Většina celostátních amerických médií, těch médií, která by jinak po něčem takovém ihned skočila, opakovala a rozebírala tento smutný příběh do kola celé dny, a možná i týdny, dlouhé dny mlčela. Příčina mlčení řady médií byla podle všeho jednoduchá. Tato story se jim nehodila do současného mustru, který propagují. Oběť, pětiletý chlapec byl běloch, a jeho vrah, donedávna pohodový soused, černoch. Až po několika dnech, kdy se i přes urputné mlčení pokrokových médií začalo o této události v Americe hodně mluvit, se konečně objevily alespoň zmínky v televizi i novinách. Jeden z komentátorů nahodil otázku, která vystihuje situaci v Americe možná lépe, než stovka obsáhlých komentářů: „Co se to proboha s Amerikou děje? Dokážete si vůbec představit, kdyby obětí nebylo pětileté bílé dítě, ale černé? A kdyby vrahem nebyl černoch, ale běloch? Kolik demonstrací bychom viděli? Kolik vypálených a vyrabovaných obchodů, kolik zastřelených policistů? Je smutné, že si musíme začít těchto věcí všímat, ačkoliv jsme je doposud nepotřebovali. Mám na mysli tato rozdělování.“ Co se nyní odehrává, co ospravedlňuje rasismus s obráceným znaménkem, a proč mu tleskají nejvlivnější politici a největší média? Cannon Hinnant was in his front yard playing as any five-year-old would be, before he was shot execution-style by a madman near the home of Cannon's father. Sadly, we must point out, a white 5-year-old boy and a black man who lived next door to the father. There was no outrage. No protests. No tears. Why? This story did not fit the media agenda of racial injustice⏤so they did what the media always does when they don’t like the storyline, they ignored the story altogether. Americans are confusing what we at one time called the news⏤with media outlets. There really is no news⏤not when you’re in the business of selling advertising or creating clicks. Everyone is selling something. Selling a product, selling an idea, selling a service, but selling.  As the Blaze reports: While some of the media has neglected to cover the appalling murder of Cannon Hinnant, people around the world have been emotionally touched and heartbroken by the tragedy. Some have shown their support for the family of the slain 5-year-old by donating to a GoFundMe campaign, which now exceeds half a million dollars.

A once moral society that holds up wolves as sheep, is either made up of liars or has been corrupted beyond recognition. They will always lead the innocent to slaughter either through malicious deceit or through a perverted sense of the greater good and best intentions, which do indeed pave the road to hell.
