The Sports Deli Podcast - Where Everyone Deserves a Seat at the Table; An Anti-Racist, Equality Pod
The legendary Rick Barry, NBA Hall-of-Famer, NBA Champion, and a member of the 75th Anniversary team, joined Hoot and former Eastern Michigan and Cal Coach, Ben Braun for this polarizing discussion that goes far beyond the hardwood and his unorthodox underhand free-throw shooting. We discuss a wide range of topics as Rick was so incredibly generous with his time. It was incredibly refreshing to hear his opinions not only about the pick-and-roll, Steph Curry, Muhammad Ali and the state of the game right now but about discrimination in America, Willie Mays, and how hard it was in the old days to be a professional basketball player. And of course, you don't want to miss our very famous rapid fire, "This or That" segment of the podcast. #NBA #HallofFame #GoldenState #TheU #Miami #TheUniversityofMiami #NBA75thAnniversaryTeam #NBAChamps #NBAChampions #NewJersey #ESPN #ABCSports #NBCSports #CBSSports #YahooSports #MiamiMensBasketball #miamibasketball #podcasting #sportspodcasting #blacklivesmatter #UnitedStatesMilitary #USMilitary #Military #IndigenousPeople --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/the-sports-deli/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/the-sports-deli/support
