The Olathe City Council approved a 165 acre area for a local STAR bond district to be the new corporate home and practice facility for the Kansas City Chiefs. This was a no-brainer for Olathe. Officials held a meeting in WYCO as well on Tuesday and will vote to approve their local area for STAR bonds on Thursday. They say it's small and only includes the new Chiefs area. We'll see how bit the state of Kansas bond district is somewhere down the road. It's ticking me off that KSU media and fans are just now on board with what I told them three years ago... Jerome Tang is an awful basketball coach. Nothing personal, I wouldn't be any good at it either. But with an $18 million buyout, these people are focusing on the wrong man. AD Gene Taylor is the person that should be fired and they should cut off all funding to Tang and let him lose horribly for at least another year. Oh, I've got the right plan for KSU but who knows if anyone in charge is ballsy enough to pull the trigger. And all the KSU media types that have ripped me for three years over this... I accept your apology. It wouldn't be Super Bowl week without a grandpa Mahomes alcohol arrest, a Lions fan seems to have a legitimate lawsuit against a whole bunch of people that have given him the Jussie Smollet treatment. There's a crime podcaster reporting a new break in the Nancy Guthrie mystery. Chris Cuomo comes clean on complete botching his Covid coverage and a new steakhouse is coming to KC that I'm betting is a better night out than 1587.

What if the Royals played everyone here and were actually the smartest, most brilliant business tacticians in all of this Kansas City stadium drama? It's either that or they are the luckiest outfit ever. We'll let you decide but there's no denying 5 years ago the Royals said they were getting a new stadium and they wanted it downtown. When that failed at every turn, did they use Overland Park and Kansas officials for leverage to get what they wanted? Did they let the Chiefs move first, something they know doubt knew was in the works, to let the freak out happen? It's possible. If not... wow were they lucky. Hey, turns out Alex Pretti was known to the feds as a problem... we have some details. Also in Minneapolis, an agitator confronts Ilhan Omar and, get this, the Minneapolis local police arrest the guy. Go figure. Bill Belichick fails to get the vote to enter the Pro Football Hall of Fame and it shows just how absurd and petty the committee members are. The Chiefs name two local architecture firms working to design their new stadium. I don't think it's a competition. Darryn Peterson is ready to rock Saturday against BYU and their star freshman AJ Dybansta. K-State has a buyout problem with Jerome Tang, Mizzou gets drilled at Alabama. A billionaire is paying our Olympic athletes and a man in New Jersey is ordered by his wife to return expensive orange juice to the store and it turns out your wife always knows best. You have to hear this Final Final.
The Drive was puzzled why so many Kstate fans are pointing to a buyout as a reason why Jerome Tang will return next season.
In Hour 4 of New Day we are joined by CJ Moore of the Athletic to talk college basketball starting with Mizzou and some of the struggles they have had throughout this season. Next SSJ and CJ listen to some comments from Jerome Tang that are rather off, and comments on what was said. CJ also previews Saturdays matchup in Lawrence between BYU and KU. Next New Day is joined by "Mike's Got This" Mike Dipasquale from DM Injury Law. They guys give their picks for the coming weekend of football. The Guys begin with talking about Mizzou and their exciting win over Oklahoma including 2 buzzer beaters. SSJ, Todd, and Scott also talk KU beating K State, the Wabash Cannonball, and Jerome Tang and a coach’s buyout. SSJ, Todd, and Scott get back into the NFL by talking about the games yesterday, and the story of Sam Darnolds Grandfather. The Drive discussed the coach of Kansas State jumping in the crowd and celebrating following Kansas State surviving Utah.
It's time to tell the truth about Denmark and Greenland. The Danes mistreated the land and the people in horrific ways until about 30 years ago. Scott Bessent is talking about it and you're likely to get a heavy dose of facts from people in Greenland that hate Denmark. A murder at The Hawk in Lawrence is just a total shocker and stupid tragedy. We have the latest details of what went wrong. A friend gave me the greatest idea ever for how to repurpose the Truman Sports Complex. You'll love it. Crazies storm a church in St. Paul, Minnesota with their anti-ICE chants. Wow. The NFL didn't disappoint this weekend with two great playoff games, one very good one and one dud. And what do you know? The Chiefs and Patriots AFC title game appearance streak continues. KU smokes Baylor and looks like they are figuring a lot of things out while Mizzou falls to LSU. KSU is so bad the only discussion is about when Jerome Tang gets fired. Sporting KC has a new owner, England wants it's World Cup soccer operation in KC as a home base and 1500 men call the same phone number seeking companionship.
An ICE agent is attacked while trying to detain an illegal alien criminal in Minnesota and it was three on one. He's in the hospital and fired a shot a wounded the original suspect. That suspect is in custody as are the other two that came at the agent with a snow shovel or long tool handle. It's getting worse for politicians asking people to resist Trump. A KC media outlet posts the locations of all ICE agents in the city, presumably so agitators could go hassle them while another outlet cries foul that the feds are looking into a reporter that's working with a person committing serious crimes to get her information. That detention center for criminal aliens coming to KC is getting people riled up, but the dirty business dealing behind it is really nuts. Josh Hawley has changed his mind on the War Powers act vote as Trump now has a clear path to do what he wants. In Sports, it appears John Harbaugh will be the next coach of the Giants. Mizzou heats up after a slow start to take down Auburn and Jerome Tang is the worst coach in the Big 12. The NCAA has made good changes to the transfer portal and an ESPN announcer makes the strangest race claim I've ever heard. So sad.

Kristi Noem posted some serious truths and tough words on Monday that take a stance on illegal aliens like no other. It's beautiful and this is her best way to communicate. At the same time, a senator from Ohio has a perfect plan for American citizenship that should be passed as law ASAP. A Trump fan has a great idea for him to end all this gender ideology nonsense. Elton John says Trump could be on of the GOATS of the White House if he does one thing. A listener sends an email in that is just wonderful. In sports, Andy Reid gives up one of the most bizarre quotes ever while former KC quarterback Alex Smith drops truth bombs about this year's team. KSU basketball coach Jerome Tang already seems to be a dead man walking in Manhattan losing his third straight with millions of dollars worth of players. Social media influencers were all over KC Monday for the start of sports wagering in Missouri, golfer Justin Thomas is still whining about the Ryder Cup and two legendary broadcasters that have never called a basketball game together are about to.
The Drive reacted to KSU losing to Bowling Green and how it shows Tang might out as their basketball coach at the end of the season.
It's a great time to be reflecting and thankful for what we have living in the greatest country in the history of man. We'll share a few thoughts. You sure wouldn't think dems are very thankful as universities are promoting Thanksgiving as a "day of mourning" and a mission to "decolonize" the holiday. This is happening while their leaders are trying to derail our military. Unbelievable. Press secretary Karoline Leavitt has some family drama going on as her nephews mom is being processed to get deported after being here illegally for over 25 years. We have the story of the very beginning of the Plaza lights in KC. KU rolls Syracuse in the Players Era tourney and will play for big money Wednesday night. KSU coach Jerome Tang apologizes again and already for being an unprepared, bad coach. When will it end? An ESPN announcer makes an outrageous statement about a backup player being the most powerful black man since Obama. Isiah Pacheco is back for the Chiefs Thursday and Lee Sterling has our point spread picks. Our Final Final is a blast from the past that has a new pitch to sell. You may just say, WOW.

It seems pretty simple. You take a job and if you go to work and perform well you get paid. If you don't go to work or trash your bosses, you get fired. There is NOTHING controversial about how DOGE is treating federal workers. Dan Bongino is leaving radio and heading to the FBI to work with Kash Patel. We revisit the Duke Lacrosse scandal in 2006 as Trump's Advisor and my co-host Stephen Miller was right in the middle of the storm. We explain it fully. Royals prospects Jac Caglianone and Carter Jenson hit bombs in Arizona to keep the Royals undefeated as club executives have a busy week working in Missouri on stadium funding. KU crushes OSU and now heads out on the road. Turnovers do in Mizzou at Arkansas and Jerome Tang's team sinks even lower in Manhattan. Apple Corp is our Final Final, wait until you hear what they are about to do.
