Andy Stark is entering his 5th season as the Head Men's Basketball Coach at D2 D'Youville University. The Saints advanced to the East Coast Conference Semifinals in 2026 and continued the program's upward trajectory since Stark took over the program in June of 2022.Stark previously served one season on the Baylor men's basketball staff under Scott Drew. During his time with the Bears, Stark helped the team to a 27-7 record, winning the 2021 Big 12 Championship and making it to the NCAA March Madness Round of 32 as a No. 1 seed.Prior to his time with the Bears, Stark served as an assistant coach at D3 Penn State-Behrend and at D2 Gannon University. He began his coaching career at Stevenson University in Owings Mills, Md. as a graduate assistant for the men's basketball team after having served as the head student assistant at St. Bonaventure while earning a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communications.On this episode Mike & Andy discuss the transformative experiences that shaped his coaching philosophy, emphasizing the significance of nurturing relationships with players. Kip Ioane just completed his second season as the Head Boys' Basketball Coach at South Salem (OR) High School where he has led the Saxons to a 34-19 record . Ioane previously served as the head coach of the men's basketball team at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon for 14 seasons and as an assistant for 8 seasons.Ioane also attended Willamette as a student-athlete and played for the Bearcats from 1997-98 through 2000-01. He was a two-year captain who earned a total of four letters while playing at Willamette.Ioane's Teams Of Men Character Development program has garnered national recognition for its work in developing a healthy version of manhood with teams, coaches, and players around the country.On this episode Mike and Kip discuss the transformative impact of the "Teams of Men" program on high school basketball coaching and player development. Maureen Hirt is the Women's Basketball Head Coach at Denison University where she led the Big Red to the D3 National Championship in 2026. On their way to the title, the Big Red took down two unbeaten squads and became the first NCAC team to win the national championship since DePauw in 2013.In her 4 seasons at Denison Hirt has compiled a 75-36 overall recordHirt came to Denison after spending the previous season as the Associate Head Coach at Oberlin College, her third year on staff as an assistant for the Yeowomen. During her second year at Oberlin, Hirt was one of 10 Tara VanDerveer fellows across the country to be a part of the 2020 cohort for the Women's Sports Foundation's advancement of women in coaching.Hirt is the Co-Founder and Owner of Ohio Champion Basketball (OCB), a basketball skills and performance training company in Cincinnati, Ohio. Since November of 2015, OCB has trained athletes from the middle school to professional level. She began her coaching career as the Guardian Angels eighth grade boys' head basketball coach, a position she held for four seasons from October 2014-February 2018.Maureen played her college basketball at Kenyon College where she was two-time team captain and the 2014 North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Year. She was a four-time All-NCAC player and three-time first-team all-conference selection, and is still the school's all-time leading scorer with 1,819 career points. Easton Bazzoli is the Head Men's Basketball Coach at Gannon University where he led the Golden Knights to the 2026 Division 2 National Championship. In two seasons as the head coach Bazzoli has compiled a 61-10 overall record. He spent one season at Gannon as an assistant to Jordan Fee in 2023-24 where he helped the team to a record of 32-3 and an appearance in the Elite Eight.Bazzoli Previously served as an assistant at Union University, helping guide the Bulldogs to a 96-71 record during his six seasons at the school.Bazzoli played his college basketball at NCAA Division II Cedarville (Ohio) University from 2013-17. Easton was a four-year starter for the Yellow Jackets, appearing in 114 games with 95 starts. Get to know new Weber State men's basketball head coach Kaleb Canales in this latest Wildcat All In interview. with Paul Grua. Hear from coach Canales on why he came to Weber State, how he got into coaching, his 18-year NBA coaching career, and his vision and goals for the Wildcats. Coach Canales also talks about building the Wildcat roster for next season, scheduling, style of play, competition, relationship with Damian Lillard, giving back, family, and much more. Canales was hired as the 11th head coach in Weber State's Division I history in April and brings nearly two decades of coaching experience. He also spent last season as the associate head coach at Troy, where he helped lead the team to the NCAA Tournament. Canales came from Troy University last season, where he helped guide the Trojans to a 22–12 record and won the Sun Belt regular-season and tournament championships, to earn a berth in the NCAA Tournament. A native of Laredo, Texas, Canales began his coaching career in 2001 as a high school assistant coach before moving to the collegiate ranks at UT Arlington for the 2003-04 season, where he helped lead the Mavericks to a Southland Conference title. He then embarked on an 18-year career in the NBA, beginning with the Portland Trail Blazers in 2005 as a video intern. He was promoted to video coordinator, then to assistant coach in 2009. In 2012, he served as the Trail Blazers' interim head coach for 23 games and became the first Hispanic head coach in NBA history. He also served as Portland's head coach in the NBA Summer League. Canales then spent five seasons as an assistant coach with the Dallas Mavericks (2013–18), followed by two years with the New York Knicks and one season with the Indiana Pacers. In 2023, he was named associate head coach of the Texas Legends in the NBA G League. He also served as head coach of the Calgary Surge in the Canadian Elite Basketball League. He and his wife Cristi, have a son, Bauer, and a daughter, Sloane.

Mike Williams is the Head Women's Basketball Coach at Grand Valley State University where he just led the Lakers to back to back D2 National Championships in 2025 and 2026. In his 11 years at the helm of the Laker program, he has amassed a 314-50 (.863) overall record and a 188-28 (.870) record in the GLIAC. He has led the Lakers to six GLIAC regular season titles, four GLIAC Tournament titles, four Midwest Regional titles, and two National Championships.This is the second stint for Williams at GVSU, as he was an assistant coach with the Lakers from 2002-2007, which included winning the 2006 Division II National Championship.Williams spent four seasons as the head coach at Davenport, where he compiled an outstanding 130-11 (.922) overall record. Before becoming the head coach at Davenport, Williams spent four seasons as an assistant coach at Michigan. He was also responsible for starting the women's basketball program at Finlandia (NCAA Division III) in Hancock, Mich. In his three seasons as head coach (1999-2000 to 2001-02), the team owned a 44-33 (.571) record.Williams coached for a number of years at the high school level, where he was head coach of the girls varsity team at Hancock High School from 1989 to 2000. Those teams recorded a 207-51 (.802) mark, winning eight district championships and four regional titles. For five seasons, he was also the head coach of the varsity boys team at Hancock, owning a 72-36 (.667) record.He began his coaching career at Ironwood High School, as head coach of the girls varsity team in 1986. A few years later, Williams moved to the collegiate ranks, serving as an assistant coach during the 1988-89 season with at Michigan Tech.On this episode Mike and Mike discuss how Grand Valley State won consecutive Division II national championships in 2025 and 2026. Colin Doss just completed his first season as the Head Boys' Basketball Coach and Assistant Athletic Director at Murray High School where he led the Tigers to a 21-8 record and was named the 2026 KABC Region 1 Coach of the Year.Doss guided the program to a 2026 2A Sectional Championship, Murray High School's first 2A title in school history and led the largest turnaround by a first-year head coach in the state of Kentucky as the team improved from 9 - 19 in 2024–2025.Colin previously served as the Head Men's Basketball Coach at John Melvin College in 2024-25 after being hired as the youngest Head Coach in College Basketball at 23 Years Old. Marcus Kahn is the Head Men's Basketball Coach at the University of Mary Washington where he just led the Eagles to the 2026 NCAA Division Three Men's Basketball Championship in Indianapolis. Kahn also took the Eagles to the NCAA Tournament second round in 2023 and the sweet 16 in 2025.Prior to Mary Washington Kahn posted a 153-27 record in six seasons at Cabrini College, including five consecutive Colonial States Athletic Conference championships and NCAA Tournament appearances, including a run to the NCAA Championship game in 2011-12. His mark of 131-19 over those five years was the best record in all of NCAA Division III.In his first stop as a head coach, Kahn spent six seasons at the University of Pittsburgh - Greensburg. Austen Hurley is a high school basketball coach in South Dakota. Austen has served as a head coach at Parker (SD) High School and as an assistant coach at Tea (SD) High School where he helped the team make three consecutive South Dakota State Basketball Championship Appearances and win 2 South Dakota State Championships. Kaleb Canales was named the new head coach for the Weber State men's basketball program on April 3, 2026. Canales comes to Weber State with more than 25 years of coaching experience, including 18 seasons in the NBA. Canales is the 11th head coach in the program's Division I history and arrives in Ogden with nearly two decades of NBA coaching experience. He also spent last season as the associate head coach at Troy, where he helped lead the team to the NCAA Tournament. In his lone season at Troy, Canales helped guide the Trojans to a 22–12 record, capturing both the Sun Belt regular-season and tournament championships, and earning a berth in the NCAA Tournament. A native of Laredo, Texas, Canales began his coaching career in 2001 as a high school assistant coach before moving to the collegiate ranks at UT Arlington for the 2003-04 season, where he helped lead the Mavericks to a Southland Conference title. He then embarked on an 18-year career in the NBA, beginning with the Portland Trail Blazers in 2005 as a video intern. He was promoted to video coordinator, then to assistant coach in 2009. In 2012, he served as the Trail Blazers' interim head coach for 23 games and became the first Hispanic head coach in NBA history. He also served as Portland's head coach in the NBA Summer League. Canales then spent five seasons as an assistant coach with the Dallas Mavericks (2013–18), followed by two years with the New York Knicks and one season with the Indiana Pacers. In 2023, he was named associate head coach of the Texas Legends in the NBA G League. He also served as head coach of the Calgary Surge in the Canadian Elite Basketball League. Canales, 47, has also been an active participant in the NBA's Basketball Without Borders program and has served as associate head coach of the Mexico Men's National Team since 2021. He earned his bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from UT Arlington in 2001 and a master's degree in Sports Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth in 2005. He and his wife Cristi, have a son, Bauer, and a daughter, Sloane.
