Meeting people is not always easy, especially when you are constantly on the move in a van. Listen has Paul shares how he found success with turning strangers into friends with the help of his magic shirt. Paul Costoff, author of "Welcome to Your Life", joins me again as we share our experiences of talking to strangers while on the road.

I fell from my van. Just one step down, but I fell to the ground and ended with two twisted ankles. I share that moment and lessons from it with my van friend Paul Costoff. Listen and hopefully learn from our mistakes from falling on the road.

Fortunate to have met this friendly couple as they were traveling in their Class C RV. My first interview with a couple traveling together. They were out on a three month trip, as they went about "snow-birding" in a different way.

Part of the joy of living this lifestyle is not always about the places, but more often than not, it is about the people. I met a great group of folks while camping along the beach in Pass Christian, Mississippi. This is my conversation with Paul Costoff about the book he wrote along with his own vanlife adventure. Every dog needs a day, so i planned a day just for Willie. Having a dog while in van has changed many thing about the way I travel and move through a day.

Following the signs series, while we are looking for signs outside ourselves to show us a way, there are signs INSIDE, trying to steer us away from bad decisions. However, in some cases, when the Red Flags fly, we chose to ignore them.  Not all red flags are large and waving, some are small , yet still matter. Sometimes you meet someone at the right time and place. Actually, Dorothy and I have not met in person, but after a brief conversation, she is now a friend. Dorothy is a 77 year old independent woman living full-time in her Roadtrek currently somewhere roaming on the west coast. From a high rise to a rig, this is her story.

Kevin Martin is a full-time van lifer with a successful YouTube channel called "30 And A Wake Up". I had the opportunity to discuss with him the journey he went on that landed him traveling and living in his Travato Class B van. You can also find Kevin through his InstaGram @30andawakeup. 

As I am traveling in the Colorado mountains, I had the opportunity to meet another van dweller named Jenny and her dog Dakota. I discuss with two parents and a teacher the difficulty of home schooling or distant learning. Making time for your kids, while working, attempting to learn the material in order to help your children and the new way of communicating with students, parents and teachers.  

Interview with two of my friends who are still recovering from the effects of Covid-19. As cities begin to reopen, my hope is that people will take the necessary precautions to protect themselves from getting this virus. 

We say "privilege" and many people get immediately defensive. In this group discussion, different aspects of privilege are looked at in the hope of shining a light, not casting blame.

During this time of uncertainty, it was nice to chat with an 8 year old as she shared her stories with me. 

I invited a friend of my cousin's into my van for a conversation about her life. I had no expectations or any real direction, but felt definitely uplifted after our chat. Meet Kathy:

My coworkers, Kevin and Hannah, work on the road with me. As field technicians, we are called road warriors being that we work in a new location with every project. We are not really warriors at all, more like goof balls that try to make the most of every experience and every place we go. The music in the front and end of the podcast was created by my cousin Azariah Severance! So proud to have original music. 

Mark and Hannah found each other by doing what they felt compelled to do, and now together, they continue to offer humanitarian aid when called on.
