On the round table this week, the guys talk about the important topic of forgiveness. We've discussed this before, but this time the conversation focuses primarily upon the importance of forgiving ourselves, and how it impacts our ability to love and forgive others. We also discuss why it is that the Father wants us to forgive ourselves as He has forgiven us, and ways in which He will reach out to help us do so (including a story Carl brought back from Philadelphia on the topic). Thanks for listening. We pray that it's a blessing to you! If you have any questions or feedback, feel free to reach out to us via email or social media: Email: brokenrecordministries@gmail.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/brokenrecordministries Twitter: @BRM44 Also, we're on TikTok and Instagram. This week, the guys of the round table discuss what it means to be better together, as well as accidentally coining a new term: begether! We talk about the ways we encourage and uplift one another, why it's important, and share some of the difficulties we struggle with in letting others into our lives (especially when we have been hurt by those who we thought were our friends in the past). In this episode, the Round Table discusses what it's like to deflect things in their life, before becoming a believer and even after. Do they deflect things for protection, or do they deflect things for their own justification? We pray that this episode helps you in anyway that He sees. What is Heaven really going to be like? The enemy wants us to believe lies about Heaven, but the truth is that whatever you think Heaven will be like—it's going to be SO much better! Too wonderful for us to even comprehend with our earthly minds. Listen to this message from Pastor Ben Carr about what Heaven isn't, what it takes to get to Heaven, and how to live our lives here on Earth like they matter.

Gospel Scripture: (all NIV) Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” Romans 3:24 “and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” Romans 3:25 (a) “God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood.” Hebrews 9:22 (b) “without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.” Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:11 “Not only is this so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.” John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Romans 10:9 “That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Luke 15:10 says “In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” Romans 8:1 “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” Ephesians 1:13–14 “And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession- to the praise of his glory.” Ephesians 1:15–23 “For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.” Ephesians 2:8–10 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God‘s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.“ Ephesians 2:13 “But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.“ Philippians 1:6 “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
Pastor Jeff completed our corporate Bible study series from 1 Corinthians this past Sunday emphasizing Chapters 15 and 16. He reminded us of our overall theme “Heaven Bound” and reiterated that our preparation for our heavenly destination should be greater than that of our earthly destinations. One of the ways we can prepare is to access the power that has been afforded us through the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit. We should use this power in our everyday life to pray, testify, obey the scriptures, understanding that we too will be “resurrected” one day. Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your moral bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Notice that the S in spirit is capitalized, therefore, it is referencing the Holy Spirit that lives in each of us and results in resurrection power. Selah

Pastor Jeff began a new corporate Bible study series this past Sunday from the book of 1 Corinthians. The study will continue through the end of March and the overall theme is “Heaven Bound.” Paul is addressing the church at Corinth and clarifying the conduct that is necessary to have a fruitful walk with Christ. The focus scripture for the subtopic was 1 Corinthians 1:30-31 which encourages us to embrace God and being united with Jesus as the foundation of our salvation and the guarantee that we are heaven bound. Scripture - Hebrews 11:8-10, 13-16 Sermon Summary: Living and dying in faith is what Heaven-bound people do.
All believers believe that they are true believers, but what if we are really more like Queen Vashti, a rebellious, beautiful, royal Queen, and not like Queen Esther, royal, powerful, humble. She submitted to her king and understood and exerted spiritual weapons such as fasting and praying to save a dying world. The question is, can we become Queen Esther now in the end times?

King David probably wrote Psalm 32 after Psalm 51 where he confessed his sin with Bathsheba. It's a song of forgiveness. It encourages us to confess our sins to God (not a priest!) to experience being blessed and forgiven. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. Please forgive me. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and my life to you. Who loves the idea of the perfect Hallmark town? I love the idea of the small town where everyone knows everyone and the meeting place is the diner with lots of coffee flowing. Where are my coffee lovers? Now let's ramp it up with some Christmas Spirit. Cue the beautiful twinkling lights hung perfectly on every shop. There is magnificent garland and red bowed wreaths with a warm welcome at every door. Next we see the horse drawn carriage that looks like Cinderella's coach all lit up and filled with riders who are laughing and don't seem to have a care in the world. On the outside this town looks ”perfect”. There are towns that look like this in America.
