Father Paul was an American priest who co-founded the Society of the Atonement with Mother Lurana White, and the Christian Unity Octave in The Episcopal Church. He was later received into the Catholic Church and is remembered as an advocate for ecumenism. His case for canonization is being promoted by the Archdiocese of New York. The communities of St. Clement's and Sacred Heart are inviting all to come celebrate Christian unity at a fellowship and worship service at St. Clement's, 32940 Maryland Line Road, Massey, Maryland 21650 on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 6:00 PM. Dr. Rayne holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Stevenson University, a K–12 Special Education certification from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland, a master's degree in School Administration from Wilmington University, and a Doctor of Education in Supervisory Leadership from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.  Carlton Cartwright is a restorative leader and educator with over 26 years of experience supporting student success, access, and belonging on Maryland's Eastern Shore. In his current role he leads initiatives that embed restorative practices frameworks into daily practice and strengthen school-community partnerships. Having received training from the IIRP, Carlton facilitates professional learning and student support systems across Worcester County Public Schools. He believes transformation happens when we lead with rather than to others—building trust, connection, and shared responsibility. His leadership extends beyond the classroom through service in his church, mentoring, and community engagement.  Lauren Williams is a seasoned educational leader and licensed clinical social worker with over 15 years of experience advancing student mental health, family engagement, and restorative practices. As the Coordinator of School Health and Mental Health for Worcester County Public Schools, she leads district-wide initiatives that prioritize student well-being, inclusive leadership, and trauma-informed care. Her leadership philosophy is rooted in principle-centered values, collaboration, and the belief that lasting change happens with people, not to them. At Holy Family University, she was a key player on the women's soccer team, honing both her athleticism and teamwork skills. However, her athletic career took a challenging turn at the age of 13 when she tore her ACL—a pivotal moment that not only tested her resilience but also sparked her interest in physical therapy. The injury and her subsequent recovery process played a significant role in shaping her career path, as she was inspired by the healing power of rehabilitation. Now living in the Philadelphia area with her husband Tom and their dog Basil, Mackenzie brings empathy and firsthand experience to her work as a physical therapist. She is committed to supporting her patients through their rehabilitation journeys, understanding the mental and physical hurdles they face along the way. In this episode of the Braun Performance & Rehab Podcast, Dan is joined by Ron Siers to discuss what it means to be a leader in sport and how to lead to have an impact on others. Ron Siers joined the Salisbury coaching staff in the fall of 1998 and is in his 26th season with the Sea Gull baseball program in 2024. He currently serves as associate head coach and defensive coordinator, as well as in-game third base coach. Through over a quarter century in the maroon and gold, Siers has served on staff of three head coaches: Robb Disbennet (1999-2000), Doug Fleetwood (2011-14) and Troy Brohawn (2015-present). With Siers on staff, the Sea Gulls have won a total of 809 games, finished with a winning record in all 25 seasons, made every NCAA Tournament since 2000, hosted four NCAA regionals and two super regionals, appeared in the Division III College World Series eight times and won the 2021 national championship. In 2021 Siers was named ABCA NCAA Division III Assistant Coach of the Year after helping the Sea Gulls win the first national title in program history. He was inducted into the Eastern Shore Baseball Hall of Fame in 2023. In addition to coaching baseball, Siers has been a professor of organizational leadership at Salisbury University since 2014. He received the annual SU Distinguished Faculty Award in the fall of 2020. Siers has also published 16 peer-reviewed articles and served as the senior editor of PDS Partners through the National Association of Professional Development Schools. Siers earned both his B.A. and M.Ed. from Salisbury in 1989 and 1995, respectively. In 2009 he completed his Ph.D. in organizational leadership from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Dr. Kerry Forrestal, MD was first introduced to the field of medicine in 1979 at age 16 with his local American Legion Ambulance. When he was 18 became one of the youngest people to be certified as an Emergency Medical Technician(EMT) in New York up to that time. He attended Binghamton University (Then SUNY Binghamton), earning a Bachelor of Science degree with dual majors in Biology and Psychology, which he followed with a Masters in Business Administration. During this time he also trained to the level of Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, Level III. Upon completion of his Masters Degree in Business Administration, he joined the New York Air National Guard 106th Air Rescue Wing where he served as a Commander's Advisor on issues including drug and alcohol abatement and diversity, equity, and inclusion and was recognized as a Distinguished Graduate of the Department of Defense Race Relations Institute (DEOMI).In 1997, he decided to pursue a medical degree and was admitted to The Renaissance School ofMedicine at the State University of New York, Stony Brook University. He was elected Dean's Liaison for his class and created the “Career Cultural Competence” or C3 project to train all eleven health sciences schools at Stony Brook in a common forum about issues regarding cultural understanding in medical practice.Upon completion of his medical degree, he did a residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, after which he became board certified in Emergency Medicine. His senior research project on domestic violence was accepted at Columbia University for presentation. Ultimately, Dr. Forrestal became a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. For the past twenty years, Dr. Forrestal has worked in trauma centers as an attending physician in the Emergency Department. In his current role, he has served as the Emergency Department's Medical Education Director. Additionally, he has taught medicine at The University of Maryland Eastern Shore, an Historically Black College/University, and is the Ambassador to Ireland for the American College of Emergency Physicians. He currently serveson the Executive Board of the Maryland College of Emergency Physicians as its President-Elect.Internationally he has served on medical missions to Haiti, as a delegate on the China Emergency Medicine Exchange through the Eisenhower Institute, and works to facilitate an exchange program between Emergency Medicine residencies between Ireland and the United States. Prior to medical school, he helped to found South Africa's first volunteer ambulance corps in Hout Bay, South Africa. He was honored with a lifetime member award from the Hampton Bays Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Honorary Chairperson award from Hout Bay EMS.In addition to several medical papers, chapters and presentations, Dr. Forrestal has previously published in the field of Science Fiction and Fantasy, Cataclysm: The Myst Clipper Shicaine (2016) and has written a two-act play, Club Hell, which received four Theatre Association of New York Awards (TANYs) in 2012. He has contributed to Conquer: The Patient's Voice a magazine for cancer patients and has sat on its editorial board. He lectures regularly to EMS and other medical groups. Additionally, Dr. Forrestal teaches at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in the Health Sciences Department. Most recently, he started hosting a regular segment on health care related issues for NPR affiliate WHCP in Cambridge Maryland.This is Dr. Forrestal's first non-fiction work, which is intended to be the first in a series of patient-centric books covering the many types of cancers. Paige looked every bit like the All-American player we know she is, and it was a joy to watch her control the game. Then there's Sarah Strong, who was nothing short of dominant. Her 17-point, 14-rebound, 5-assist performance was a masterclass in versatility. Sarah isn't just a force in the paint—her ability to facilitate, defend, and control the boards makes her one of UConn's most valuable players. Watching her hustle on every possession was a reminder of why she's one of the most exciting young players in the country. The game didn't start perfectly for the Huskies, with just four of their first 13 shots falling. It seemed like they were trying to find their rhythm, but once they did, they never looked back. UConn closed the first quarter on a strong run and completely dominated the second and third quarters, putting the game out of reach. They used a nine-point burst in the second to take control and a 14-point explosion in the third to slam the door on Georgetown. Ashlynn Shade also deserves a mention here. She came off the bench and contributed nine points, adding another layer to UConn's depth. When you have players coming off the bench and making meaningful contributions like that, it speaks to the overall strength and depth of this team. Georgetown, unfortunately, didn't have any answers. Kelsey Ransom, the Big East's leading scorer, was held to just seven points on 2-of-9 shooting and committed nine turnovers. UConn's defense was relentless, forcing 19 turnovers that led to 25 points.
