Meet Joe and Becky Dougherty, prayer warriors and persistent missionaries, who are sold out for the Lord and for others. Join us as they share how God led them to Unbound and now serve as a couple both near and far. You have to hear their amazing story of how the Lord brought them together, a wonderful Unbound moment. Be inspired by other stories of God's presence changing lives and His miracles happening!"I think we've both been blessed in the area of the prophetic and a lot of times we'll be praying with the person and through Unbound. And there's a moment when there's a Holy Spirit 'breakdown', and that's when I find that people's hearts are really touched. It's in those Holy Spirit 'breakdown' moments that God just enters in. He starts to do things that we're not even thinking about or contemplating that He might be doing. We had a situation just recently where we were praying Unbound with an individual, and he was asking for one thing, but when we prayed with him, something happened in his chest. I was just thinking, well, that's the Holy Spirit coming upon him. But later he wrote back to us and said, 'I think when you prayed with me, a miracle took place because I had this lump in my chest about the size of my thumb. Afterward, when I went home, it just became like the tip of my finger, I could feel it was different. So I want to get it x-rayed and the x-ray showed that it had almost entirely disappeared!' When you hear the words diversity, equity and inclusion, white male is probably not the first thing that comes to mind. In fact, white male leaders offer an important, and perhaps less heard, voice in discussions about transforming organizational culture to support the success of all diverse talent. This advocacy journey is not always linear, but white male allies play a critical role in providing mentorship, resources and opportunity to make their organizations—and leaders—more diverse and inclusive. On this episode of Dimensions of Diversity, host Lloyd Freeman is joined by Greg Jordan, General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer at PNC Financial Services and Joe Dougherty, CEO and Managing Director of Buchanan. The three will offer their personal successes and missteps, and what they are doing every day to foster organizational change and create truly inclusive workplaces. We are fortunate Utah has not yet seen a community spread of the Coronavirus. But with the high level of transmission worldwide, we need to do our very best to prepare. The best way to fight an enemy is to be ready for it. So, does that mean it’s appropriate to declare a state of emergency in your city or town? Today in our #CitiesWork podcast we address that question with Ron Gordon, general counsel to Gov. Gary Herbert, Joe Dougherty, PIO for the Utah Division of Emergency Management, and Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall, who declared a state of emergency for the city earlier this week.

The big one to think about is the earthquake. There is a fault line along the Wasatch Front extending from Idaho to Sanpete County. It has the potential to unleash a 7.0 magnitude earthquake. This could result in several thousand deaths from collapsing homes, along with gas line fires, water main breaks and electrical grid failure. Since much of the Salt Lake urban area sits on an ancient lake bed, a large earthquake could disrupt the soil structure causing large scale devastation. In this podcast, we are talking to Joe Dougherty with the Be Ready Utah program hoe to prepare for earthquakes.
