on Blackbeard and what he's been up to and more! Tune in to hear their most anticipated for the winter season. All this and more in this week's episode of Kaizoku Uncharted!
Welcome back to Kaizoku Uncharted! This week, we're talking Hi-Dive! Jakia and Justin pick up where they left off on Ragna Crimson and Justin wonders 'Was Kia right?' Ragna is being a hothead, but we'll allow it considering the main goal, Lord Slime is coming through with the most pertinent information at all times and we're seeing the world continue to expand with the introduction of new characters, Starlia and her unit. Dark Gathering is never disappointing. Justin and Jakia agree that what happened to that boy was terrible and they aren't upset with him and his actions. Otogiri, the oiran spirit, is putting on a show and her backstory left us with much more respect for her in her getting things done. In One Piece, we've finally left the land of Wano (see ya later Momo), and we get an update on the crews' bounty increase. Jakia and Justin go over the new bounties and their thoughts on the increases. They continue the conversation about the power shift, dynamics, and role of the crew members from this point onward. All to say, Justin needs them to show him something. All this and more in this week's episode of Kaizoku Uncharted!
Welcome back to another week of Kaizoku Uncharted! In this week's episode, we're wrapping up Wano in One Piece. Justin and Jakia continue to be impressed by Kienmon's ability to never be present and not be informed, but Jenae is a forever stan. Jakia is proud of Carrot's recent promotion and is okay with her not joining the crew. We have more questions when it comes to mud man Caribou. As the title of this week's episode suggests, we can't have nothing, in Jujutsu Kaisen! All Nanami wanted was to retire in Malaysia and go about his business. People putting on a show!
