Former Oklahoma City Police Officer Daniel Holtzclaw Interrogation AUDIO (complete) Daniel Ken Holtzclaw (born December 10, 1986) is an American former Oklahoma City Police Department patrol officer who was convicted in December 2015 of multiple counts of rape, sexual battery, forcible oral sodomy, and other sexual charges.[4] Holtzclaw was convicted of eighteen counts involving eight different women. According to the police investigators, Holtzclaw abused his position as an officer by running background checks to find information that could be used to coerce victims into sex.[1] During the trial, the defense questioned the victims' credibility during cross-examination, bringing up their criminal records.[5] Of the thirteen women who accused Holtzclaw, several had criminal histories such as drug arrests, and all of them were African American.[6] The prosecution argued that victims were deliberately chosen by Holtzclaw for these reasons.[7] Holtzclaw pleaded not guilty to all charges. On December 10, 2015, he was convicted on 18 of 36 charges, and on January 21, 2016, he was sentenced to 263 years in prison.[8][9][10] Jason Flom (a founding Board Member of the Innocence Project), right-wing commentator Michelle Malkin and others have supported Holtzclaw's claims of innocence. On August 1, 2019, Holtzclaw was denied an appeal by the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals, which upheld both his convictions and prison sentence. The defense petitioned the Supreme Court of the United States on the basis that merging seventeen cases together "strains credulity". On March 9, 2020, the Supreme Court refused the petition.

Daniel Holtzclaw made an odd traffic stop in which he violated several policies on what he thought was a drunk driver. Hours later he would find himself in front of detectives being accused of sexual assault and rape. In the following months 19 more individuals would come out with allegations of being sexually assaulted by Holtzclaw. The trial was more than confusing and the judge was forced to resign due to having sex with other prosecutors, the victims were caught lying, evidence was proven to be non existent, and MSM published, with extreme media bias, a rumor that was proven to be absolutely false yet the jury was not aware that it was false and it was never addressed in trial. Was Daniel Holtzclaw a serial rapist, narcissist , and corrupt cop? Was he some of those things, or was he completely innocent? Find out today on this Failure to Stop Breakdown with former Detective Drew Breasy and Former Street Cop Eric Tansey. Part two of Scott's coverage of the Holtzclaw case, wherein he discusses the interview.
The first part of Scott's coverage of the Daniel Holtzclaw case — the cop charged with rape during a traffic stop. Originally aired January 2020.
Buckle up. This first story is awful. Daniel Holtzclaw had been an officer with the Oklahoma City Police Department for a few years when a woman came forward with an accusation. Her name was Jannie Ligons. She told officers that she’d been stopped by a police officer late at night, as she was coming home from bingo. He’d sexually assaulted her. Jannie was traumatized, but she remembered enough details to give detectives key information. They zeroed in on Daniel Holtzclaw. But as they dug into his past, they grew increasingly disturbed. It appeared Daniel had a pattern of targeting vulnerable black women, and in at least one case, a vulnerable black girl. Jannie Ligons’ bravery got this investigation moving forward, but she wasn’t the first woman to alert police to Daniel’s modus operandi. She was just the first to be taken seriously. Then Brandi tells us the story of Richard Mason, a multi-millionaire who appeared to have it all. He had three children. He’d co-founded a successful business. But his health was failing him. Finally, when he was in his mid-50s, doctors gave him upsetting news. He had cystic fibrosis. That part wasn’t a complete surprise. Cystic fibrosis ran in his family. But what did surprise him was the revelation that he was most likely infertile, and always had been. Richard was stunned. If he was infertile, how had he fathered three children? And now for a note about our process. For each episode, Kristin reads a bunch of articles, then spits them back out in her very limited vocabulary. Brandi copies and pastes from the best sources on the web. And sometimes Wikipedia. (No shade, Wikipedia. We love you.) We owe a huge debt of gratitude to the real experts who covered these cases. Daniel Holtzclaw seemed like a great guy. He was an OKC police officer with a bright future, but this persona would be destroyed in an instant. After only a few years on the force - Daniel was accused of abusing his status and power as a police officer to sexually assault women he carefully selected while on his patrol. ---- twitter: @apexandabyss instagram: @apexandabyss email: apexandabyss@gmail.com Website: apexandabyss.com ---- Links: patreon.com/apexandabyss https://www.zazzle.com/apexandabyss https://apexandabyss.threadless.com/ ---- Music: Kai Engel - December Ars Sonor - Efterdyningen Lee Rosevere - Open Window

Spring has sprung and several U.S. states have seen this as the perfect time to sow the seeds of discrimination and oppression. North Carolina passed a vicious anti-LGBTQ bill, HB2. It was introduced and passed, all in one day! NC Attorney General announced he will not defend the "shameful" law. Hot on North Carolina's heels, Georgia passed the anti-gay "Religious Freedom" bill. On Monday, Governor Nathan Deal vetoed the bill as he declared he would. Inmates in New York are routinely denied feminine menstrual products and supplies. Often this is a tactic used to control and punish. A New York City councilwoman is trying to change this. Kansas students get a $2500 reward if they rat on their transgender classmates for being in the "wrong" bathroom. In Arizona, where polling places have been cut back statewide, the Phoenix mayor has called on a federal investigation into voting problems. Arizona cut back the number of polling places statewide, but for some reason, the city of Phoenix where minorities comprise the majority of the population, got a disproportionately small number of voting stations. In Brooklyn, the DA recommends no jail time for Peter Liang, the police officer who killed Akai Gurley. In Oklahoma, Daniel Holtzclaw, the cop who was convicted of raping 13 black women, is no longer listed in the Oklohoma prison system. This makes it difficult for his victims who filed a lawsuit against him. A scathing report by an independent investigations task force says the the state of Michigan, under the leadership of Gov. Rick Synder, was "fundamentally accountable" for the Flint tap water poisoning. In Brooklyn, Glen Grays was doing his job delivering the mail. He was harrassed and beaten up by four cops for criticising their driving. A 27 year old woman, Loreal Tsingine, was killed by police in Arizona. Tuesday, March 29, 6pm PST
Gynnya McMillen was 16. It was her first arrest, a family dispute. The authorities used martial arts on her in the detention center. She's dead. Another trans woman is dead, Monica Loera, of Austin, TX. She's the first to be murdered in 2016. The Flint water poisoning atrocity unfolds as we learn that state workers in Flint were provided bottled water, even though they publicly assured residents of the water's safety, while privately mocking and deriding them in emails. Demands and petitions for the governor's resignation flood the Internet. The FBI has begun a criminal investigation into the Case of the Toxic Water. 5 percent of polluters create 90 percent of toxic emissions. Take a wild guess where those Super Polluter facilities are located. The Navajo water supply is also quite toxic, perhaps worse than Flint's, and the Navajos are wondering why they can't seem to generate any media attention. Oklahoma GOP bill would ban suicidal LGBTQI teens from seeking help from queer-friendly therapists. The legislation is the latest in OK Rep. Sally Kern's crusade against gay people. Former Oklahoma officer Daniel Holtzclaw, who was convicted of raping 13 black women and sentenced to 263 years, has disappeared from the Oklahoma Dept of Corrections online database that is open to the public. The authorities refuse to comment, which may defy state law that says that the victims are entitled to know of their offender's whereabouts. Five Florida cops face prison for a vicious beating of an unarmed man who had already surrendered. Four officers plead guilty to violating Derrick Price's rights. Last Tuesday, Jan. 26, the fifth officer Jesse Terrell was indicted with charges stemming from the beating which was caught on video. On Jan 27, the video was released to the public. Tues. If you ain't mad, you ain't paying attention. Justice Scalia shows that he might be a Supreme, but he's an ignorant bigot too. Abby Fisher is still mad. In reaction to the recent events at the University of Missouri, state Republican senators want to strip the scholarships of any college football player who strikes in solidarity with equality issues, because "sports revenue matters." Serial rapist and former cop Daniel Holtzclaw is on suicide watch after his conviction on 18 counts of sexual assault. A Chicago police commander is acquitted of excessive force, even though the suspect's DNA was found on the barrel of his gun. Two mosques in California were vandalized. Another was firebombed. The suspect has been charged with a hate crime. An update as the trial of the first officer accused of fatally wounding Freddie Gray is wrapping up. And three correction officers who beat mentally ill Michael Tyree to death in his holding cell last August have pled not-guilty. Tuesday, December 15, 6pm Pacific.
