I'm not entirely sure what this show is erasing, be it psychics or witches, but I do know they messed up by erasing Kim Cattrell and Art Hindle.

Your favourite TransAtlantic podcasting crew continue to try their hands at a little TV Pilot Analysis with the spiritual sister to the popular sitcom in How I Met Your Mother, with How I Met Your Father. Ian and Georgia are both learning the route as the show was less than 9 days old at time of recording. We're trying to charge our phones this episode as we discuss: Our feelings towards How I Met Your Mother and if this series can stand on its own feet The adaptation of an all-time classic tv theme tune and if it holds its own How the series pulls a reverse Bob Saget by heavily featuring Kim Cattrell on screen If this show is missing a Barney-type character If Sophie is asking for trouble Ian loves that there's a character named after him until he ends up being rather inconsiderate Ian and Georgia both give their first impressions of the series, having never seen it before Would we ground the How I Met Your Father pilot or is it Cleared for Takeoff?

In the latest episode we look back at what happened to John Carpenter's 1986 martial arts fantasy action pic Big Trouble In Little China starring Kurt Russell, Kim Cattrell, Dennis Dun, James Hong, Victor Wong and Kate Burton. A box office bomb upon release, the film later went on to become a cult classic, even if it seemingly soured Carpenter on the big studio picture. Join us and take a look at What The F*ck Happened to Big Trouble in Little China!
Miranda (Alejandro) and Charlotte (Christian) take a break from the real world and watch this delight, Sex and the City 2 (2010) starring the Fab Four, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrell, and Kristin Davis. Surprisingly the Boys have so much to say about this franchise, one that is not intended for them at all. The Boys also debut their idea for a new reality show “Rich Enough”. And Christian thinks there’s hundreds of women who listen to this podcast. Alejandro thinks it’s closer to ten, yet thinks more people listen to this podcast whilst drinking a beer in the shower. Alice Eve has the smallest part in the movie yet the largest part in the podcast. And let us know if you can, in less than an hour, explain the entire franchise to us, you will get “Baddie of the Year” award. Bonus points to the Baddie who can explain how Ron White got a role in this film.
In this episode of "WTF Happened To This Movie," we look at what happened to John Carpenter's 1986 martial arts fantasy action pic "Big Trouble In Little China," starring Kurt Russell, Kim Cattrell, Dennis Dun, James Hong, and Victor Wong. 20th Fox century tapped John Carpenter to direct the film. Armed with a relatively large budget of $25-million, the director who had recently turned down the chance to helm a little movie called Top Gun reunited with actor Kurt Russell to create an action-packed martial arts masterpiece. But the film became a massive box-office bomb making only $10-million in its initial run and debuting out of the Top Ten. What happened? How did a movie that became one of the biggest cult classics of all time fail? We'll find out in this episode of "WTF Happened To This Movie."
We all love babies right? Now what if we replaced babies with 6 year old kids with stunted growth and pasted their heads onto the bodies of little people? No? How about some CGI lip-syncing so they can talk? No? Ok, well how about stuffing a child actor into a bin of soiled undies? Yes, please. So Baby Geniuses and it's followup are two of the lowest rated movies that have ever existed, despite the overwhelming amount of fake 10/10 reviews on IMDB, it still was a box-office smash. Why? Because people love babies! Babies can do no wrong! Even when they are covered in dookie, murdering bums, imitating John Travolta and keeping the secrets of life to themselves out of selfish dickery! I'm not really sure if people who went to this for love of babies actually paid attention to what these awful children are actually up to. On the other side of the coin, Kathleen Turner and Christopher Lloyd are evil because we're told their evil even though their actions and motivations are parallels of our "hero adults" Kim Cattrell and Peter MacNicol which only reveals more about these horrific little baby monsters. While, we can't in good faith say that Baby Geniuses is a do for fans of crappy films, it's so close to being one of the greatest bad movies ever if only it could have stuck with babies doing karate and diving into dumpsters, but sadly tries to put the good-feelers into it's clearly moronic intended audience. Do or don't, what the hell do we care. Our souls have been eroded by dancing babies.

Protest pieces by global activist group Extinction Rebellion have been added to the V&A’s Rapid Response Collecting Gallery. Attention cadets! Your assignment: POLICE ACADEMY, the 1984 comedy starring Steve Guttenberg, Kim Cattrell and the guy who makes noises with his mouth! Also featuring G.W. Bailey, Bubba Smith, this movie spawned seven sequels, which should be a prosecutable offense under the law. We loved this movie as when we were juvenile civilians, but how does it hold up now? Greetings, and welcome back to Horror Business. We have one awesome episode in store for you guys. In this episode we’re talking about creature features with 1983’s The Being and 1992’s Split Second. First and foremost we want to give a shoutout to our sponsors over at Lehigh Valley Apparel Creations, the premiere screen-printing company of the Lehigh Valley. Chris Reject and his merry band of miscreants are ready to work with you to bring to life your vision of a t-shirt for your business, band, project, or whatever else it is you need represented by a shirt, sweater, pin, or coozy. Head on over to www.xlvacx.com to check them out. Also, thank you to our Patreon subscribers. Your support means the world to us and we are eternally grateful for that support. Thanks! We start by talking about what we’ve seen or done lately in the field of horror. Liam talks about seeing the film A Hole In The Ground, and Justin talks about seeing The Possession Of Hannah Grace, I Think We’re Alone Now, and Lords Of Chaos. We begin by talking about The Being. Immediately we discuss how the film was very clearly a vanity project for the produce Bill Osco, who had a starring role in the film. Osco’s “career” is discussed. We are openly befuddled at how a movie that has so many accomplished actors in it can be so bad. We discuss the film’s lack of coherency, poor effects, confusing narrative, and horrible editing. Jackie Kong’s hands being tied during the filming of this movie is discussed. Next up is 1992’s Split Second. We begin by giving a brief summation of the film. Liam argues that the movie is very heavily influenced by the comic book series Heavy Metal. The mixing of genres that the movie uses, be they cyberpunk, neo noir, horror, and sci fi, is touched upon. The movies sense of being very “90s” is discussed. The creature design is touched upon. Rutger Hauer’s innovation of the “hardboiled cop” trope is discussed, in that he brings a sense of vulnerability and fragility to the character. Kim Cattrell’s acting is touched upon, as is the fact that she is more than just a romantic subplot in the movie, in that she plays the role of anchoring Hauer’s character in reality and sanity. There is more discussion on the similarities with Heavy Metal. Some of the shortcomings of the movie are discussed, and we postulate that this is a movie that could benefit from a remake. As always thanks to everyone and anyone who donated on Patreon, checked this episode out, or shared a tweet/shared a post on FB/gave us love by recommending us to someone. We love you forever for listening.
