On the second day of minicamp, Green Bay Packers quarterback connected with wide receiver Mecole Hardman for what may have been a 70-yard touchdown... if Love would have been able to get the ball out in a real game. EITHER WAY, IT WAS A HIGHLIGHT! Former NFL agent Leigh Steinberg joins the show to discuss Aaron Rodgers signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers, as well as the Packers' release of Jaire Alexander and the "meeting" between Brian Gutekunst and Drew Rosenhaus on behalf of Jayden Reed. Fascinating stuff.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
At minicamp on Tuesday, Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst met with the media to explain the team's decision to release cornerback Jaire Alexander. Meanwhile, wide receiver Bo Melton was working out with the defensive backs... might we see Melton mixing in on both sides of the ball in 2025? We'll see.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Last year right now we can say that Brian Gutekunst had 2 successful draft picks, Edgerrin Cooper and Evan Williams, there may be more, only time will tell. If I was in charge and we look back at last years draft I would have had 2 successful draft picks as well, Edgerrin Cooper and Cooper Dejean. It's important to truly evaluate how our front office is making decisions, because right now it's pretty easy to say that we wish we had Cooper Dejean over Evan Williams. That's what we do today is breakdown how I would have done the draft differently taking advantage of trade down opportunities, and using the consensus board to get steals which Brian Gutekunst never did in this entire draft.
With the 23rd pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers select, the first receiver taken in the first round by the Packers since 2002. Some of you weren't even born yet. Despite what Packers twitter says, the Packers are more than a good WR away from a Super Bowl.
