After a riveting opening to the season, we get a few plot heavy episodes that don't really move the plot forward all that much, which Daniel Faraday can probably explain how that is possible. Sayid grows a majestic set of hair as Kate does he best Marie from Breaking Bad impression and snatches dat baby. Daniel thinks Jack is bald. Eric grows more weary of the episodes as things go on. The both (shocker) find Kate annoying. This is a big episode for fans of references to The Stormlight Archive or Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors.
Matt tries to remember who on the island is pregnant. Sam gives us some behind the scenes details on his film. And we meet Kate's mysterious secret son...again! The Jack and Kate relationship is literally put on trial. Ben tells the story of the To Kill a Mockingbird shooting that wasn't. Kate can't help but run... toward motherhood.

Lots of questions this week: Why won't Kate let her mother see Aaron? Why is she really mad at Sawyer? And how much should we blame Locke for his own incompetent leadership? It's that time of the week to once again get Lost as we look at the TV series of the same name and move into the 4th episode of the 4th season, Eggtown. Is this guaranteed to be a bin for Noah? Does this episode have the worst title of any ever episode in the history of the show? Why can't Ben and Noah get past a simple explanation of a scene? What famous news network apparently has an airline as well? What do you make as Locke as a dictator? How amazing is Ben once again? Should a person really get banished? Which plot twist do we like the best? Do we like having Sun and Jin back? And is Kate annoying this week once more to Noah? It's an episode that you want to listen to, so do it!★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★
GUESTS: Dan Toy & Esteban Rios Paul brings together the unstoppable force and the immovable object in this jam packed episode. Centering around "Eggtown", the guys discuss love triangles, episode titles, character motives, acting chops, and much, much more.
We discuss Kate and the reveal that Aaron is one of the Oceanic Six in the episode with the stupidest title in the entire series. Did Kate kidnap Aaron? What happened to Claire? Is Krista right about Jack knowing that Aaron is his nephew, and that's why he doesn't want to see him? Back on the Island, Kate uses Sawyer to enact a pretty impressive con to get Miles to tell her what the outside world knows about her. Locke is less than pleased about Kate going against his wishes, and since he's a dictator now, he tells her she has to leave the barracks. Neither of us are very pleased with Locke right now.
It’s time for Kate’s trial! We’re asking for some Miles and Locke egg-rotica. We have a bunch of incredible television to talk about this week, folks. Good, good stuff from all our shows. And, of course, a Kate episode. First, Elementary gets deep in "We Are Everyone," eschewing their more procedural elements something truly emotionally rewarding. Then, LOST! hits us with (sigh) a Kate episode, "Eggtown," but then brings right back up again with the glorious "The Constant," which J. says is his favorite episode of the entire series. It's so good, in fact, that not even the disappointingly-familiar "The Other Woman" can bring us down. Especially when Friday Night Lights brings us "Full Hearts," a triumph that's nothing but wall-to-wall goodness. Robby also talks about Glee's "The Quarterback," as we find out if the writers figured out a way to write around the death of one our their star actors. Next time: Deep Space Nine, with "Starship Down," "Little Green Men," and "The Sword of Kahless." Also, Robby's been watching Breaking Bad, so J. might throw the rest of the show out in favor of that. TUNE IN TO FIND OUT!
This week, we discuss:The newest episode of Elementary, which features (wait for it!) great character moments and a predictable, boring mystery.Three more fourth season episodes of Deep Space Nine: "Hippocratic Oath," "Indiscretion," and "Rejoined." And "Crossing the Line," the next episode of Friday Night Lights.Next week, we proceed to the weird part of LOST!'s fourth year, with "Eggtown," "The Constant," and "The Other Woman."
Eggs, anyone? This week, Matt looks back at LOST episode 4x04, "Eggtown." The podcast discusses the Miles mystery, Kate's temporal love triangle, her flashforward trial... and an ending that can only make us hate Kate.

Welcome to our second podcast! Our second weekly LOST podcast about episode 4.04, "Eggtown." Kate is taking care of Aaron? What lies are the Oceanic 6 telling to the world? And, as always, a special spoiler section at the end for those who MUST be in the know. We're in the process of getting it up on iTunes, but for now you can download it right here! Lost audio reviews: back for one week only! Despite my optimism, it'll be back to a text review for the next episode since I'll be out of town. In the meantime, here's 30 minutes of speculative (and somewhat hoarse) chatter on the specialist subject of "Eggtown - Parenthood and the Oceanic 6".
