Persistence of Vision. Someone didn't have their coffee this morning. And when you're a starship captain with little faith in your first officer, you gotta have your joe. There's never enough time to do everything that needs to be done, and keeping the ship running smoothly has left Janeway with little time to eat (but apparently time to go goth—not in the way you think). In this episode of The Ready Room, we're joined by Charlynn Schmiedt, Suzanne Abbott, and Phillip Gilfus to unravel the mysteries of “Persistence of Vision,” Janeway's exhaustion and hallucinations that may be caused by a creepy alien (but may be due to problems with the holodeck… or both), why Sybok is in the Delta Quadrant, and, of course, to get down with Mrs. Templeton. In our news segment we share our thoughts on the Latino Review article claiming that CBS is preparing to bring Star Trek back to television, Simon Pegg's comments about the next film, and we kick off our traditional speculation on a possible villain (this time we're sure it's not Khan).   Hosts Christopher Jones and Charlynn Schmiedt   Guests Suzanne Abbott and Phillip Gilfus   Editor and Producer Christopher Jones   Associate Producer Renee Roberts   Production Manager Richard Marquez   Content Coordinator Will Nguyen   News CBS looking to being Star Trek back to TV? This week's hosts discuss Agent Carter episode 7 "SNAFU." As always the hosts also discuss the week in Marvel news, interact with the live Mixlr chat room and review down all the awesome Legends Of S.H.I.E.L.D. feedback.   Welcome Neil to Legends Of S.H.I.E.L.D. SNAFU was directed by Vincent Misiano and written by Chris Dingess, an experienced crew which showed during this great episode. There was incredible interplay  between Dooley, Thompson, Sousa and Carter. And some of the best interaction between Jarvis and Carter of the series so far was in this episode. Dottie showed off some freaky skills and Leviathan is positioned to do some very bad things with the fruits of their Stark-tech theft which we've coined as "Angry Murder Gas." Is Thompson underway with a redemption arc? And sadly we bid a heroic farewell to Chief Dooley, a man who was doing the best he could to keep up with the realities of a new Superhero world. Just what is Dr. Fenhoff doing with the ring and what's his true origin story? And finally will Marvel be able to tie up all the Agent Carter loose ends during this event next episode like Finow, the lost voice boxes, what is really going on with the Stark Tech and don;t forget Roxxon Corporations involvement into the story as well.   EXTRAS: Star Trek Generations Ribbon - which Haley has never seen yet. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0111280/?ref_=nv_sr_1   Continuum http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1954347/?ref_=nv_sr_1   YVRShoots - A record of movie and television shoots around the Vancouver area http://yvrshoots.com/   NEWS [28:59]   [MCU TV] AoS News - Mockingbird, played by Adrianne Palicki, is bumped up to a show regular. "I wouldn’t put it that way. Ultimately it’s Steve’s story; it doesn’t say ‘Iron Man 4: Civil War’. Great to see the buzz picking up in advance of the release. Before I get any emails (ha) about this odd title, honestly this how it's spelt on the poster and on IMDB. Also if any of you are wondering about the song this week, my brother requested this and I couldn't think of another song to use so this one won out. Well despite the facelift the Latino Review did for it's website it would appear that I can still use it as my source of information without too many problems so I talk the news. The Trailer Spot for this week is called Chronicle, in retrospect I don't know why it's called that maybe it should be called Andrew because he becomes the bad guy in the film. I fill in a small rant between the Trailer Spot and the Box Office Report, because I have to shake my head at all the horror buffs that decided that The Devil Inside was going to be a good movie...well anyways I do the Box Office Report after that. As for reviews I start things off with Paul (starring Nick Frost and Simon Pegg) and then Happythankyoumoreplease (starring Josh Radnor and Malin Akerman). Lastly I discuss a couple DLC packs I downloaded for Mass Effect 2, thus why the album art is Mass Effect this week. Enjoy the show! Opening and Closing Song- Blackout by Breathe Carolina
