(Lander, WY) – The KOVE 1330 AM / 107.7 FM Today in the 10 interview series Coffee Time continued today with host Vince Tropea, who recently spoke with Darren Clifford. Clifford runs the Caught the Fire Bug website, which aims to provide wildfire news across the country, largely with employees who have been firefighters themselves, like Clifford. The CTFB mission is to “tell wildfire stories, spread awareness, and educate the public about the wildfires that threaten our landscapes.” Clifford, who now lives in Riverton, shares his story of moving from structure firefighting to wildland firefighting, and then to wildfire news reporting, for which CTFB was a major contributor during the Wyoming wildfires Fremont County experienced in the summer of 2025. Additionally, Clifford discusses the other fire mitigation services CTFB provides, what folks should be on the lookout for during the upcoming fire season following a mostly moisture-less Winter, a mini-lesson on what fire containment means, and more. Check out the full Coffee Time interview with Clifford below! Be sure to tune in to Today in the 10 and Coffee Time interviews every morning from 7:00 to 9:00 AM on KOVE 1330 AM / 107.7 FM, or stream it live right here.

Through a soul story woven with authenticity and warmth, I share how moments of chaos can transform into moments of connection. Whether it's laughter over spilled milk, the quiet of bedtime routines, or the sacred pause of morning coffee, this episode celebrates the power of mindfulness in motherhood. We tend to escape life through loved-up movies, misty glasses, and endless “what ifs.” But that's all temporary. The real gift is here, now - in the laughter of our children, the warmth of a shared meal, the quiet pause between chores. Living in the moment doesn't erase the chaos; it transforms it into connection. It reminds us that joy isn't found in the perfect script of a film, but in the imperfect, beautiful script of our everyday lives.Love and Light,Salomé

Harrison is leading the initiative to bring a Wyoming Classical Academy charter school to Riverton, which will be open to students in all of Fremont County. The Academy is a proposed tuition-free public charter school based on the Hillsdale curriculum, and focuses on “classic books, logic, rhetoric, mathematics, science, and the fine arts, while fostering critical thinking, communication, and character development.” There is currently a Wyoming Classical Academy campus operating in Mills, and one that is set to open in Alpine in the fall of 2026. Harrison, who runs Smart-Start Quality Child Care in Riverton and operates it under the Montessori model, explained that the goal is to open the Riverton Campus to grades K-6 to start off, then add grades each year after that. The Academy would be tuition-free, with no entrance exams or religious affiliation. Harrison says the goal is to have a 2027/28 school year opening date, after the program application is submitted to the Wyoming Charter School Board in March of 2026. Before that application can be submitted, Harrison said they need to have between 150-200 letters of interest. They currently already have over 80 letters. Folks can fill out the letter of interest here. (Note: the letter of interest is not a commitment.) A parent information night will take place tomorrow night, November 18, in the Riverton Library at 6 PM. Abi Murray invites us to a cup of coffee and a nice conversation care of the Chatty Cafe Scheme. This all began on a typical wet and windy UK day when Abi's sister Alex Hoskyn was in a supermarket café with her four month old son, who wasn't great company, and she herself was feeling a bit tired and a bit fed up. Alex looked around the cafe and saw others who looked just as down as she felt herself and she started to think about the positive impact we can have on one other simply by sitting together and communicating. She knew from her own experience that when you are feeling lonely, a short conversation with another human can really brighten your day. It was in that very moment her ‘Chatter & Natter' table idea began (in her head where all dreams do) and it soon became reality. Now in 900 cafes throughout the UK and an additional 200 in Australia, the Chatty Cafe Scheme allows anyone feeling lonely to take a seat and connect. Abi shares the journey she and Alex have been on and the importance of creating community. We also speak with volunteer John Ford about his experience with this organization and what it's meant to him to connect with others as someone who moved to the UK from another country himself.
