POPULARITY
We are exactly one week away from the SanDiegoBeer.News Awards at Societe Brewing Company. Today as we continue our countdown the awards we talk about how all the nominees got their place of honor and of course we do that over a beer that holds the record when it comes to getting the most votes, Burgeon Beer's Carlsbad Crush Pale Ale.
T'was the eve before the Burgeon Beer 8th Anniversary Invitational and we're celebrating the people that make Burgeon who they are, Melody might as well be the face of Treevana IPA...at this point she's has everything but the tattoo (and if she does, we haven't seen it, yet). Today we drink this perfect specimen of an IPA and let Melody tell us why she loves it so much.
Tough to tell is we get more lost in everything that Burgeon does to help the planet or this Double Dry Hopped version of their Juice Press Hazy IPA. Either way you're going to get a ear full of how Burgeon protects this big blue ball we live on and make a beer that has so much hop flavor it should be listed as a drug.
It was the beer they always wanted; incredibly floral, light body and incredibly approachable. Today as we wrap up our Wednesday Burgeon Beer shares their 365-24/7 crushable gateway beer, Carlsbad Crush.
Another day closer to the "TailG8" Anniversary Invitational with Burgeon Beer and Mackenzie, Melody and Tori have brought another awesome example of how Burgeon makes beer that highlights hops! Alora Aura is a West Coast Pilsner that gives light to the power Alora hops. It's crushable and tropical and a fantastic beer to crush and share with friends.
This week we're celebrating 8 years of Burgeon Beer as they countdown the days to their sold out invitational party this weekend! To start things off Mackenzie, Melody and Tori from Burgeon bought a perfect sunshine beer, Sunny Showcase XPA. Showcasing Zumo hops on a light bodied beer make this fantastic beer to tase the floralness of hops with none of the bitterness.
Today's beer defines the San Diego IPA experience, so of course it has to be at the SD Fair Craft Beer Experience! Massive flavors with and aroma of bright citrus and tropical fruit balances with a substantial bitterness that reminds you that you are drinking a West Coast IPA.
Big things happening for Burgeon Beer! Not only are they kicking off a huge party this weekend but they also have a huge announcement on some earth friendly partnerships they have have forged for 2024! You'll find how they all tire together for a beer you can experience this weekend called "Nature Calls

We end this amazing week of hoppy beers with what Burgeon Beer calls THE San Diego IPA, a little be old school and a little bit new...say "hello" to Treevana IPA.
This mirage only appears once a year and this 6th Mirage manifests itself as a West Coast IPA loaded with huge hop flavors of Nelson, Citra and Simcoe.
Nothing beats amazing synergy during a beer collaboration. There is no doubt that Burgeon Beer and Kern River Brewing have that perfect chemistry with their new beer Floatville IPA.
Burgeon is back with plenty of hops and a retro themed birthday party to talk about! We kick off the week with a beer for a cause as we drink to support Ales for ALS and Kelvin Strong.
We end the week with something really special, a beer made not only to celebrate the 1 years anniversary of The Arbor in Little Italy but also benefit Sea Trees.
It's their flagship IPA, Treevana is here!
So far we've tasted a Pale Ale and a Pilsner that shared a lot with IPAs in terms of hops. Today we see exactly what Burgeon Beer does with a Hazy IPA.
It's a staff favorite and a great choice for Summer in San Diego, Carlsbad Crush.
It's hot and humid, time for a truly thirst quenching beer. Matt and Mackenzie bring their take on a crushable pilsner with San Diego sensibility, Clever Kiwi.
Woodsy and Paul kick off the 9am hour with The Management Report as they catch up with Padres skipper Bob Melvin! Then we get a check in from the island boy himself, Ben Higgins, who calls in from Hawaii! And at the bottom of the hour, our friend Cesar from Burgeon Beer joins us in studio to let everyone know about the launch of their Tier One Pale Ale that we collaborated with Burgeon for! Plus, Flubs of the Week! Listen here!
