Week 5 of the NFL season is in the books, and ‘Birds Of A Feather' is here to recap everything from the Philadelphia Eagles' win over the Los Angeles Rams to all the other big games from around the league! Here's what's in store this week:
Welcome to another exciting episode of 'Birds Of A Feather'! In this week's episode, we dive deep into the Philadelphia Eagles' hard-fought victory over the Washington Commanders. Join us for insightful discussions on:
The 2023 NFL Season is here and the Philadelphia Eagles are kicking things off against the New England Patriots. Tonight we take a look at the entire NFL and give our predictions on how teams will fare through the 2023 season. Will the Philadelphia Eagles be the first repeat NFC East division winner since 2004? More importantly, can they make it back to the Super Bowl? Or will they suffer from a case of “Super Bowl Hangover”? How will the rest of the divisions play out? Who will shock the league and make the playoffs after missing them last year? Who will set records and take home awards at the end of the year? Finally, to end the show, the BOAF panel goes “NO HUDDLE” as they discuss anything and everything else surrounding the NFL, sports, and anything else that we find worth discussing!
The NFL today is an offensive-driven league, so as we continue preparing for the 2023 season, your hosts at Birds of a Feather will predict which offenses they believe will be the best units this year. Will the Philadelphia Eagles finish as a top 3 offense? Can any team dethrone Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs as the best offense in the league? And which offenses will surprise everyone this season, whether it be as a team on the rise or on the decline? As the boys give their lists, give yours as well to compare! Also, the Eagles' first preseason game is this Saturday against the Baltimore Ravens. The BOAF panel will each give one player they'll be paying attention to the most. Should/will the starters play at all this preseason? Which player or players on the bubble need to stand out the most in order to make the roster? To end the show the BOAF panel goes “NO HUDDLE” as they discuss anything and everything else surrounding the NFL, sports, and anything else that we find worth discussing!
August has arrived and that means NFL Training Camps are underway as teams begin preparing for the 2023 season! Your hosts at BOAF will discuss some of the biggest storylines, position battles, and question marks not only for the Philadelphia Eagles but for other teams around the league as well. One of the biggest takeaways from the Eagles camp so far is the amount of work D'Andre Swift is getting as a receiver. With his ability as a dual-threat weapon, will we see a significant increase in RB receiving production this year? Also, there already seems to be some friction brewing between the Denver Broncos and the New York Jets already after Broncos head coach Sean Payton made some negative comments about his predecessor Nathaniel Hackett. Is this something to monitor heading into their matchup? The guys will also discuss some of the injuries to star players, and much more. In the 2nd half of the show, the hosts will talk about the long-awaited release of the Eagles' kelly green uniforms. Are they the best uniform the franchise has ever had? They'll debate by ranking the top 5 jerseys in Eagles history! Where do you think the kelly green throwbacks should land? To end the show the BOAF panel goes “NO HUDDLE” as they discuss anything and everything else surrounding the NFL, sports, and anything else that we find worth discussing!
NFL star running backs Saquon Barkley and Josh Jacobs have been the latest victims of the continued devaluation of the RB free agency market as they couldn't reach long-term deals with the New York Giants and Las Vegas Raiders by this past Monday's deadline. That means the only compensation they can gain from playing is from the franchise tag. There was an uproar from other running backs around the league in response, addressing how broken the RB market is in the league now. However, others in the media have shot down the concerns, chalking it up to “how the game is now” and that running backs just aren't valuable enough anymore to justify being paid second contracts. Is there any hope that running backs will get fair treatment and pay ever again? Should changes be made to help them? This is a heavy topic, and the BOAF guys will dive into it. Also, the guys will continue the draft they started last week and look to build the best team they possibly can. The 2023 ALL-BIRDS OF A FEATHER DRAFT: PART 2 is here! And remember, it'll be up to you to decide who ended up with the best team! Pete Evans was able to build a very strong defense so far, Chux was able to grab the Philadelphia Eagles dominant offensive line, Pete Young took 2 elite running backs, and Jake Friel grabbed the best linebacker in the league in Fred Warner. How will the rest of the draft shake out? Tune in! To end the show the BOAF panel goes “NO HUDDLE” as they discuss anything and everything else surrounding the NFL, sports, and anything else that we find worth discussing!
Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, Jalen Hurts, Aaron Donald, Patrick Surtain, Sauce Gardner, Justin Jefferson, and Ja'Marr Chase are just a handful of examples of NFL players whom many would consider are franchise cornerstones. So, if you were to build an NFL team from scratch, what would your draft look like? Which players and positions would be prioritized before others? The hosts at BOAF are here to turn those questions into action as they put their GM caps on and take turns drafting a whole 22-man starting roster! This is the 2023 ALL-BIRDS OF A FEATHER DRAFT! The first half of their draft will be this week, while the second half will be next week. In the end, it'll be up to you to decide who ended up with the best team! The quarterbacks should be off the board early, but then what? Will Aaron Donald be the first non-QB taken? How long before we see the first RB selected? What type of defensive schemes will they base their selections off? There should be a lot of different strategies involved, which will make this very interesting to say the least! To end the show the BOAF panel goes “NO HUDDLE” as they discuss anything and everything else surrounding the NFL, sports, and anything else that we find worth discussing!
The final installment of the BOAF NFL Positional Ranking Summer Series is here, as we conclude by discussing the best running backs since 2000! When you think of the best RBs over the past 20+ years, guys like LaDainian Tomlinson, Adrian Peterson, and Marshall Faulk immediately come to mind. But who else stands out? Which ones would we pick if we were building a franchise? The Philadelphia Eagles had 2 incredible RBs back-to-back in Brian Westbrook and LeSean McCoy. How do they stack up compared to others? The BOAF hosts will each rank their top RBs, and they want to know yours as well, so join the debate! Also, with the RB position becoming so devalued in today's NFL, will we start to see less and less of them being inducted into the Hall of Fame? Have we seen that trend already? Will voters have to adjust the criteria on which an RB would get selected into the Hall of Fame? To end the show the BOAF panel goes “NO HUDDLE” as they discuss anything and everything else surrounding the NFL, sports, and anything else that we find worth discussing!
The running back position in the NFL might not have the same value or appeal as it once did, but that doesn't mean it's lost its luster here on Birds Of A Feather! There's a ton to discuss tonight, from the Eagles' own RB room for 2023 to who the top 10 players are in the NFL heading into this season, and the guys over at BOAF are here for it all! In the 1st half we welcome fellow A2D personality and host of Pro Fan Talk Markus Thomas to the show! He'll join the guys as they debate whether D'Andre Swift or Kenneth Gainwell will be the lead guy for the Eagles' RB corps. Does Gainwell deserve the first opportunity, or should Swift's talent put him at the top of the depth chart? Where do guys like Rashaad Penny, Boston Scott, and Trey Sermon fit in? What will their roles be this season? Who will be the odd man out? In the 2nd half of the show, the BOAF hosts will continue their Summer Ranking series by giving their RB Rankings for the 2023 season. Like the WR position, there are so many good RBs in the NFL. However, who is at the very top? Derrick Henry has been dominant for several years now, but was 2022 a sign that he's on the downturn of his career? Christian McCaffrey had a resurgence after being traded from the Carolina Panthers to the San Francisco 49ers. Does he once again hold the top spot? And Nick Chubb often goes overlooked despite being the best pure runner in the game. Is it time to give him the recognition he deserves? How about the young guys like Kenneth Walker, Breece Hall, and Bijan Robinson? The BOAF hosts will debate their top 10 and want you to join the conversation! To end the show the BOAF panel goes “NO HUDDLE” as they discuss anything and everything else surrounding the NFL, sports, and anything else that we find worth discussing!
What do Calvin Johnson, Randy Moss, Larry Fitzgerald, and Julio Jones all have in common? They are some of the best NFL Wide Receivers since the year 2000! Tonight we take a look at the best of the best when it comes to those athletes that run the length of the field all with the hopes of catching that game-winning touchdown pass. Which team will have produced the best WRs in the league? The Philadelphia Eagles? The Dallas Cowboys? The New England Patriots? Or maybe the San Francisco 49ers? Whom do they believe are the top ones they'd build an offense around? How do the current NFL WRs stack up against legends from the 2000s like Randy Moss and Terrell Owens? Do the changes and evolutions in today's passing game alter the way you view or value WRs now compared to back then? This topic will certainly conjure several disagreements and points of debate, so make sure you join in on the conversation! To end the show the BOAF panel goes “NO HUDDLE” as they discuss anything and everything else surrounding the NFL, sports, and anything else that we find worth discussing!
The NFL is full of amazing wide receivers, from AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith of the Philadelphia Eagles to the Las Vegas Raider's Davante Adams, Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings, and the Miami Dolphins' Tyreek Hill and many many more. Tonight, our Birds of a Feather crew continues their 2023 NFL Season Player Rankings with this elite corps. AJ Brown had arguably the best season of his career so far last season. Has he cemented himself as a top 5 WR in the league, or at least part of the conversation? Where would DeVonta Smith rank? And is Davante Adams still the near-unanimous WR1, or has he been dethroned? Where will your favorites land? Who won't make the cut? To end the show the BOAF panel goes “NO HUDDLE” as they discuss anything and everything else surrounding the NFL, sports, and anything else that we find worth discussing!
Who is the top quarterback in the NFL going into the 2023 season? Patrick Mahomes, Justin Herbert, Jalen Hurts, Josh Allen… someone else? This week the boys of Birds of a Feather are back and they will continue discussing the QB position, but instead of looking in the past they'll be looking ahead to 2023 and will give their QB Rankings for the 2023 NFL season. Coming off of a near MVP-caliber season, should Jalen Hurts be considered no lower than a top 3 QB in the league already? Or does he need at least another year of high-level play to show consistency? Which QBs would you take above him, or in the same tier? Is there any QB that has made a jump into the top 10 conversations? The guys will debate! To end the show the BOAF panel goes “NO HUDDLE” as they discuss anything and everything else surrounding the NFL, sports, and anything else that we find worth discussing!
NFL Quarterbacks,..some say the heart and soul of a football team…others say that they are the most recognizable. With names like Tom Brady, Brett Farve, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts, Aaron Rogers and more the Birds of a Feather crew takes a look at the top quarterbacks since the year 2000. Throughout the summer, we will be taking a look at where the top players rank. Kicking things off we look to see if Patrick Mahomes is already the 2nd best QB that's come into the NFL since 2000. Does he have a chance to eventually surpass Tom Brady as the GOAT? Where will some of your favorites fall? Let us know in the comments below. To end the show the BOAF panel goes “NO HUDDLE” as they discuss anything and everything else surrounding the NFL, sports, and anything else that we find worth discussing!
The boys are back for another week of Birds of a Feather! This week, the panel will come up with a wishlist of trades and signings they'd still like to see happen before the season begins. Howie Roseman is notorious for making signings or trades in August to give the Philadelphia Eagles a late boost before Week 1. Will he continue the trend this year, and if so, what position or player would he target? There are also several other players around the league that could or should be moved. Which ones would we like to see the most? To end the show the BOAF panel goes “NO HUDDLE” as they discuss anything and everything else surrounding the NFL, sports, and anything else that we find worth discussing!
The boys are back for another week of Birds of a Feather! This week, the panel will analyze all the teams and rosters around the NFL and give their “Way-too-early” Power Rankings. How does this Philadelphia Eagles team compare to the one from last year at this time? How has the outlook changed in just one year's time? What teams have improved the most this offseason and are poised for a big jump? What teams have gotten worse this offseason and are likely to regress? To end the show the BOAF panel goes “NO HUDDLE” as they discuss anything and everything else surrounding the NFL, sports, and anything else that we find worth discussing!
Birds of a Feather returns after a week off, and they have a lot to discuss! In the 1st half of the show, the BOAF panel will look at the release of the Philadelphia Eagles' 2023 schedule. Which game will be the most anticipated matchup of the season? Will it be the Super Bowl rematch with the Chiefs, the NFC Championship Game rematch with the 49ers or one of the games with a division rival? Many media outlets are saying the Eagles' schedule is the toughest in the league based on their opponents' 2022 win percentage. Does that hold true? As the 2nd half of the show kicks off, each host will look back at the NFL Draft, starting with the Philadelphia Eagles' class. What grade would they give Howie Roseman and the Eagles' front office? Which picks were their favorite and which were the most questionable? They'll then shift their attention to the league and give their opinions on the best and the worst picks of the draft. Finally, to end the show the BOAF panel goes “NO HUDDLE” as they discuss anything and everything else surrounding the NFL, sports, and anything else we find worth discussing!

In the 1st half of the show, the BOAF panel will reach the culmination of their draft coverage as they do a 1st round mock draft. Chime in and give your thoughts of each pick! As the 2nd half of the show kicks off, each host will give their favorite draft targets for the Eagles. Who are some of the prospects they feel would be ideal fits for the team throughout days 1-3 of the draft? Finally, to end the show the BOAF panel goes “NO HUDDLE” as they discuss anything and everything else surrounding the NFL, sports, and anything else that we find worth discussing!

Each host has been assigned a position on the defense to give their own rankings for. They'll discuss each prospect in depth and their views on them as they go along. They'll also address whether they believe Jalen Carter should be the Eagles' top draft target. As the 2nd half of the show kicks off, each panel member will give their list of “My Guys”, aka their personal favorite prospects in this draft class. Finally, to end the show the BOAF panel goes “NO HUDDLE” as they discuss anything and everything else surrounding the NFL, sports, and anything else we find worth discussing.
Birds of a Feather is back to give you continued NFL Draft coverage and discussions! In the 1st half of the show, the BOAF panel will continue their draft prospect rankings series with the RB position. This class is a very deep one this year. Although the Eagles just signed Rashaad Penny and still have Boston Scott, Kenneth Gainwell, and Trey Sermon, do they need to draft an RB within the first 3 rounds? Or should they even draft one at all? They guys will not only debate, but they'll give their rankings of the top prospects. As the 2nd half of the show kicks off, we continue discussing the RB prospects by doing superlatives for this class. This will be a good way to see which prospects specialize in certain areas. Finally, to end the show the BOAF panel goes “NO HUDDLE” as they discuss anything and everything else surrounding the NFL, sports, and anything else that we find worth discussing!
Birds of a Feather is back to give you continued NFL Draft coverage and discussions! In the 1st half of the show, the BOAF panel will continue their draft prospect rankings series with the WR position. TCU prospect Quentin Johnston is often mentioned as one of the top WRs in this class, but should he be? Should the fact that he played at TCU scare you off? The guys will show where he lands on their rankings, as well as who they have as their WR1 this year. As the 2nd half of the show kicks off, we move on to the TE position. Darnell Washington has been considered one of the fan favorites for the Philadelphia Eagles to draft. Would you want him as the 30th overall selection? The BOAF panel will give their rankings of the top TEs in this class. Finally, to end the show the BOAF panel goes “NO HUDDLE” as they discuss anything and everything else surrounding the NFL, sports, and anything else that we find worth discuss.

Should the Eagles sign the long-time Dallas Cowboy RB? This topic is sure to be a heated one, so make sure you chime in! As the 2nd half of the show kicks off, the guys begin their series of draft prospect rankings, starting with the most important position in football, Quarterback! The odds seem to favor CJ Stroud as most likely to be taken with the 1st overall pick. Where does he end up on everyone's rankings? Is Bryce Young truly the top QB prospect in this class? And are you buying into the high ceiling of Anthony Richardson? Finally, to end the show the BOAF panel goes “NO HUDDLE” as they discuss anything and everything else surrounding the NFL, sports, and anything else that we find worth discussing!
It's been a crazy and busy week of NFL Free Agency, and the BOAF guys are here to discuss it! In the 1st half of the show, the guys will react to all of the moves the Philadelphia Eagles have made so far in Free Agency, starting with the re-signing of James Bradberry and the decision NOT to release Darius Slay. Did Howie Roseman make the right decision here? Are you concerned about both CBs' ages and a potential decline in performance moving forward? They'll also discuss the signing of RB Rashaad Penny, bringing back Boston Scott and Fletcher Cox, and more! As the 2nd half of the show kicks off, the BOAF crew will recap the other moves from around the NFL. Which ones stand out the most? Which teams have been the most noteworthy so far? Also, they'll discuss the trade between the Chicago Bears and the Carolina Panthers. What does this mean for both teams? Finally, to end the show the BOAF panel goes “NO HUDDLE” as they discuss anything and everything else surrounding the NFL, sports, and anything else that we find worth discussing
NFL Free Agency is fast approaching! As the teams around the league prepare to open their checkbooks, the BOAF guys are here to preview it all. In the 1st half of the show, the guys will preview what lies ahead in NFL Free Agency, especially with the Philadelphia Eagles. With reports of the most likely letting Chauncey Gardner-Johnson walk, does that make it mandatory for them to give Marcus Epps an extension? There are reports that Javon Hargrave, James Bradberry, and Miles Sanders will not be extended. With so many departures, how concerned are you about the defense right now? The guys will also discuss all other moves from around the NFL such as Derek Carr going to the Saints and Lamar Jackson potentially being dealt. As the 2nd half of the show kicks off, the BOAF crew will recap the NFL Combine! Which prospects stood out to them? Who helped their stock, and who saw their stock fall? The NFL Combine is underway, and the BOAF crew is here to give you their preview! But first, in the 1st half of the show, the guys will talk about the hiring of Brian Johnson and Sean Desai as the Philadelphia Eagles' new offensive and defensive coordinators, respectively. Do these hires get a thumbs up or thumbs down? What are your concerns about the abilities moving forward? As the 2nd half of the show kicks off, they'll give their preview of the NFL Combine. The event is a polarizing one, with some fans scoffing at it as unnecessary, while draft heads alike love it. So we ask, should the NFL consider getting rid of the Combine? What are the best and most important parts? Which prospects should we keep an eye on this year? Finally, to end the show the BOAF panel goes “NO HUDDLE” as they discuss anything and everything else surrounding the NFL, sports, and anything else that we find worth discussing!
The NFL Combine approaches next week, but the BOAF crew turns their attention to the NFL Draft, they'll take one last look at the 2022 Philadelphia Eagles season. In the 1st half of the show, the guys will discuss whether the 2022 season for the Eagles was a success or failure. Do you look at the loss in Super Bowl 57 as a missed opportunity that the team won't be able to recover from, or was this past season just the beginning of a new era of success for the franchise? As the 2nd half of the show kicks off, we'll cover any of the latest news from Around the NFL, including LeSean McCoy's comments regarding the hiring of Eric Bienemy in Washington. Were his comments biased and uncalled for, or was he making a fair point? Finally, to end the show the BOAF panel goes “NO HUDDLE” as they discuss anything and everything else surrounding the NFL, sports, and anything else that we find worth discussing.
The Philadelphia Eagles came up short in Super Bowl LVII as they fell to the Kansas City Chiefs, 38-35. Is it the Dallas Cowboys, the only team in the playoffs that have beaten the Philadelphia Eagles this season? Is it the 2nd seed San Francisco 49ers, who have won 10 straight games? Christmas has come and gone, but not the way Philadelphia Eagles fans wanted it after they fell just short against the Dallas Cowboys, 40-34.BOAF kicks things off in the 1st quarter of the show by reacting to the pulse of the fan base and sports media following the loss on Christmas Eve. The defeat, along with the injuries to Lane Johnson and Avonte Maddox, has resulted in some losing confidence in the Eagles and their chances of representing the NFC in the Super Bowl. Some have even said that the Eagles will be one-and-done. Are all these overreactions, or are the Eagles in serious trouble now? The BOAF crew will debate! In the 2nd quarter, we'll preview the upcoming matchup with the New Orleans Saints. This game has a lot riding on it as the Eagles are looking to lock up the #1 seed in the NFC. It remains to be seen if Jalen Hurts will be playing or not. The Eagles' chances of winning certainly are the highest with Hurts playing, but do they need him to defeat the Saints? Can they win this game with Gardner Minshew making his second straight start, but this time with no Lane Johnson? The BOAF will give their thoughts and predictions on what has turned out to be one of the biggest games of the season for the Eagles. As the 3rd quarter of the show kicks off, we'll shift gears and focus on the remaining games left in the NFL regular season as the playoff picture begins to take shape. How do we see the Week 17 games playing out? Finally, in the 4th quarter, the BOAF panel goes “NO HUDDLE” as they discuss anything and everything from the world of football and beyond!
We are two days away from the highly anticipated Christmas Eve matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys. The BOAF crew is here to preview it and talk about football with you!
