Patreon Preview from Blamo! We are incredibly pleased to present a special episode of the JJJ Show. If you're new here, the JJJ Show is hosted by Jeff Hilliard, Jeremy Kirkland, and Jian DeLeon. It's our fashion head podcast where we rant and dissect everything in menswear and fashion.BUT THIS episode is the one where we finally convinced Lance Panda, the influencer's influencer, to come on board. We recorded this the day we left Tokyo, and it almost didn't happen, but we got it!So, who is Lance Panda? Well, he's a bit of a mystery, yes, he's on social media, but Lance is honestly just a collector, and in my opinion, that one friend we all have who reminds you how much fun it is to like clothes, music, watches, whatever it is.We chat a bit about Lance's style, getting into the Japanese brand Goros, collecting Rolex, and why liking what you like is the best way to collect.**Listen to the entire episode on the Blamo! It's highly likely you either know who Jeff Hilliard is, or you're familiar with his work. And if you're still coming up short, your favorite people in the style community have worked alongside him. Jeff's one of the mainstays and brains behind many of the Limited Editions watches from Hodinkee, while he also moonlights as somewhat of a NYC fashion staple as one of the 3 J's in Blamo!'s JJJ Show. Together, he and I chat about style, his journey with clothes, what will never leave, as well as his approach to watch collecting. Lastly, even though he brings it up, Jeff happened to pen my favorite article in HODINKEE history called Finding My Father in His Watch. You've probably read it. We didn't go into it, and that's mainly because we ultimately decided to make this a two-part conversation, so without further ado…here's Part 1 with Jeff. Today's episode is coming at you in two parts. Founded by F.A. Porsche in 1972, Porsche Design has made a number of contributions to watches, which we also discuss. After that, James Stacey and Mark Kauzlarich join the show. Since we're already halfway through 2024, we decided to recap the first half of the year: Our favorite releases, overlooked watches, and the watches we've been wearing the most. Thanks for listening, and enjoy the show. In 'Part Two' of this week's @EchoChamberFP we check out a new crazy indie flick, giving a glimpse of a tech equipped future. Then we speak to the star of the piece, Russell Steinberg. Which you can watch HERE: https://youtu.be/IqjgTM88w6Q 'Laguna Ave' manifests out of the minds of director David Buchanan and writer Paul Papadeas. It follows Russell (Russell Steinberg), a burned-out television editor and middle-aged slacker with a prosthetic hand, who's futilely searching for work in Hollywood's brutal, exploitative underbelly. His former boss owes him money, his partner Rita (Stephanie Brait) is always out of town and inaccessible, and his new downstairs neighbour, Gary (James Markham Hall Jr) keeps him awake at night with mysterious, disturbing noises. But everything changes one evening when Gary pays Russell a visit introducing him to a sinister world of an accelerationist conspiracy.
