Toetsing voelt op veel scholen als iets dat “vastligt”: Het programma van toetsing en afsluiting (PTA) staat vaak overvol, het centraal eindexamen hangt als schaduw boven de bovenbouw en zekerheid wordt vaak gelijkgesteld aan het geven van cijfers. Tegelijk zit er juist in het schoolexamen opvallend veel ruimte. Ruimte om beter aan te sluiten bij de schoolvisie en bij wat leerlingen nodig hebben om op een zinvolle manier te reflecteren op hun leerproces en kennisbasis. Maar in hoeverre zijn docenten zich hiervan bewust? En waar zit de ruimte? Ik spreek hierover met Tes Schmeink, beleidsadviseur en projectleider bij de vo-raad. Tes houdt zich bezig met toetsen en examineren in het VO. En aan tafel Jasja Mulder, Agora coach bij het KWC in Culemborg. Het KWC is een school voor praktijkonderwijs, vmbo, havo, atheneum, gymnasium en KWC-agora. In dit gesprek komt scherp naar voren hoe bovengenoemde ruimte vaak ongemerkt verdwijnt: door angst voor discrepanties tussen schoolexamen en centraal eindexamen, door oude routines, of simpelweg doordat PTA's in de loop der jaren steeds voller zijn geraakt. Maar er zijn ook concrete routes terug naar eenvoud: door kritisch te kijken naar wat echt moet, dubbelingen te schrappen en toetsvormen kiezen die passen bij het doel, niet bij de gewoonte. Een belangrijk idee is dat “toetsing” niet hetzelfde hoeft te zijn als een schriftelijke toets. In het schoolexamen kun je ook werken met bewijslast, feedbackrondes, portfolio's of praktijkopdrachten. Zolang je maar helder houdt wat je wilt zien en waarom. En misschien wel het spannendste: als je onderwijs meer wilt laten draaien om ontwikkeling, nieuwsgierigheid en eigenaarschap, dan moet je toetsing dat niet dichttimmeren, maar juist mogelijk maken. En el texto para memorizar de esta semana, Pablo se refiere al contraste existente entre vivir y morir. El cristiano vive para Cristo e incluso puede morir por él. En ese sentido, la muerte es “ganancia” porque nuestro testimonio resulta mucho más poderoso y persuasivo (Fil. 1:21). Sin duda, solo alguien que realmente creyera estaría dispuesto a morir por su fe. Pero también debe reconocerse que los muertos están realmente muertos; es decir, “nada saben”. Descansan en la tumba hasta la resurrección (ver Ecl. 9:5; Juan 5:28, 29). Notice they're getting special teams guys because Coombs was already in his job. Whittingham as Crisler (Brian: [moans]), as an established outsider who locked down Harmon to survive the transition. That was the end of the Yost Cycle, and likewise this is the end of the Bo Cycle. What happens next? How does he develop ways to take advantage of Michigan's place in the new world. Money allocation is a big conversation going forward. Indiana puts all of its resources into the portal, Michigan will pay a NOB and also pay a Rolder. New offense: Not a whole lot different under Harbaugh? Utah fans: "get ready to run QB Power!"...okay! "Tell your TEs to prepare to be blockers." Sure. "Don't expect any Seth: More Urban Meyer approach where it's about efficiency more than explosives. Loaded at OL, have great RBs. Main feature of Beck is he plays a "tight end" who's really a receiver. Brian points out JJ Buchanan is 6'3"/225 and only played five snaps inline—that's just a wide receiver. Point is they're way more spread than people realize. In Break: Ryan Mallett (RIP). Craig says Lloyd tried to broker a conference with Mallett's dad and Rich Rod, neither side was interested. Jay Hill: Has the bona fides, knows where the hashes are, made Weber State a power. Schematically, going back to more of a Cover-1 look. Notre Dame defense is similar, also a lot like the Ryan Walters stuff where they turn their 4-2 into a 5-1 regularly. Really wanted to keep Cole Sullivan (as a WLB who can DE or S) and Jordan Young (as a nickel who can S or CB) for this system. Think Jyaire or Shamari would be good in that nickel role. Biggest hurdle for this staff? Probably learning how to recruit as Michigan instead of Utah.
