Boomer & Gio discuss Garrett Wilson's contract extension with the Jets, with Gio arguing it was the right move over Sauce Gardner. Boomer expects Gardner's extension next. Jerry provides a sports update including WFAN hosts reacting to callers, Jauan Jennings' trade request, Cal Raleigh winning the HR Derby, and Pat McAfee's ubiquity. MLB will use ABS in the All-Star game. The Rays are being sold. Mike Francesa disliked the new "Superman" movie. The Rangers face the Penguins in their opener. Boomer and Gio take calls on "Superman" and discuss a popcorn trick.

Boomer & Gio begin the morning talking about Garrett Wilson's contract extension with the Jets. The Jets did not have to make this deal now but they could be glad down the road that they acted early. Gio says extending Wilson before Sauce Gardner was the right move. Wilson had a strong third season with the Jets and he earned an extension while Gardner did not.

Hour 1 Boomer & Gio discuss Garrett Wilson's contract extension with the Jets, with Gio arguing it was the right move over Sauce Gardner. Boomer expects Gardner to be locked up soon.
