The Korean Pizza Club podcast is a delightful addition to the podcasting world, especially for those interested in Korean culture. As a newcomer to the Korean culture, I have thoroughly enjoyed watching this podcast on YouTube. The hosts do an excellent job of making mundane tasks and chores much more bearable and enjoyable through their engaging conversations. Anna, in particular, adds so much charm and wit to the show that she should definitely be featured as much as possible. The diverse range of guests and experiences discussed on the show make it a must-listen for anyone looking for engaging and distraction-free content. I really appreciate what David is doing with this podcast.
One of the best aspects of The Korean Pizza Club podcast is how skillfully David navigates the conversations, ensuring that all sides are heard and respected. His ability to talk about various topics from different perspectives is commendable, making each episode interesting and thought-provoking. Moreover, the show's selection of excellent and intriguing guests with unique backgrounds contributes to a well-rounded discussion that prevents listeners from being trapped within an echo chamber of similar opinions. The kind and upbeat pace of the show also keeps listeners engaged throughout.
However, there is one downside worth mentioning - Anna's behavior in the first episode. It seems that she comes off as rude at times, which can be off-putting for both fellow cast members and viewers alike. While it's great to have diverse opinions on a podcast, it's important to maintain respect and kindness towards one another during discussions.
In conclusion, The Korean Pizza Club podcast is truly a joy to follow both on YouTube and in audio format. Having followed David's work for years now, it's incredible to witness his growth across multiple platforms. This new venture does not disappoint - the topics are interestingly discussed with respect, while guest speakers from different parts of the world bring unique perspectives to the table. I highly recommend tuning into this podcast if you're looking for an enjoyable and informative experience. Kudos to David and the team for their excellent work!

You may remember Lana, the first Russian soloist to debut in the K-pop scene. Her debut sparked a significant debate— some claims that followed her career both before and after she stepped into the spotlight. Much of the discourse stemmed from her debuting as a foreign artist in a predominantly Korean industry back in 2019, with many audiences claiming that she was trying to appropriate the Korean culture. International K-pop fans were particularly vocal, with many demanding her exit from the scene solely based on her ethnicity and perceived intentions. But were these accusations valid? Did Lana really set out to "look Korean," as some claimed? The debate raised serious questions about foreigners in the K-Pop market, cultural identity, and what qualifies to be K-Pop. For years, Lana's side of the story has remained untold. There was little follow-up on the initial backlash, leaving many to wonder if the truth would ever come to light. Even if LANA had spoken out earlier, would anyone have believed her? Now, Lana has made a comeback with her new single "Circus" under a new label, and she is finally ready to clear the air. For the first time, she opens up about what really happened behind the scenes—the overwhelming hate, the subsequent impact on her mental health, and how she managed to cope during one of the darkest periods of her life. In this exclusive interview, Lana shares her candid thoughts and experiences, shedding light on the reality of being a foreign artist in K-pop. This is a story of resilience, truth, and the human cost of online hate. Tune in to hear Lana's side of the story, directly from the source. Don't miss this eye-opening conversation where Lana sets the record straight and shares her artistic and personal journey of growth and self-discovery. It's time to hear what really happened. Like it or not, it's hard to deny that there has been some amount of hype behind Korean men for the past few years. Obviously one could point the reasoning towards the Korean wave, along with the fantasy of K-pop idols and K-drama actors. However, do these dramas actually represent some sort of reality? Are Korean men actually like that to some extent? And is that why foreigners tend to like Korean men? Or is it just fetishization? We brought some actual Korean men into the studio Joe and Jason to talk about this topic. And of course David and Anna add in their thoughts as well. __

Despite Korea having a record-low in birth rate(0.7, 2023), certain store owners are not allowing kids/children to enter their stores. Parents with kids are upset about the matter claiming that it is discriminatory. However, the majority of Koreans seem to think 'No-kids zones' are ok and is the freedom of the store owner. Many argue that this type of freedom is a slippery slope, as we have seen other kinds of entrance restrictions towards certain ethnicities and minorities in the past. Korea might be pro-America on almost all matters, except maybe 3 things: Drugs, Guns, and TIPPING. American tipping culture has been getting out of control in the United States, where the standard has become 20-25%, according to several news sources and Americans. Ironically, the American tipping culture has been slowly infiltrating the Korean society. And we're not talking about small store owners putting up tip jars or recommending tips to their servers. The biggest tech conglomerate of South Korea, Kakao Corp. has introduced the tipping system to it's taxi services, similar to Uber. This has faced immediate backlash and rage from the Korean public. In today's podcast episode of Korean Pizza Club, we introduce the history of tipping in Korea, Korean viewpoints on tipping, and the panels Kelsey the Korean, Anna Lee, and Soobeanie share their thoughts about tipping culture and whether it will be adopted by the Korean society eventually. What are your thoughts about American tipping culture, and what is the situation related to tipping in your country? __
