Show Notes Too much anger over the Mets waiving Adeiny Hechavarria and not signing Billy Hamilton.  Two key players in Brandon Nimmo and Jed Lowrie- who were top 25 offensive players in 2018- are on the horizon. The biggest disappointment this weekend was Zack Wheeler MLB tries too hard on Players Weekend. They need the game to speak for itself without cheesy gimmicks.  Promoting the Wild Card and teams trying to make the playoffs will grow the game. Remember that the playoffs is a tournament and getting in is a big deal.

Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times joined Ron Diaz and Jay Recher on Tuesday to give us the latest on the Rays. Marc talked to us about how close the friendship between Willy Adames and Jake Bauers is, why the team has been impossible to predict this season, and why he still doesn't understand why it took so long to trade Adeiny Hechavarria.

Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times joined Ron Diaz and Jay Recher on Tuesday afternoon to talk all things Rays. Marc told the guys how cool it has been to see Blake Snell take in his first all star experience. Marc also told us how the Manny Machado trade could clear up the market for Adeiny Hechavarria.
