We sat down with sponsor Tier One Silver's management team to discuss the just released results of Curibaya's first ever drill hole. According to Peter Dembicki (President & CEO) the hole represents a major targeting breakthrough. While it didn't intersect the underlying feeder structure, the data obtained has been utilized in the fourth hole, which has crossed multiple feeder structures. Highly experienced Exploration SVP David Smithson is quite confident that this hole is going to be significant. The modeling and drill processes utilized at Curibaya are extremely dynamic and hole one's results have been crucial to determining hole four's drilling trajectory. However, some things just can't be controlled, like assay lab turnaround time. While delays have continued, the team has kept up its breakneck pace. They're now sending the lab smaller 150-meter samples to help speed things along. The plan moving ahead is focused on 5 identified feeder structures that have shown high-grade on surface. The existing permit is being modified to allow drilling on a dry river bed lying between the Madre and Sama feeders. Other permit changes will allow Tier One to pursue newly mapped structures that also have high-grade on surface. To Co-Chair Ivan Bebeck, these results are leading to exactly what's been promised, a major new discovery which will drive the company's existing stock price many times higher. Upcoming news will end the market's indifference to the company. As he has said many times before, “The bigger you look for something, the harder it is to get there…The system is real, the rocks are real, the mineralization is real…everything they want to see is there, and it's better than they thought it would be. This is absolutely a real system.” The first hole is the most important one, as it sets the tone for the entire project; Bebek believes this is just the beginning of a great run. Tier One Silver recently expanded the footprint of their flagship Curibaya silver project after discovering more high grade silver veins at surface. Channel sample highlights include 2 metres (m) of 6,278 g/t silver equivalent (AgEq), 2 m of 1,256 g/t AgEq, 6 m of 398 g/t AgEq, 12 m of 203 g/t AgEq and 17 m of 71 g/t AgEq. These results demonstrate both high-grade vein and disseminated styles of mineralization within the 4 kilometre (km) by 5 km alteration system that currently defines the mineralized system at the project. In addition, selective rock sampling from newly identified veins on surface has yielded 11 samples over 1,000 g/t silver with a peak assay of 9,910 g/t silver. Gold values from the sampled veins yielded 13 samples above 1 g/t with a peak value of 8.79 g/t. Tier One Silver is focused on creating significant value for shareholders through the exploration and potential discovery of world-class silver, gold and copper deposits in southwest Peru. Tier One Silver's main focus currently is the 100% owned Curibaya project, which consists of approximately 11,000 hectares and is located approximately 48 km north-northeast of the provincial capital, Tacna, accessible by road. Rock grab sampling at the Curibaya project has returned grades of up to 298,000 g/t silver and 934 g/t gold, with samples spread across a 4 x 5 km alteration system. We followed up with Ivan Bebek and Peter Dembicki on Tier One Silver (sponsor). A lot's been happening in Peru and with the Curibaya Project, so an update was due. Dembicki explained that they expanded Curibaya's total land package by 50 percent. Its prospects for success have also gone up dramatically and Co-Chair Bebek explained why.  The “Jewelry Box,” bonanza grades of surface silver/gold have been impressive, with over 164 samples of 200+ g/t silver and 60 samples 2 g/t gold in 3 principal vein corridors. There have been 81 samples of over 500 g/t silver and 60 samples of 2+ g/t gold as well. With a fully funded 10,000 meter drill program under way, it's a wonder that the team gets any sleep at all. They're starting believe that this system appears to be far larger than even they expected. The recent election saw a populist candidate take the Peruvian presidency, but Bebek is mostly unconcerned. Taxes were going up anyway, not just in Peru, but around the globe. The president-elect understands that mining is the backbone of Peru's economy and has appointed ministers who are consistent with that belief.  When asked about current share valuation, Co-Chair Bebek stated that the present price could be a great entry point, especially in light of how encouraging the first drill hole has been. He explained that it's taking longer to complete, which is a sure sign that mineralization runs deep. With all this going for it, Tier One Silver appears close to a major success in its world-class treasure hunt.  Website: www.TierOneSilver.com  TSX.V - TSLV

Time Index 0-2:00 - Intro - new scoping study reflects a near doubling of NPV to $1.9B, steady state EBITDA growing from $230M to $400M, 31% after-tax IRR and 3 year payback period. 2:00-6 - Sustainable Lithium Hydroxide Business - Independent LCA analysis by Minviro - the preliminary analysis shows 3 key metrics - water use/land footprint and carbon intensity - Piedmont is a stand out in all 3. What drives the numbers on all three? How is it possible for Piedmont's carbon intensity to be only a quarter of China? 6:15-8:15 - Innovative Hydroxide Technology Piedmont is using a “sulphate free” Metso Outotec process. What are the benefits of this over sulfuric acid roasting process currently used in China and planned for Australia hydroxide projects? 8:30-15:15 - Hydroxide vs. Carbonate, Price Premium - Why is Piedmont focused on lithium hydroxide rather than carbonate? - In a world of $100/t a ton carbon taxes we believe the 15t of CO2 per tonne of hydroxide difference with China will mean a $1,500/t premium for Piedmont - do you agree? - Will we see an even higher price premium in the USA given transport/logistics benefits such as lower inventory needs given close proximity and no risk of import duties? 15:15 - 23:45 - Bigger Production/Stronger Economics/Lowest Cost Global Hydroxide Producer - The scoping study outlines a near 50% increase in planned production - 30ktpa - presume this is on the back of the increased resource size? - Considering Carolina head grade of about 1.1% vs. the world's best hard rock deposit Greenbushes at 2%, how is it that Piedmont can be the lowest cost producer of hydroxide? 24:00 - 33:00 - Strategic Dialogues/Process - The 2021 study has higher price assumptions for SC6 and LiOH that are similar to current spot prices - are you seeing increased interest in off-take at pricing around the studies assumptions? - The Capex for the project has grown to ~$800M. What is the timeline for completion of DFS, full financing, financial investment decision, construction start? 33:00 - 38:00 - Piedmont as M&A Consolidator - Any update on Sayona/North American Lithium? - Do you see scope for further consolidation of hard rock projects and do you have any plans for additional project investments? - You have recently appointed Tier One global investment banks JP Morgan and Evercore. The client wanted the impossible: Give a robot all the skills of a human welder. Five years ago a custom automotive and marine supplier in Cleveland asked what was then an engineering consulting firm to help him with a labor shortage, and Path Robotics Inc. was born. "The tolerances are incredibly tight, that you have to keep with welding," co-founder and CEO Andy Lonsberry said. "And if the gaps (between pieces of sheet metal) change from 0 to 4 millimeters, you have to be able to make adjustments on the fly, seeing what's coming, move to a weave, go up onto a lift, weld in. "And these, again, are things that come very easily for a trained human welder. But for a robot, it's just impossible." Except now it's possible. Path Robotics has since moved to Columbus, and last year launched its first commercial robotics system based on the prototype built by two brothers and a fellow engineer in that factory basement, as Lonsberry told us as the latest guest in Columbus Business First's Newsmakers podcast. We talk about how the Path team solved its impossible problem, what it's like to work in cramped quarters with your brother, and why at first Lonsberry told Drive Capital, "Go away." The interview was recorded shortly after the company landed a $56 million venture capital round to expand sales and manufacturing of its AI-powered system. The round was led by VC firm Addition along with returning investors, Columbus-based Drive Capital LLC and California's Basis Set Ventures and Lemnos Lab. Lonsberry founded the company with his brother, Alex Lonsberry, and fellow engineer Matt Klein. The fourth founder is Ken Lonsberry, their father, on the business side – he didn't have to work in the basement. Today Path has more than 100 employees and could top 160 by year's end. Welding jargon like "weave" above makes sense in context, but a few terms in the interview might be unfamiliar: Tier One automotive are the very large suppliers to automakers, mass producing the same part. And in welding the "puddle" is the molten metal forming during the weld, which quickly hardens to join the parts.

The Second Phase Podcast - Personal Branding & Brand Marketing and Life Strategies for Success for Female Entrepreneurs

5 Ways to Monetize a Podcast About Anne Claessen After graduating from law school and getting two master's degrees, Anne discovered she wasn't going to be fulfilled working in the corporate world. She took time to travel and explore her options. While doing so, she discovered podcasting and decided to start her own business as a podcast manager. Anne realized pretty quickly that she wasn't the best podcast manager, it wasn't her dream job or zone of genius, but quickly realized how to monetize a podcast. Helping others do the same became her mission. Anne now empowers other podcasters to monetize their podcast even without thousands of followers. She is using her degree in strategy to help podcasters map out strategies to monetize podcasts and find profitable business models for their podcast. Anne helps her clients come up with a strategy and helps them implement it. 5 Ways to Monetize a Podcast There are five ways to monetize a podcast. The most common way is sponsorships. But sponsorships aren't the most profitable way to monetize a podcast. Affiliate links are the second way to monetize a podcast. You can add affiliate links in your show notes as well as in blog posts about the show. An affiliate link is when you like a product and get an affiliate think and when someone purchases the product you receive a commission. The third way to monetize a podcast is through creating a membership. This can create a community feel for your listeners. Donations are yet another way people monetize a podcast. Lastly, you can sell your own products and services to monetize your podcast. Audience Size to Monetize a Podcast Anne believes that you do not need a large audience to monetize a podcast. Most people think you need a large following because of sponsorships. On average a sponsor pays $25 per 1,000 downloads. For sponsorships to be lucrative, you do need a relatively large following. This can be a lot of effort for little money if you don't have a large following. It is also possible to negotiate a deal with a sponsor and the sponsor pays a set amount for a short ad per episode the ad is run. Depending on the sponsor, you may not need a large following to negotiate a decent deal and this may be more lucrative than a per download agreement. Selling your own product or service is more profitable than sponsorships. If you get more clients, you are going to make more than $25 and this is possible with simply publishing an episode vs. having so many followers and negotiating contracts with sponsors. Values Must Align When You Monetize a Podcast It's important to ensure that your values are aligned when working with sponsors. It can be a challenge, and you have to be particular with who you bring on as a sponsor. If a sponsor doesn't align with your values, it will cause confusion with your audience. If you have multiple sponsors within a single episode, it will turn people off. The ads simply become noise and put off your audience. Before you try to monetize a podcast, think about your audience and what will benefit them. You can also monetize a podcast with affiliate links for products and services you use. If you like the product and service, then it aligns with your business and podcast but will also benefit your audience. A win-win. The Expense to Monetize a Podcast Another consideration is the need for a contract when working with sponsors. This could result in an additional expense to have an attorney create the contract for you. There is definitely more work and expense related to sponsorships than with promoting your own business. Using Affiliate Links to Monetize a Podcast When using affiliate links to monetize a podcast, you can offer something that you know your audience will benefit from and help them on their business journey. The goal of your podcast is to build trust with your audience. If you are sharing tools that you love and have worked for your business, they are likely to purchase them because they trust you. The reverse is also true. If you promote things that do not align with your business just for the sake of making money as an affiliate, you can lose the trust of your audience. Using a Membership to Monetize a Podcast Step number one is to ask your audience what they want and how you can serve them. If your audience wants to connect with you more, offer a membership where you meet with them once a month for a question-and-answer session. You could also offer a membership that includes more content for those who subscribe. A common tool to use to create this option is Patreon. They suggest doing three tiers. Tier One, less expensive – members are here to support you as a podcaster Tier Two, more expensive – members receive more content Tier three, more expensive – something extra like a new masterclass about a podcast topic every month. The key is to poll your audience and see what they want. Using Donations to Monetize a Podcast Some podcasters have success with this by using “Buy Me a Coffee”. There is something tangible. The podcaster can buy themself something, versus, just getting money. Anne and Robyn agree that asking for donations is a little uncomfortable and it's best to actually provide something to your audience than ask for a donation. Selling Your Own Products and Services to Monetize a Podcast To promote your own products and services you can create an ad specifically for your business. There are three options for ad placement. The first is in the intro.  The second is a mid-roll ad, take a quick break and then go back to the episode, and the third is at the end of episodes. Anne suggests to her clients to do all three but keep it short and to the point. Don't go too deep into a promotion at the beginning because people are there to learn, and you haven't given them anything yet. Especially if you are new to podcasting, be sure to keep the ad short.  If you do an ad in the intro, keep it super short, maybe two sentences. In mid-roll, you can have a little bit longer ad because you've already given the audience something. If you are doing an interview, you can create a cliffhanger. Ask a question, then take a quick break, and since the audience wants to know the answer to the question you asked, they'll hang around to listen to the answer. Keep it to less than two minutes, less than 5 minutes. If doing an outro, you want to have a call to action to the mid-roll ad. You can say “hey, remember when I talked about my service, here is the link where you can learn more or book a call”. Tip For Podcasting Commit. It is very overwhelming and a lot of work. Pod-fade is real. People start with a lot of energy and then feel overwhelmed and quit. Create a backlog of episodes so that you have some time before you have to record episodes. Don't put too much importance on download numbers. Download numbers don't say a lot. You can have a very profitable podcast with a few downloads and a non-profitable podcast with a lot of downloads. Make a commitment so that you can enjoy the process and don't worry about numbers before trying to monetize a podcast.  Think about monetization before you think it's possible because it possible to monetize a podcast from the first episode. We spoke with Ivan Bebek Co-Founder/Co-Chair/Director and Peter Dembicki President/CEO of Tier One Silver, particularly about it’s impending listing on the TSX-V. (TSLV).  It could come as soon as this Thursday. US Investors will be able to purchase shares through brokers that allow purchase of Canadian stocks, such as TD Ameritrade, Charles Schwab, Interactive Investors and others. The US listing will come within a matter of weeks.  Originally Bebek was planning for a February listing. The Venture Exchange has been backlogged with numerous mining companies who are working through the listing process. Delays are frustrating, but here it will eventually work to Tier One investors’ advantage.  Once the drill starts turning and results follow, few will have any memory of the delay.  More importantly, while pursuing the listing, management has been extremely active. A major acquisition was consumated and more studies of the Curibaya Project were conducted in an effort to develop new targets. Additional samples were done and robust numbers returned. Bebek says that the company is now in a very strong position to develop multiple projects. CEO Dembicki observed that permits are in place and drilling will start in just a few short weeks. Peruvian assay times are relatively rapid, so expect results and news-flow to come fast and furious. And companies are once again getting paid a big premium for major discoveries. That could mean huge outsized returns for shareholders, such as yours truly.   www.TierOneSilver.com Reserved ticker TSX.V - TSLV

Today’s guest, Shannon Graham, realized he was an entrepreneur since his early teens. When he was in school, he would take the one-cent CDs from the Columbia House catalog and upsell them to his friends and classmates to make a profit. This was his very first taste of being a business owner, and he knew it was for him.Graham began his coaching career in his early 20s while working a full-time job. It did not take long for him to start making more income from his coaching business than his full-time career. By that point, he quit his nine to five to work full time for himself and has never looked back. He now works with ultra-high net worth individuals who have gone through the ultimate failure (losing their purpose and not achieving their fulfillment) through his million-dollar program — Second Summit. His goal is to bring together the 98 percent and the 2 percent to create a better world and bring civilization to Tier One — a civilization that can utilize all the natural energy resources on a planet. But before that can happen, he helps individuals realize their full potential. Can money buy happiness? Contrary to the popular belief that money cannot buy happiness, Graham explains that it 100 percent can. “Happiness is not a core state of being.” Just like sadness, it comes and goes. People confuse happiness and fulfillment. They believe that to truly be content with their lives, they have to be happy. However, as human beings, you cannot be happy all day every day. How can you reach fulfillment? The one thing in life that everyone is trying to achieve (even if they do not know it) is fulfillment. Fulfillment is how we feel about ourselves. Many people think that money can make you feel fulfilled. However, you can be poor and still feel fulfilled, and you can be wealthy and never feel fulfilled. While making money is a science, fulfillment is an art. There is “no clear blueprint” on how you can get it and where you can find it. An issue that Graham comes across from these ultra net worth individuals is that while they were making a way to earn money, they sacrificed their fulfillment. This sacrifice then drags them down. But Graham is here to help turn things around. If you like what Shannon Graham is all about or what he teaches, then check out his website for more information. Tier One Silver (sponsor) is currently one of the most exciting silver plays in the world, but you’ll have to wait to buy the stock. The Company is currently an unlisted spin-off of Auryn Resources, expecting  its TSX listing (TSLV) in February, with its OTC listing to follow shortly thereafter. The timing of the spin co’s was essential to minimize the potential tax fallout for US Investors.  Tier One Silver’s new CEO Peter Dembicki, a former championship rower, is laser focused on the 11,000 hectare Curibaya project. Drill permits are on the way and targeting completion is near. Tier One will drill up to 40 holes from 20 platforms over a 473-hectare area, which is within the 20 square kilometre mineralized alteration zone where high-grade vein corridors have recently sampled grades up to 298 kg/t silver and 14.1 g/t gold. It’s no wonder that Chair Ivan Bebek is so upbeat on Tier One. And as shareholders, we believe it was well worth the wait. Some opportunities require a little bit of patience and faith in management's ability to get the job done and clearly this is one of them.  Go to the the company’s website at www.TierOneSilver.com for more information and to sign-up for updates.

Ivan Bebek joined us to provide an update on the completed Auryn Resources transaction (sponsor). Here's how it worked. Auryn acquired Eastmain Resources and became Fury Gold Mines. At the same time it spun off its Peruvian assets into two new companies, Sombrero Resources and Tier One Metals. Shareholders of Auryn (on the record date) now own 1 share in each of the 3 new companies. Fury began trading last week. Sombrero and Tier One will begin trading in early 2021. Valuation is tentative, because Sombrero and Tier One are currently private companies and for now have no market listings. (Due to US tax considerations). Several analysts are following the company and have issued price targets as high as $5 per share for Fury alone, well above it's current price.  Not to worry. All the companies are well capitalized and moving quickly ahead with their business plans. Fury has a fully funded 50,000 meter drill program soon to commence. Ivan is quite confident that the program will yield big results and this should mean big profits to shareholders. News will be flowing shortly.  Once the Peruvian companies start trading, the true value of the transaction will become apparent to all. It's a case of the parts being worth far more than the whole. As shareholders, we couldn't be happier with the way things are progressing.  www.FuryGoldMines.com  www.sombreroresources.com  www.tieronemetals.com Ticker Symbol on the NYSE and TSX - FURY
