The Good News Podcast is a delightful and uplifting show that provides a quick dose of cheer in each episode. The regular host is kind and charming, never being over the top, and truly enjoys sharing stories of goodness in nature, by humans, dogs, and even in space. It is always a refreshing break from the often depressing news found elsewhere. I am grateful for a new episode of this podcast, as it brings joy to my day.
One of the best aspects of The Good News Podcast is the positive and heartwarming stories it shares. From Lego sets representing LGBTQIA+ communities to acts of kindness by individuals, these stories remind listeners that there is still good in the world. The hosts, Colleen and Neil, are delightful and their genuine enthusiasm adds even more joy to each episode.
On the other hand, one aspect that could be improved upon is the speed at which the host speaks. For some listeners, including myself, it can feel slightly slow-paced. However, it's important to note that this might be intentional to accommodate all types of listeners and ensure inclusivity.
Overall, The Good News Podcast is an excellent show that provides concrete reminders that life can be beautiful and people can be good. It serves as a much-needed pick-me-up amidst other sources of news that can often be disheartening. Colleen and Neil have created something truly wonderful with this podcast, spreading positivity and bringing smiles to their audience on a regular basis.
