In this year-end Team Teaching Weekend, Tim Smith shared how God taught him that obedience begins with the simple realization of “I can”, meeting people where they are, trusting the Holy Spirit, and walking alongside others without owning the outcome. Darin Zook followed with a message on trusting God, reflecting on a season of anxiety, pressure, and uncertainty, teaching that freedom comes when we release the weights Jesus already died to remove and trusting God as our Provider, Peace, Shepherd, and Faithful One. This message was recorded live on December 28th, 2025.

Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi Adekunle Tuesday 15th April His Descent And Ascent 2Jesus didn't just come to earth to save us from sin, He died, descended to the lowest parts of it, to the realm of the dead, and then ascended to the highest place in heaven. And all this, He did this for your sake. When He died, he descended to Hades which is sometime referred to as hell, sheol or the place of the dead.Psalm 16:10 (NKJV), “For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.”Psalm 16:10 (TPT) puts it this way: “For you will not abandon me to the realm of death, nor will you allow your Faithful One to experience corruption.”According to Scriptures, Sheol, has two parts. In the story of Lazarus and the rich man, we see this clearly: Lazarus was carried to Abraham's bosom (paradise), while the rich man was in torment (hell). Luk.16:22-23 After His death on the cross, Jesus descended into Sheol to confront the devil and liberate those held captive. This is why Psalm 16:10 says, that “You will not leave my soul in hell, not allow you holy one sees corruption…”. Jesus went to the place of the dead, triumphed over the enemy and released the righteous souls awaiting redemption. This victory has significant meaning for us. It confirms that death and the powers of hell has no dominion over those in Christ. Jesus has already conquered Sheol, stripped the devil of his power, and broken the chains of the grave. Because of this, we now have access to life, freedom, and victory. Always remember this - IN CHRIST, DEATH AND HELL HAS NO POWER OVER YOU!I pray for you today: In every area the enemy seeks to exert the power of Sheol over your life—be it fear, bondage, or oppression—that power be broken in Jesus' Name. Christ has already finished the work for you. Stand in that victory and live free.God bless you, and enjoy your day.

If we want to grow in faith, it is imperative that we ask ourselves - what competes with faith in our lives? What hinders us from being able to walk in faith? If faith comes by listening to the Word of God, then the reverse is true as well. Our faith is decreased when we listen to things that are contrary to the Word of God. Unbelief and doubt come into our lives when we give our ear to other things. What are you focused on? Your own opinions or the opinions of other people? The lies of the enemy? Shift your focus to the Faithful One and to His word, and your faith will increase!Faith is not something God expects us to muster up on our own. In fact, true faith doesn't come from us at all! Discussion QuestionsSermon Overview: Respond to God's greatness with joy and submission from a trusting heart.Digging Deeper:    Read Psalm 951. Psalm 95:1-5 calls God's people to rejoice in him as our sovereign Savior. What does that look like? What are some of the concrete pieces of evidence we might point to in our lives that would reveal a joy in God (or lack thereof)?  2. How do you find the world around you calling for your attention and affection?3. What are some of the ways we can be aware of and fight against the allurements of the world, the flesh, and the devil?  What strategies have you found effective in your own fight for joy in God? 4. What is the (grammatical) relationship between verses 1-2 and verses 3-5?  (Note well the first word of v. 3.)  What is our take-away?5. Pastor Brett helped us see from vv. 6-7a that God calls us to submit ourselves to our attentive Shepherd.  How does a keen awareness of God's tender care for us help us humbly submit our lives to him? 6. Are there areas of your life that you are perhaps not fully submitting to God? What would it look like for you to (more fully) submit every aspect of your life to God?7. In Psalm 95:7b-11 God calls us to trust him, the Faithful One, who always keeps his promises to his people.  Why is it hard to trust God and his promises?8. This final Section of Psalm 95 is a warning to us. It is a call for us to guard against hardening our hearts.  Why should we see this warning as God's kindness to us? Are there ways you have seen God use his warnings as a means of grace in your life or in the lives of those around you? Please share. 9. In 1 Corinthians 10:11, we read "Now these things happened to (the people of Israel) as an example, but they were written down for our instruction, on whom the end of the ages has come. (See also 1 Cor. 10:6). It is clear that God wants us to learn (receive instruction) from the example of the people of Israel as recorded for us in the Old Testament. How does this passage help us apply the message of Psalm 95:7b-11?Prayer

Is it biblical to walk through life alone?

Is it biblical to walk through life alone? How does community impact our faith? When my children were young, and I still worked outside of the home, I spent some time as a Bible study leader in our church's women's ministry. What we found was that no matter what time we held Bible studies, it was hard to get women to come. Stay at home moms wanted to come in the morning. Working moms had to come on the night and weekends, but everyone found it a hard choice to spend time away from their families. This is an important conversation, because we are so very busy these days. In fact, moms are so busy that community usually takes the back seat, or gets neglected altogether. Add to that that many of us have experienced church hurt, or pain from our attempts to walk in community and things just get even more difficult. Yes, it might be hard, but we can choose to allow hard things to propel us toward God for the comfort and help we need. Join me and special guest, Erin H. What if I don't FEEL full of faith? What if it doesn't FEEL like God is being faithful to me, or to my family? What if I've prayed and begged God to show Himself faithful, but I just can't feel it, or see it with my own eyes? These are the questions we're asking, and finding answers to, on today's podcast. There have been many, MANY times over the course of my 45 years that I haven't FELT like God was being faithful. I have FELT like my own faith was wavering, causing me to doubt, ask hard questions, and even, at times, grow a bit cynical. One of those times was after we miscarried our third baby. Why are so many people deconstructing their faith? Is there a healthy way to do it? Those are the questions we're going to be answering on the podcast today. Warren, as we help you understand what deconstruction is so that you can help your children when they have legitimate questions about their faith. Have you ever struggled with your faith? Have you struggled to understand why God does what He does, or why He allows things to happen that can be so painful? I certainly have. It has become wildly popular in today's culture to question our faith. People call it deconstruction, and some very popular figures are doing it very publicly. There's a natural time in the development of our faith, or our children's faith, where we have to own it for ourselves, but deconstruction goes well beyond that. What better way to kick off a new brand new year than to spend some time solidifying our faith as parents so that we can help our children do the same thing? Let's learn to REconstruct our faith when challenges to it come! Tune in now to meet author and Bible study teacher, Erin H. Warren as we begin this important conversation! In The Parable of the Talents, Jesus describes the Kingdom of God in terms of a faithful Master and servants. What can we, as members of the kingdom, learn from the servants' actions and from the Faithful One? How can we be found faithful? Pastor Jordan Kologe expounds Matthew 25:14-30.

I greet you in Jesus' precious name! It is Saturday morning, the 4th of November, 2023, and this is your friend, Angus Buchan, with a thought for today. We start in the Book of Hebrews 10:23: "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful." Our faith is not in ourselves, but it is in the Faithful One. It is in the name of Jesus. You see, the farmer, Job knew that very well, and he said in the Book of Job 13:15: (Even) "Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him." It's not in ourselves but in Christ alone that we put our trust. It is not in public opinion - no, we must stand strong on the hope of our confession. That is what the scripture is saying. You see, Jesus asked Peter, "But who do you say that I am?"Peter answered and said to Him, "You are the Christ."Mark 8:29Oh, my dear friend, He is not the man upstairs, He is not our mate, He is not the big boss, He is the Son of the Living God. You know, that name is so powerful and so controversial that by simply confessing that Jesus is Lord, 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians lost their lives, they were martyred, their heads were cut off - just by that statement! - 21 Coptic Christians and one Ghanaian Christian, but they are sitting around the throne of Jesus today. They are martyrs, indeed. We have seen miracles take place. I have seen when the name of Jesus is spoken in hope, that blind eyes have opened, deaf ears have been un-stopped, and people have been delivered from darkness and evil. You see, 1 John 4:4 says greater is He who is within us than he who is in the world. He who is within us is the Holy Spirit, he who is in the world is the devil and he has no power over that Name. Please use that name more often. Use it when you have need of help, when you are lonely, when you are afraid, use that name. The power is in the confession of the name.Have a beautiful day today, Jesus bless you and goodbye.

The Bible teaches that what we do with very little is what we'll do with much. God has always rewarded those who remained faithful to him. Faithfulness is when we consistently do the right things for the right reason all the time. God opens doors for the person who remains faithful to him. This is Pastor Tom Arnould inviting you to join me for the message “Faithful with a Few”.

I greet you in Jesus' precious name! It is Wednesday morning, the 16th of August, 2023, and this is your friend, Angus Buchan, with a thought for today. If you listen carefully, you can hear the raindrops falling on my tin roof. Oh, what a beautiful sound! In winter, where we live, we hardly get any rain, hardly ever. It gets very cold, it gets very dusty and dry, but as I am sharing this message with you I am rejoicing. The Faithful One has sent us some rain! I want to speak to you about a broken and contrite heart this morning.“The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.”Psalm 34:18The Oxford Dictionary described the word “contrite” as someone who is sorry for what they have done. Have you messed up today? Have you made a mistake? Have you done something that you are not proud of? Well, just say sorry because the Lord is quick to save a crushed spirit. When we have been humbled and our pride has been crushed and our stubbornness has been broken, it is the broken heart which pleases the Lord. You know, it is only when you squeeze an orange that you can taste the sweet juice. It is only when a rose petal is crushed that we smell the sweet fragrance. “…God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” 1 Peter 5:5If we want to truly help other people and be honestly sympathetic towards them and to even feel their pain, then we must be prepared to be broken ourselves, otherwise, we don't really understand, and we don't feel what they are going through. You know, when I listen to a young up-and-coming preacher sharing his message with passion, and he gets deaf ears and no response from the congregation, it is extremely painful. One young man came and poured his heart out, weeping one day. He said, “I preached my heart out but I know I was too hard on the congregation, and I got no response,” but I think he saw in my eyes that I knew exactly what he was going through. Many years ago, I got up and I preached a message. Everything went wrong. It was in a hotel, and the food was very late in coming. The people had been drinking, and they were not interested in hearing about Jesus. I stood up on the floor, and I preached my heart out. I made an altar call and there was no response, just folded arms and people smiling at each other, not interested. I was broken, humiliated. I went to bed that night and said, “That is the last time, Lord.” I wrestled all night with the Holy Spirit, and the Lord said, “Are you going to do this for Me or for the people?” I said, “For You, Lord.” And the next day, I went out again, and I preached again and we had an absolutely wonderful response from the crowd. If you want to be sympathetic, you have to be prepared to go through it yourself. Have a blessed day and go and comfort someone.Goodbye.

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:    GENESIS 11:26-32 - 26 When Terah had lived 70 years, he fathered Abram, Nahor, and Haran. 27 Now these are the generations of Terah. Terah fathered Abram, Nahor, and Haran; and Haran fathered Lot. 28 Haran died in the presence of his father Terah in the land of his kindred, in Ur of the Chaldeans. 29 And Abram and Nahor took wives. The name of Abram's wife was Sarai, and the name of Nahor's wife, Milcah, the daughter of Haran the father of Milcah and Iscah. 30 Now Sarai was barren; she had no child. 31 Terah took Abram his son and Lot the son of Haran, his grandson, and Sarai his daughter-in-law, his son Abram's wife, and they went forth together from Ur of the Chaldeans to go into the land of Canaan, but when they came to Haran, they settled there. 32 The days of Terah were 205 years, and Terah died in Haran. Faithfulness is a fruit of the Spirit, and it's vital for every Christian, in every walk of life (Galatians 5:22). When we are faithful, we are rooted in motivations and desires that are in line with the Bible, and our feet are steady upon the solidness of God. But faithfulness is something I struggle with... a lot. I find it hard to do what I need to do, because the desires of my sinful nature are at war with the desires of serving God (Romans 7:15-25). Feelings of discouragement and tiredness make it even harder for me to keep walking the straight and narrow path. My struggles and weaknesses pull me into a spiral of hopelessness and leave me feeling like I'll never actually progress in my faith. Having fallen many times in my life, I sometimes question if God has given up on me..While pondering these thoughts, I was reading Psalm 91 when something stood out to me. The psalmist writes, “His faithfulness is your shield and rampart” (verse 4). HIS faithfulness. Not mine. While I'm slipping and sliding on life's path, God is steady. He's firm. He's faithful. Throughout our lives, we will always have sinful struggles and temptations, but God doesn't leave us. He shields us, holds our hand, and promises to walk with us. Jesus is Immanuel, which means “God with us” (Matthew 1:23). Because Jesus died on the cross and rose from the grave, everyone who puts their trust in Him is forgiven for all their sins. Not only that, but the Holy Spirit lives inside Christians, transforming their desires and empowering them to follow Jesus..Through our weakness, God doesn't expect perfection or performance out of fear (1 John 4:18). But He does expect us to find strength in His faithfulness, letting Him take the reins and fight our battles with us. He gives us the strength to endure, and He shows us a way out of every temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13). As we lean on His strength in our weakness, we learn how much we need Him. We grow closer to Him in love, finding absolute joy in walking with Him..When we feel tired and worn out from the fight, feeling like our faith is weak, we can lean on His strength. Remember—He's the voice that whispers “I'm not giving up on you” when we are in our darkest struggles. His faithfulness will shield us, protect us, and strengthen us. Therefore, in our struggles we can confidently call the Lord “my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust” (Psalm 91:2). • Lily Walsh.• What weaknesses do you have that make you feel inadequate for the path ahead? Consider taking a moment to bring these troubles to Jesus, trusting in His faithfulness and love. .“If we are faithless, he remains faithful; for he can't deny himself.” 2 Timothy 2:13 (WEB)

In the final episode of, “Manifestation Mastery,” we talk about the most important key, not only for manifesting, but for life.  There is a tendency to not be happy or satisfied until we get what we are wanting to manifest, but manifestation is not a work or something we do to be happy. Keeping your joy and peace, regardless if you’re seeing the manifestations or not, and staying happy in the midst of wanting things to change or needing things to manifest is crucial. As Christians, being happy and satisfied, regardless of external circumstances, is what differentiates us from the world. So, how do we achieve this state of internal contentment?  In this episode:  * The importance of our emotional life * The fastest way to get out of discontentment * Being present in the presence and power of God Let go of the responsibility of making things happen. God is the master. He is the source of our happiness. He is the Faithful One working!
